Quality was terrible. It’s really unfair, but I paid big money for doll witch isn’t perfect. My first Kamau had LIGHTER parts, air bubbles, folds on legs and arms. IH changed my Kamau, I must waited long time for second doll in perfect condition. Unfortunately, my second Kamau isn’t perfect too. Every faults are the same, he have MORE lighter parts than earlier. There is only one different - Kamau haven’t air bubbles. And this time, IH tell me that they doesn’t see problem. I’m really angry. How is it possible? If earlier they can see these faults, why they doesn’t see this time?

A little yes. Of course on the pictures I didn’t see that lighter parts, air bubbles and many folds! Argh!

I ran a DoA-based group order for a resin head (mine), plus doll clothing, shoes and accessories.

During their 2009 Christmas event. Placed order on 17 Dec.

* How was the communication?
Very prompt! I posted numerous times on their Q&A and they would reply the next (business) day.

* How easy was it to pay?
Straightforward and easy, they sent a confirmation email with instructions. Iple also let me combine two orders into one shipment.

* How long did it take to ship?
3 weeks - shipped on 10 Jan, arrived 15 Jan. They may have shipped earlier if I had enquired earlier.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
I had a chance to look at all the items in the GO; just by eyeballing without taking anything out of packaging, I'd say that they are well worth the discounted price we paid.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, but one item that was labelled as "leather" actually wasn't even fake leather but another material entirely.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Apart from small disappointment in the "leather" item (not worth complaining to Iple about), everyone in the GO (including me) seemed to be satisfied with their items.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
On my part, my resin head was actually completely out of stock, though I could order it, so Iple refunded my money. A little disappointed but Iple had a legit reason for that happening.

Definitely! Iple has top-class doll clothing and great customer service too!

* How was the communication? - Iple was very accommodating and helpful, I asked a LOT of questions both before and after ordering. I always got a clear and concise answer within 24 hours of asking.
* How easy was it to pay? - It was actually a very difficult transaction. My mother was trying to purchase the doll for me. I used her credit card, the site made it incredibly hard to use it, and then once we ordered it was immediately canceled with no reason given. Because of a refused international transaction, my mom's credit card got frozen. After that struggle, we paid with PayPal, but it took a very long time for the money to charge, and even longer for my order verification to come.
* How long did it take to ship? - He shipped after 17 days, and arrived in four. My wait was 21 days altogether.
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? - Mostly, but he has one seam line that is very rough, and will definitely need to be sanded before I blush him. It is are uncomfortable to the touch and catches on his clothes a bit.
* Did the item look like the sales pictures? - He looks even better! Iple's pictures are mostly beautiful, but I really feel that they do not do Luo justice.

How was the communication?
Really no communication necessary. I ordered through their website which was the most painless and easy site to order through. Although I never got my confirmation email, I was still able to track my order from the webpage so there really wasn't any issue there. I knew where my order was at through the whole process.

Very easy. I paid via Paypal straight from the site.

How long did it take to ship?
I received it today (Wednesday, 7th April 2010.) It is by the far the fastest shipping yet from overseas. I've never had a package arrive so darn fast.

Communication was good! I got confirmation e-mails for ordering and a shipping notice, and they answered my Q&A question within a week even though I found the answer out by myself, haha.

* How easy was it to pay?
For some reason I could not figure out how to pay them via Paypal and had to come here to see what their Paypal email was... though I just ordered from them again now and it was incredibly easy to send money (they basically walk you through it), so I think I just might've been too flustered at the time to figure it out!

* How long did it take to ship?
He shipped out March 17th, and arrived March 19th. I was incredibly impressed with not only how soon they made him and painted him, but with how soon he came to my house!! Awesome shipping!

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Definitely - he's one beast of a doll. His sculpt is absolutely gorgeous and his resin is nice, toothy and heavy! He's a little weird to pose, but with how buff he is that's something to expect.

The faceup was a little more dark in the lips than the picture shown on the website and he's a little more smiley (the line in between his lips looks a tad more extended than in the photos), but that's no biggie - merely just difference between painters/other Luos. Other than that, he looked even better!

