Awesome!! Thanks for posting. I'll be making my final layaway payment soon and will then have a while to wait before she shows up so I appreciate your IRL pics to hold me over until then.
I do have a question: are her ear-pieces removable or are they permanently attached once you've assembled it on her head? I hope they are removable as I was hoping to possibly throw a wig on her from time to time for versatility.

 

@IngieBee Thank you!! She's def the spoiled favorite of my lot. XD And yeah, the doll choice options are great, though I threw in extra hands when I ordered her to make sure I had a few pairs that would match.

@Revvy Oh wow, she looks amazing. Knowing their less complex outfits are so difficult to put on, can't imagine that one.

They are removable. Mine actually come off pretty easily and I have to be careful when posing her head. They have a small notch on them which makes it so you can only put them on at the angle they were intended to be put on.

It's mostly because of the skintight fake leather in some of the pieces. If I was not in a hurry I might've unstrung her completly to put on the outfit. The "socks" and gloves are the most annoying. I was so scared of snapping off a finger with the gloves. And the leather sock thingies are not stretchy at all at the top and I didn't get them up as high on her thigh as they are in the promo pics

 

Hi. She looks lovely. I just got a rehomed SID Alyssa and I agree about the new hip and thigh joints. Much better especially the hip joint. She sits up so well.
Having said that I am crying over my new girl's ankle joints. She can't seem to stand at anything other than attention. I wonder if I need to restring her legs? Her ankles roll to the inside or outside at the slightest pressure. She is wearing heels but this should not be.
What you all of you think? Please forgive me if I have missed a previous discussion (I just jumped to the end of the conversations).

Anyway, if she can't stand I may need to rehome her. I just got her last week!

I've restrung other dolls that are similar size, and I highly suggest having a friend help It's just the last piece when you gotta stretch everything that is the hardest

@Eliz-Rivenstar have you tried some kind of sueding there? a touch of hot glue or maybe a tiny corn Band-Aid? I have a lot of dolls, and none of them are perfect, all of them have something, so it's probably better to adjust a part than to find some other body for the doll??

Good if you can, @MarvinRed 'cause honestly, otherwise you're going to pinch/hurt yourself, which can be extremely frustrating, unless pain doesn't bother you, LOL. With another person, it's so much easier

Sorry if this question was asked but for doll choice you can select an SID head on an EID body? Will the head appear too small or are EID and SID heads the same size and the difference is the body? I was convinced I wanted asa but now I’m torn between mari and aria if I can get them on an EID body

just realized I could figure this out myself by comparing head size on the website oh boy

 

For the ladies, SID on EID works like a charm. I actually prefer it for more realistic proportions SID works on any of the bigger bodies really.

 

I have compared eid Raffine and sid Stella. They have almost the same size. I also got a Stella with hid female body from CDS system. She looks good.

Stella certified works on the EID. Mine hijacked one and refuses to give it back.

 

Stellas face sculpt suits the EID body so much. She is gorgeous!

Do I go for mari or aria ahhhh I really don’t know how I’ll ever decide by the time I choose a sculpt the holiday event will be over XD

edit: decided on mari with eid body. Officially ordered. I can not wait! Please spam your maris if you have her

 

@Bambi Darling congrats on ordering!! I don't have a Mari, or an SID head on an EID body - I only have the opposite. And since I just took a picture of one of them last week I can even post XD

Doria is on the older SID body and I had to pull her sleeve all the way to engage her joint, then slowly work it back down to get her hand to stay up like that XD

How does Doria look like on SID body? I guess she looks more proportional on the original one as I’ve seen one with the newer body and the body is way too slim

I do have her on the old body (there was no new body when I ordered her - it was released right after, as is how my life works XD ) and I think she looks great. I wanted her on the SID body because the girls I had at the time - Poison Ivy and Harley - were not totally realistically-proportioned and I was afraid on the EID she'd be too big and not look right with them. As it is, she fits in really well! I don't have a lot of photos (and what I do have are bad) but here is one of a meet a couple years ago

it was taken with my phone, and not straight-on so it's not a great shot of her proportions, but there is slightly more of her than the above pic.

