I think the BIDs are about the same size as the Dollmore Dear Dolls, so Dollmore clothes should fit. I would imagine that Boneka 24 and 25 clothes also would fit (at least the dresses and stretchy things) since I have Boneka clothes on my Dear Doll Bomi.

 

My boy only arrived two nights ago (and I've been working) so I've only had the chance to try a few items on him. Currently he's wearing a t-shirt I made for my Yo-SD boy (that was a little loose).

The Ken stuff I have won't fit him, the shorts or pants at least, because he's got a robust back end.

Volks clothing (at least what I have) does not fit. The trousers are too tight in the rear, and ill fitting in the thigh. Shirt was too snug to close comfortably.

Shoes, the tennies I have from Mint on Card (M-style 4.5cm) are loose. I currently have Toby barefoot.

The only Littlefee outfit I have, will not fit him. It's the Bisou Little Bear outfit, which is TIGHT on Simon Oliver, and I couldn't even get the tights over Toby's feet.

Most of my clothes that I have, I've sewn, so I'm not sure what help I can be in regards to helping find stuff that does actually fit, from companies.

 

Pics to come but I can confirm that the following items from Nine9Style DO fit - but ALL tops need some manoeuvring (especially in the shoulder and arm department) and determination on your part to get them on xD

Twist Knit jacket(black,white) - I tried this on over a t-shirt and it looked pretty cute; I don't think it closed quite as prettily as on the preview pics though :/

Satin ribbon fur vest(black,white) - Adorable! Fits really well, but you will have to wrestle with her arms and shoulder to get it on. Once on it's really cute though

Hood muffler&one-piece(oatmeal,gray) - Fits great and looks so sweet!! (especially if you get your MSD the same one and dress them to match x3)

Shirring long onepiece(white,pink,gray) - Another one that has issues going ON to your BID, but once on looks really cute ^^ Might restrict arm movement a little; I can't really remember - looks good with pants/leggings etc.

Panty stocking(5color) - Fit quite well, because BIDs have shorter legs than most Yo-SDs they are a little long in the leg, but that's fixed by just pulling them up higher over her waist :P



Shyla is wearing the hood muffler & one-piece, the pantyhose in gray and the Yo-SD size ball boots from Nine9Style, which are a little big on her but it's not too noticeable ^^

Note: With all the shirts I found that you do have to wrestle with BID hands to get them into the sleeves, but I found this with the Iple clothing too so I think it's a normal issue that you're going to find with most items.

Shyla is wearing the twist knit jacket in white over the long onepiece (these two together restrict her arm movement!) with brown pantyhose and the pink YoSD converse all from Nine9 ^^

Quick note about the jacket; to stop the sleeves of the shirt underneath from riding up her arm and causing extra bulk around the top of her arm, and to stop her fingers poking through the holes of the knit jacket, I covered her hands with the sleeves of the gray shirt before putting her arms through the sleeves of the jacket

Has anyone tried Ann Estelle clothing or shoes on them yet?

 

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Hi guys, jumping into this thread with both feet. I have an Naias on her way, and was so afraid I wouldn't have anything for her to wear. I'm so glad to know she can share clothes with Narsha from DancingBeeDolls, thanks so much for this info!

 

after a recent face up commission I was dressing the BID for photos and I found that some of the Clochette/Pixiedust things in my collection that fit my Bambicrony also fit the BID.
Just the loose drawstring or stretchy stuff...the fitted dresses are too small around her torso.
She looked especially cute in one of these...I have a green one...the corset was a wee bit far apart in the back but sooooooo cute.

I also tried Boneka 25cm size dresses and they also fitted well.

 

Ive been using a lot of dresses and skirts from the "Groovy Girls" plush dolls. Some of them need a little adjusting with shoulder straps, but overall they fit very nice

Has anyone tried the DollinStyle clothes over on DDE? There's a cute dino hoodie set that I'm going to try with Kenny. If it doesn't work, I guess my ltf boy will have a new outfit. XP

 

Just tried on the MSD sized t-shirt in pink, white or black from nine9Style - it makes a perfect little short-sleeved sweater dress on our BIDs ^^

 

As long as its stretchy it should be fine. I have a pair or non stretch dollinstyle shorts and they baarely snap closed on my Erzulie.

