I've waited two months for m3 stuff in the past. :/ Did you order from Korea or the european shop?
The Korean shop will take about a month, the euro one is just a middle man so they mostly have to order from there themselves. I wouldn't use them again, just for the wait. I'd sooner get a customs charge than wait that long for clothing again.

Question for those with big boys. What size and make eyes do you put in your EID men? I've had Lorn nearly a year and he still has the teal eyes he came with. He's supposed to have one chestnut coloured eye and one red beast looking eye. Need to also find him a longer wavier wig. Poor things been neglected. Would also like to get him the new bod, but that won't happen for a long while.

 

Adalwolf - My M3 order didn't take months, but they did take their sweet time preparing the items. It might have taken even longer, but as it was a group order, I felt the need to protect my ordering partners and informed M3 that if they don't ship by the 40th day, I'll have to start a Paypal claim. They shipped soon after that.

I love their stuff, but I'm a bit wary of ordering from them, because of these delays...

On another note, IH just confirmed my 1st payment for Addiction Chris. Wheeee! I guess it's time to head over to the nYID thread, too XDDD Now I have to fight the urge to pay him off fully...

 

Hi everyone, I just wanted to pop in and show you guys the dress I made for Ember today. It's not perfect, but it will do. I had to hand sew it because my machine isn't working. It's supposed to look like a nebula

if it's pirates I keep seeing the 'fantasy' part being like the 'ghost' type versions of the crew of the 'Black Pearl'.... >< really not my taste and I hope to heavens I'm wrong... mermaids would be better lol.

 

Lol, even worse would be gloppy, flapping octopus faces and such from Dead Man's Chest. I could happily live without any fantasy parts at all - swashbucklers are awesome without any additional bells and whistles.

RE: M3, I was going to say my orders didn't take long but now that I think about it I'm pretty sure it's taken several months every time. I've always received them and they were perfect, no complaints there but if memory serves, yeah, they take forever.

I have a question that's probably answered somewhere but I don't really know where to look, when they say they're discontinuing a doll and then it says (renew) next to the name does that mean they're actually just redoing that doll rather than completely discontinuing it or something else? I'm confused by the (renew).

 

They are redoing it. For instance, there's a strong general feeling that this underwear model is the new Yur.

Adalwolf - WoW, I'm glad M3 shipped your order! But I find their company policy a bit disconcerting...sitting on stuff until someone threatens to start a dispute? Doesn't really induce trust and other fuzzy feelings...(and they have such cool clothes, they really should get their act together).

On another note, I can't wait to see what you do with your Rebecca! Those hands are all kinds of awesome :

 

Adalwolf - I'm glad you finally got your items sent! I've never dealt directly with them, only through a Taobao agent and 2/3rds of the things I wanted weren't available. What I did get was nice, though.

Hey, guys -- do any of you own an Ashanti and other Iple girls?

I'm planning on making her a hardcap wig (waiting for a December CDS order that will have Mr. Grumpy's body and an Ashanti head for my headless SID/nYID hybrid body), but I'm wondering if any of the girls (I have Carina, Asa, Stella, Lahela, and Aaliyah, in non-vamp-eared girls)... is Ashanti particularly close in size/shape to any of them?

rootedinvanity - whoa, he's hardly even recognizable as a Felix! Felix is one of my favourite Iple boy molds, by far, because he's so versatile and can do so many different things.

Adalwolf - OMG FACE UP YES PLZ LOTS OF PHOTOZ WITH SHAG NOW. YES.

Also those hands are pretty amazing use of jointed hands. That design is seriously best fitted for robots. And yeah, Rebecca does have that self-confident smile that can take a few turns.

It looks like faceup A. B had pinker lips and black eyebrows and lashes. The intensity appears to come from a combination of the resin color and the lighting.

She's gorgeous, Osmushka373! The wig is f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s! Is it a Jpopdolls wig?

 

Felix is still my weakness for SID men and Tedros is my EID weakness, not like I can get them now......but later on. I would love to see a NS Ashanti, seems not too many have her in that color.

I was going to post links, but there are quite a few -- if you look through the IpleHouse Ashanti search results on Flickr, you can see her in a rainbow of resin colors. There are quite a few WS, NS, and at least one PG Ashanti.

Tonner Girl on Flickr has four Ashantis in four resin tones, which makes for a great comparison.

She's coming with a face-up, her body is ready and waiting, and I didn't want her to have to languish while I went about the somewhat lengthy process of wig-making (some people can do it fairly quickly, but I'm slow -- if I rush, it winds up a glue-clumpy mess!) . . . so I'll make it on Asa's head but will leave the front part (around the ears/etc.) unfinished until Ashanti gets home, to make sure I have the right fit.
