@Frillseeker Your garment construction and embellishments are so beautiful. I hope to one day create some couture pieces as nice as yours. Still trying to get better at the basics at the moment.

Here's a picture of my Aria from last week from my first outdoor shoot. I need to take more photos of my other dolls though.

 

Your Aria is beautiful I was so torn between mari and aria. I went with mari but I think she needs a sister hehe

I love that shot. Seeing the lake in the background and the trees and leaves. I love her glasses as well for they make her seem so scholarly. She is lovely.

 

@Bambi Darling - Mari is a lovely sculpt and the pair of them could definitely pull off being sisters. If I hadn't already placed a moratorium on acquiring more girls, I would be considering Mari.

@Bren - Thank you! It was a nice day for pictures. Texas has mild late fall/early winters which are pleasant to be outdoors. Everyone in my family wears glasses, so I thought it was fitting that they should extend to my dolls.

Once the holidays are in full swing, and I can take time off of work, I'm going to make more clothes for my IH crew and take more pictures. Looking forward to more photo spam from others!

@Frillseeker - Congrats on your Elle! The panel and windows look great. I am planning on building a diorama in 2021, so this is wonderful inspiration.

@luluna - I have never considered getting WS for any of my dolls, but Vespertine is so ethereal looking. I can envision one in my collection in the future after my moratorium lapses.

Good news for me, my second hand Grace on old sid body in ( I'm not sure if I'm right) normal skin on the way. seller just shipped it today from Sweeden to Scotland. Well, hope so I will enjoy her.

Oh, mine's not incoming, but I love her just the same, LOL. She has the best wardrobe of all my dolls, and I really ought to take more pictures of her! I sure am looking forward to more Grace photos though, and I just love the Christmas photos, so more of those please I am simply not that creative, and am so inspired by you all!!!

ooh, @Khlovera , is that a dollshe body? What are the resin colors? I'm sure you'll be able to blush the neck adapter to match, but if you have trouble, you could make her a choker, I think that would go well with her design, and she's so gorgeous!!!!

@Bambi Darling thanks stella is my favourite sculpt of Iplehouse’s

@IngieBee it’s not a perfect match, Iplehouse’s PG is much more pinky and copper oriental is mostly like a light coffee or brown/bronze. I would say the match is about 75-80% originally. My Stella got a good matched was probably because of her faceup that has a orange and metal tone, so it suppressed the original pinky tone of the head and got matched well.

I’m still looking for body for Venus, hesitating between EID/HID/26F, regardless the skin match

 

@Khlovera , are you sure you need the spacer? It seems a little long to me that way (I'm really into realism though) I feel like she is a Ndebele tribes woman with the rings that stretched her neck out. A pretty but deadly look! Maybe a little leather sueding will give her just the lift she needs but not too much?

 

Poptart I love the festive scene...it does look like Dexter might be starting to lose his patience with unravelling those lights LOL I love seeing the little ones in with them too.

@IngieBee do you mean that she may looks good without the adaptor? lol the photo I showed last time with the black dress was the result of her on Dollshe 26F body without neck adaptor, I guess she might be shorter-neck so I placed the neck adaptor. Sueding! Good idea I might try that option! Thanks for the hint

I'm so sorry for being a critic but yes, I think she looks perfect in this picture. I guess I've been struggling with too-long necks in my group which isn't so bad with clothing on, but I just dislike them for not being realistic, LOL. You should do what YOU like, and I wish I could say my preference in a way that was nicer (my lack of decorum and communication skills) I also don't understand what people are trying to say when they aren't blunt and direct, LOL. So take what I said as my own personal preference and not necessarily what YOU should do if you like a longer neck and please forgive me for inserting doubt and possibly nasty tone as the internet is awful at expressing intention Ugh, Merry Christmas or please enjoy this beautiful evening LOL I shall shut up now

Seriously, could I be worse at communication? She is gorgeous both ways, I love her outfit and accessories/jewelry they are stunning

 

@IngieBee nahhh it’s always going to be a big pleasure to hear opinions back, and it’s totally understandable because we all have different taste you don’t need to be forgiven and I do enjoy your comments there’s a absolutely no worries about your skill of communication, it’s just perfect! and my English is poor also because it’s my third language

 

I like her either way, but to my eye, I definitely don't think she has a short neck without the adapter. I don't think it is necessary and prefer her that way. But if it looks wrong with your collection, you should do what you feel looks good. And again, I think I sound like I am criticizing when all I want to do is say I don't think the adapter is necessary, but not necessarily that I dislike her with it, it just wouldn't be my personal preference. She is in fact beautiful with it or without it, LOL, and I need to put this shovel down and stop digging my grave

ohh Stella is one of my most favorite Sculpt. I find her to be beautiful no matter what shade and body. She looks good from nYID to the HID body. It all depends what your character for her is. I think your Venus is gorgeous.

@Ice Mutt , sometimes it's just the style of eyes. Round ones with a low profile iris make them easier to manipulate?? But then you lose out on that depth. Still, this is the route I take, though I take awful pictures, LOL

@LyanneNZ , Yah, I gotta admit I thought "why HID" and when I look at @Bren 's V.Stella body, I realized it's like.... a perfect body! LOL. Athletic but feminine and just... perfect!

@Anita2006 , Grace is worth the wait, she is so lovely. I got mine at auction, in the brown (not sure if it's dark or light??) and she is going to get a beautiful sari some day, LOL I can't wait to makei t, but then I don't get it done!!

Yes, I got Stella in all kinds of bodies. I actually like her alot on the HID. Very elegant. and I know you love her as much as I do. You should get one on that body.

I do like your Hadyn Grace, she is so different than your other Grace. You always make them look so sexy with those side glancing eyes.

I guess I'm one of the few that can't see Stella in Pamela. Pamela lidded eyes are so distinctive and so different than Stella's that they seem very different. Does Pamela really have that perky like nose that Stella has? Pamela is one of dolls I don't personally possess. I think her CH character colored my view of her....

I think that the bikini really lets you appreciate the HID body better. And I have always found your Pamela to be so sweet and soft looking.

hee, hee. I guess I'm on a roll. Glad to share how good that body can look with that SID head. This body is the 2nd version body which is what Iple is using at the moment. People may not recall but the 1st HC Bella had the HID original body and then they changed it and the next HID, Bring it on Lahela had the 2nd Version of the HID body. (you could get different heads in that event). So there's two bodies for the HID.

 

I missed all that, @Bren, but then all the changes multiplied by all of my favorite makers .... I just can't remember anymore, LOL

 

@Bren problem is with lockdown, and planes delayed to UK so doll stucked in Belgium for Gods know how long...