Absolutely satisfied - at the time of posting he's the most expensive thing I've ever bought, but I don't regret a penny! Even the icky shipping cost was worth it to get him so fast!

Just under a month; I received Amy on March 12th.

Absolutely. I love Iplehouse dolls. They are amazing. And I have always had good luck with the company's clothes and wigs.

Yes; the doll is wonderful, and the socks and shoes are top quality. The wig is nice too, just a tad big, so it comes down over her ears a bit much, but looks fine. I like to put a hat on Amy when she wears it so it is more secure.

I didn't really need to communicate with them until after he arrived, they replied to their doll hospital board in a few days. So far as speed goes I don't have any complaints.

They do not however send shipping notices anymore, and I did not like that so much. This isn't such a big deal when you know about it, however (I did not at first).

Easy enough, I paid through their shopping cart with credit card

I received the doll on June 7th, as I received no shipping notice via email I can't tell you when exactly it sent out. But EMS generally takes 3-4 days from Korea, based on past experience.

Yes and no. I bought the doll blank, so it wouldn't look like the painted sales picture, obviously. I say no because of the obvious problems with the head. It was not finished to a smooth surface and had several scratches and chips around the ears and at the back of the head, though thankfully no cracks or other severe structural damage.

Not at all.

They didn't. They basically advised me to sand the head's surface smooth myself and suggested the the scratches could be covered by a wig, and since they could be covered by a wig it was not their responsibility to do anything. Unfortunately I have to say no. Although I have ordered from Iplehouse in the past with no problems, this experience with their customer service does not inspire confidence in the company, so far as I am concerned. I have lost my trust that they will deliver a quality product.

The resin quality is nice, and I appreciate how they designed the pieces so that the seams would be on the back of the doll where they'd be harder to notice. The elbow and knee joints are engineered strangely so that bending them further than 90 degrees takes a little finagling and looks funny, though. Also, the pieces meant to hide the wrist joints pop out when the wrists are bent too far. Overall though, I feel like I got my money's worth. The E.I.D. woman body (with medium bust) has very natural proportions. I also appreciate the inclusion of high-heeled feet, which are necessary for a lot of shoes in her size.

The wig looks and feels nice but sheds; the sweater is delicately knit and very nice.

EDIT: After one week, the resin hook in her right foot snapped under normal conditions. I did not contact Iple about this because I gathered from other threads that Iple expects the customer to pay for a replacement set of feet, which I find unreasonable.

Additionally, whereas they originally told me they would reimburse me for shipping, they only gave me store credit, which is not equivalent to cash.

The qaulity is amazing, his colour is perfectly uniform all over and most of his seamlines aren't noticable the ones that are aren't very bad at all. He's pretty much perfect, they did an amazing job on him.

I amazed by enginering, her joint is not much visible and hide smartly. She is more expensive than most basic 60 cm. girl but I think she worths every cent I paid.

They are a few things I unsatisfied, I dislike some parts of her face up. Face up artist done amazing job with her eyebrows and eyelashes but her lip is looks so amateur and a brush on her right cheek has little three spots that brush did not cover. Other than that I really satisfied.

I can stand with her face up but other things that I really unsatisfies is Iple forget to mark price as I ask even they state clearly on FAQ that customers has right to ask them to mark price as request so I got hit alot by customs fee. (I paid more than 3 times I normally paid for customs fee.)

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
They answer they had package missing by post office recently so basically they mark price $100~250 for dolls. That OK for me and I can understand them.

I sent her head back and Iplehouse redone her face-up for me.

Okay, I guess. I posted my question on the Q & A board on 15 Oct and they got back to me 3 days later.

I paid via Paypal, so it was super easy.

* How long did it take to ship?
It took 35 days to get everything done and ship out, which is fast! The shipping was the best part. My boy was shipped on 19 Oct and arrived on 21 Oct. Thumbs up for fast shipping!

