    1. @collectionkate - Your girl is sultry and pretty! The new SID body is slim buy nicely done.

While I'm here how about some EID man spam...:XD:

    4. No worries, I'm like 80% sure nYid hands would be best just based from comparing the body proportions, but yeah a little bump here if anyone could put a ruler next to the nYid and/or SID female hands to measure how long they are?

I love the shape of his eyebrows, with those little wisps of hair, it really gives him character:D

    5. Without going and checking my girls with a tape measure, I am pretty sure my nYID girls, and my SID model girls can all exchange hands easy peas, as almost the same size. (Well if not for my one girl being gray, but her aside they can.) It's more EID women where the hand size has a bit of a notable shift in to it.

I do know nYID, SID, and EID girls all can share shoes. Also I know for a fact their flat feet fit male nYID shoes too sometimes. As my model SID boy Kyle has on female model SID flat feet to wear men's YID boots. (Both versions of my character Kyle needed to have my fav male YID big chunky goth boots. XD)

    6. Thank you, @Tippetarius - I decided to go with nYid hands then, since I like the fingers positions best in those.

I went with the layaway option for Bella so there will be quite a few months before she comes to me, but I'm pretty excited already at the thought of getting my first Iplehouse doll - can't wait to see how she looks and poses/works in real life :XD:

    15. Hi guys! I have a concern.

I'm waiting for Claude with custom face up but today I received my KID Irene, I love her to death because I've wanted her since 6-7 years ago and she's so cute. However, I got another KID 6 years ago and I wish I have gotten Irene too back then because I noticed that IH's quality has declined or did I get a bad batch?

She came with not so good face up but I can fix it. She came so floppy while my other 6 yr old KID is still strung like new, he stands like a rock while my new girl can barely stand because of the weird ankles and I spent a long time trying to stand her.

I feel like my old KID is better quality than the new one and IH's old face ups were better too.

Anyone who has old and new iplehouse dolls, is this how it is or I just got a bad batch with my Irene?

Now I feel anxious for my Claude, what if he comes with a bad face up too? what if he can't stand too? I had SID dolls before, they were sturdy and the face ups were stunning. I just hope my Claude arrives well :/

    16. that's really odd! I ordered a scarlet in December 2020, and her faceup was well-done, and she was properly strung, and stood well. I honestly think that's a really weird fluke, but also not great for iple to have done! Usually I've found (with 3 girls I've ordered new) that they're pretty perfect out of the box, though the newest girl is the only one I've ever bought with a faceup)

    17. @Jazijaz my last two Iples, Scarlet and Dean were done just fine. I had no problem with them. I have old ones as well and the majority of them have been exactly how I wanted them to be. Tho maybe one or two may have been not exactly to my liking. But that's expected when you had different artists whose work I like one better than the other doing the face up during that times. But I do not see any diminishing of quality in the resin at all and it's actually better for the resin to be a little loosely strung so things do not break if too tightly strung. I got a Vampire D and I'm looking forward to seeing him. I"m sorry to hear that your face up was not up to parr.

    18. @Jazijaz I got a Vampire Dane with Face Up C recently, which I was also disappointed in. It is not bad - but itยดs not quiet as vibrant as on the promo pictures, more a like a pale version of that original face up. The eyelashes were put in rather sloppy, one fell right out. For the price of that face up I expected a bit more. But I also have to admit that I am extremely picky regarding that. When I pay over 100$ for a face up, I want what was advertised, not some lesser version of it.
But just wait til you get yours - maybe all will be fine.

    19. Thank you for your responses! I will come back here when I get my Claude, I'm not happy my girl is a fluke but at the same time I hope she is a Fluke so that quality of Iplehouse didn't really decrease.