EDIT: I didn't mention that she's got the medium bust, which helps balance her out XD

 

Beautiful!! Iplehouse has such gorgeous bodies! I’m so stoked that I will finally be able to take full body pictures and not have the head look too big lol

 

I just got a chance to buy second-hand Grace SID it is more like one year old on normal skin like the seller told me, hope so to get her in few weeks as now is Covid and I don't know how long it takes for Sweeden to the UK to arrive.

Here's one more of Rhea (elf Grace SID) for now from a while ago in her other MSire doll wig. I have two from them for her and just them.
At some point here I'll take her and my actual camera out rather than just taking phone photos all the time. XD

 

Hahaha I think you misunderstood. I meant that other company’s I have had before the heads look too big for the bodies LOL. Iplehouse has good proportions hahaha I guess I worded that oddly XD

 

I showed my hubby this picture, at first he thought he was looking at action figures. I told him NO these are BJD's, he loves the way you have them dressed, he is a huge Batman fan!

Hi everyone,
I am expecting two dolls from Iplehouse. When I asked for a tracking email, which has always worked before, they gave me a number and said “the emails don’t work.” I paid for the EMS shipping, there was no other choice. They did not give me the EMS tracking number, just their in-house number. There is no way for me to keep up.with this.Has anyone else had issues? I am aggressively following upon this, and wonder if I just got an inexperienced worker. Their dolls are gorgeous, but I need to be able to track an order if I am going to shop with them, I can’t be the only one having trouble. Help!

 

I would write back, tell them you need to track the package so you can be prepared and for peace of mind. There has to be tracking for the price you paid for shipping (It's insane right now!)

I totally agree. I did write them, have never had this problem before. Something is wrong, people are chirping about tracking their dolls in the waiting room. They will get a lot of notes from me. I wish there was a supervisor to contact.

 

I don't know if this is true, I'm only speculating, but if the price of EMS really did go up horribly last... what was it? August? And if people bought before that time and paid the more normal price, then maybe they're using another service to save money?? Something without tracking??

I think that would not be a good thing to do. That is, I don't think that it would be right of them, it was paid for up front, it is up to them to figure out how to deliver IMO, but I do NOT know that this is what they did.

 

I hope you get an answer I just placed an order with iplehouse and no tracking scares me!!!!

I told them that if they could not give me tracking information there were a lot of people on Den of Angels who would want to know. I don’t want to start trouble, but I can’t have high-value packages out there flapping. They will be getting a customer comment email from me for sure. And you have made me feel much better with your moral support. ❤️

Bren saved me. Honestly, I was stroking out here for a minute because I still have a list of dolls I want. Anyway, all you have to do is go to MyIple and you can track from there. Whew. Probably there are many Den angels laughing at me, but I don’t care. My panic resulted in immediate help from Ingie, Bambi and Bren, and the problem was solved. Love to you all!

Wow. I went back to Iplehouse to tell them that I found the tracking method and discovered that they had immediately dealt with my note. They gave chapter and verse, a link, and anything else a frantic doll nut would need. So now I can report that they do really help you. I’ll be sure and tell them that I shared their fantastic response with you all.

EDIT again: arg now i see it wasn't showing me tons of replies. I think my browser is having issues...my email glitched last night and I missed a bunch of emails I was waiting for. Stupid Safari...

@Frillseeker Have the dolls shipped yet? Have you checked your order page? There should be an EMS tracking number there if it's shipped. That's where I get mine...I don't usually get shipping notices from Iplehouse - they're still attached to my work email and get firewalled. EDIT: Well since DOA didn't give me the usual notice that people have posted before me until after I posted, I missed you got one! Yay!!