Non-existent. lol I never got a confirmation email or anything until shipment. I did use their Q&A board which was kind of confusing for me. I would get sidetracked and I never checked their response to my questions. I sort of just gave up.
* How easy was it to pay?
To be technical, it was very easy but not as easy as Soom or some other places I've ordered from. You have to keep track of how much you want to pay and the dates yourself. You will never get an invoice or reminder from Iplehouse. On your order info in your account at their website, they will make a note of how much you paid and what date you paid it. You simply send money through paypal to either of their 2 paypal email accounts.
* How long did it take to ship?
After final payment it took about a week or so to prepare my order, after I got shipping notice it only took about 4 days through EMS and USPS post.
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Errr... To be honest, no. Perhaps I'm spoiled because I've been used to Soom dolls. Soom goes all out with details and includes a pillow/storage bag with their dolls. When I got Asa I was surprised by the difference in quality despite the prices being really similar. Also body blushing was a disappointment. The only thing blushed were her nails and chest. Not really worth the price I paid in my opinion.

Yes and no, it was similar, but not quite so refined and delicate looking as in the promo pictures. Her face is also slightly asymetrical which I didn't really see in the promo pictures.

Yes as satisfied as I could be. I think I may have had too high an expectation.

How was the communication?
Non-existent. I would've hoped for and was expecting a shipping notice of some sort, but I got nothing.

How easy was it to pay?
Very easy via PayPal.

How long did it take to ship?
I was pleasantly surprised when they shipped my order some couple weeks before I was expecting them to. Overall I only had to wait for a month and a half, and my girl arrived from the customs at October 6th.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes, the doll is stunning and the clothes are high quality products.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, and even better if I dare say so myself.

Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes. Although I must mention that there's a strange bump in one of the doll's thumbs, and one of her arm where the wrist and arm parts meet, but I assume those are easily fixed with some sanding when I'll redo her manicure at some point.
Also I had to fix one of her high heeled feet myself because the S-hook wouldn't fit through the hole. Overall nothing to worry about, especially since they surprised me with lovely little gift items.

If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
I'm fairly certain I can fix the minor imperfections myself, so no need to ask them to do it for me.

Would you order from this company again?
Most definitely, their dolls are so beautiful and human-like, and the clothes and accessories are of solid quality.

Once I use MSC on her face up, maybe it will lighten up or blush her to make her light. Outfits look the same, but I was surprise the love me skirt has a sheen look to the fabric. Otherwise the outfits are cute, and the doll is nice considering it didn't look like the images. As they say, don't let the images fool you.

* Were you satisfied with the product? Yes! The doll was gorgeous, only few major rough seams, but that is in areas that are not seen. Outfits are good quality, and I really adore the Tora hoodie.

* How long did it take to ship? 27 days. The order went "on shipping" on November 14, 2010, and she was at my door on November 19, 2010.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Very much so! She is gorgeous, and solid, and that unique EID body shape is stuning! The shoes fit like a dream and are extremely well made and functional (working buckles), and the lingerie and clothing are of superb quality, too. The doll stand is solid, and versatile enough to be used by different size dolls, and it holds them very securely.

* Were you satisfied with the product? Extremely satisfied. I have another Iplehouse doll, but this was my first time ordering clothing, shoes and other items from them, and I am truly impressed. I had a little bit of a hard time getting the hooks into the high heel feet, but I just used a drill bit to slightly widen the opening, and pliers to put the hooks in place and it worked like a charm

I love the doll- the quality is by far the best I've ever seen (even better than Volks) and the faceup is GORGEOUS, but the resin may end up being too dark for the character that I had in mind Also- the stringing on her legs is uneven which makes it impossible for her to stand.

* How long did it take to ship? I had to do a layby, but was completely impressed that he shipped the *same day* that I paid off my layby.
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Almost completely. There are a few little issues with the sculpt that concern me that I would not have expected from the price I paid. The notable one to me is the area on his upper arm that joints with the moveable elbow piece. The thin 'tabs' that cup the elbow piece seem to be warped and flare outwards on his right arm only. I don't know if this is something that all of the dolls have, or just mine. It could be because he was also incredibly tightly strung, which I remedied later that day. Also, the elastic he was strung with was thinner than I expected. However, those *are* very minor things to me and it does not affect my overall happiness at having this beautiful doll. Oh, and I was quite surprised at how low they valued him on the customs form ($80!!).