@Ashemanu oh I have the same problem with the face up, it's not as vibrant as the picture and it doesn't look like the picture. I chose that face up because she looked bright and cute but I received one that looks kind of sad. It's really not worth $50+

My main problem is the lips. It has a white spot in the middle, they are not teeth nor were they painted like teeth. This sculpt has no teeth either and when you look closer the white part is uneven and it wasn't part of the original face up. I don't know what happened to the artist. I threw $50 to the garbage because now I have to redo her lips and eyebrows to remove the sad expression.

I got face ups from them before, exact copy of the model with vibrant colors. Let's see how my Claude turns out, with that one I won't stay quiet if he comes the same way as my Irene.

    20. That's a shame! To be honest, I like yours better than the promo photo, haha. I don't see her as looking sad at all! To me she looks cheerful and curious. I've been in your position before though where I was unhappy with company faceups (different company though), it's no fun. I hope you can fix her to your liking!

Stella is my favorite and yours is just gorgeous. I love her with the shorter wavy hair.

    27. @Bren your Lyrios is so pretty and I love seeing her with her brother, is he human or elf Jude? Canโ€™t see his ears clearly because of that fabulous wig :chibi btw, elf Grace looks good on that NYID body (correct me if Iโ€™m wrong lol

    28. I love floating heads!:XD:
But I also hate floating heads...(because they always want a body.) :doh

      But...I still love floating heads...

    29. @Khlovera

Thank you. She is indeed on a Nyid body. And A'slan is a ELf Jude even tho his ear seem to be hiding. :sneaky

      Rhonda,

Congrats on her new arrival. And yep. Floating heads always want a body.:mwahaha

    30. @Olga Borontova - Thanks so much! :)

@Bren - Thanks! And yes they do always want a body...but...they don't always get what they want...sometimes anyhow. ;)

    31. She's really beautiful! I'm hoping to add more girls to my dolls. NS Bibiane and Vanessa are a huge want.

Yours is Marien? Looks like her pouty lips.

As for floating heads, I wish some of them would be given a new home and sell but I love most of them. Hunting bodies can be a brat though.

    32. Oh I love SartoriaJ dolls. Your Grace looks great.

    33. Thank you so much! She is a Scarlet. (who is now is a discontinued sculpt). And yes getting bodies often means I order another doll...and then I love the head that comes with it also. It's a never ending cycle...but fun!:XD:

Bibiane is a lovely sculpt too! I have a couple. What resin are you interested in getting her in?

    34. I didn't' know they had discontinued her. I thought she was still available in the Doll choice. She looks like a fiesty one that you need to keep in sight. YEP

    35. Thanks! Oh...well...I got her mixed up with...Rebecca! :doh (Scarlet was the one they 're-sculpted').
But I'm happy with her regardless. I like her smoky eyes.
Thanks for pointing out my misinformation.:)

    36. Actually I was like :ablink: :dohcause someday I would like to add her in lt brown, so when you said she was no longer made I thought dang I had run out of time, like I had with Kamau.

      • x 1
    37. Yea, I'm glad you caught that...I got her re-sculpt mixed up. My bad. Glad to know she is still out there available for more possibilities.

    40. She's beautiful. I actually saw a Scarlet on doll choice recently. I think that's only way to get her now? Much like other sculpts unfortunately.

I would like Bibiane in NS and in RS. Used to own one in RS and really regret having gotten rid of her. She was one of the ones I loved. One day I'll own quite a few of different sculpts.

      • x 1
    41. @SinsoftheSerpent - Thank you! You don't seen many Scarlet owner photos. She may be underappreciated, imo...but I've always been very fond of her.

Unfortunately, Iple hasn't added many dolls to their "Basic" line lately. Why they've seemed to stopped I haven't a clue...maybe just to 'force' someone into using Doll Choice?

Bibiane is a sculpt I didn't have for a really long time then I ordered on and then another beauty came available on the MP...So suddenly I went from not to two. I have her in PG and LB...but she's lovely in any resin.

      While I'm here....Here's mine in LB.:XD:

    43. This is a beautiful version of Bibiane...love this skintone and her makeup! Gorgeous photo too!