 

I took the plunge on a Honey Delf outfit for my Erzulie boy (Marcus). To my pleasant surprise it fits rather well! This is the Molly set.





The shirt is a snug fit and restricts Marcus's arms a little (he can't completely touch his arms to his side) but I was able to get both the shirt and the hoodie on after removing his head first. The pants fit snugly at the waist and are a little too long, but are roomy. Marcus cannot sit in them without first undoing the snap fly.

Hope this helps for those wanting to dress their little boys Luts style!

Is there a thread where there are links for shoes, clothes, eyes and such?

 

It would be this one...we've been adding them as we find them.

For eyes, I've used both 10 and 12mm Glib Acrylics...12 in Byuri and 10 in Erzulie. I bought mine at Denver Doll (www.denverdoll.com).

 

Where is everyone finding wigs, eyes and shoes? Some 6/7 wigs I ordered are too small so can they fot 7/8 too? I want 10mm glass eyes but I can hardly find them too.

I haven't had any problems with the 6/7 wigs I've tried....right now they're both in Kemper mohair wigs in 6/7, but I've also put them in other styles in that size.

 

I'm starting to wonder if they aren't 5/6 wigs instead of 6/7 because they wont fit on Ezrulies head at all. For those with more than one BID, do they have the same size head or head shape? I was hoping that when my Efreet head came in she would fit them. I plan on ordering Elin in ebony when the CDS goes back to normal so I want to be sure that I'm ordering the correct sizes. I have found 10mm eyes but I'm spoiled by dd-anne and her glass eyes and I dont want to pay another price but I'll just have to bunker down and get them. who wears 12mm? I thought they all wore 10mm.

 

I don't have multiples, but the faceplates are interchangeable on BIDs, so I would assume that the head has to be a standard shape and size to fit all faceplates..?

Also, my Byuri wears 12mm acrylics and they're fine on her ^^

If they won't go on her head at all, they're likely a straight 6 or a 5/6...Bambicrony is a straight 6. My two girls' heads are the same size. The faceplates are interchangeable.


I use 12mms in my Byuri, the 10's are too small for my taste. 10's in the Erzulie.

And this is Athelie (Erzulie) wearing a Boneka size 24 dress. It was a little difficult to get it up over her shoulders, but once on, it fits perfectly! The little dolly is Boneka too!

Turns out that Soom Teenie Gem outfits fit perfectly! This is Aiolynn in the Dolomi LE outfit. I have the mobility joint and this outfit is short even on the Soom kids, so it did show her thigh joint off sometimes. So I put on poofy pants under it. The white boots are IH...still not brave enough to pay $40 for Soom limited shoes to see if they fit. Stoked about this though, and already picked up Ario and Argil outfits for my kids.

Yep Rosen Lied definitely fits. I got my hands on a pants/shorts set. So. Very. Cute! The snap for the waist was a little tricky to close. It's almost not big enough, but it doesn't pop open when I have her sit.

 

Does anyone know if Narsha clothes from DollMore fit these BIDs ?
I've just got an Erzulie, and am confused for what sized clothing fits I've never had a tiny doll before

 

Callum91 no Narsha clothes will not fit the BID's. Narsha is 35cm tall and the BID are 26cm tall.

 

has anyone tried Sadol clothes? There are some cute things (like this) I'd like for my kids, but I want to make sure they fit.

 

I haven't tried that specific company, but the model doll looks like Volks Yo, the one nice thing is they are nearly as thick around as the BIDs. The problem is the BIDs are proportioned differently (have a longer torso and shorter legs) which usually makes dresses a tad short.

But that's not to say all volks brand stuff will fit the BIDs. I've found that clothes made by others for Volks size, typically fit my BIDs girth, but it's always a touch to short on her.

 

I asked about fit on the Sadol Q&A & their reply is that their models are Volks YoSD dolls & that the clothes won't fit BID.

 

I had these for another doll in my collection and found they fit the BID foot. No socks, otherwise too tight. I purchased at a doll show, they were marked Monique 'Ankle Strap 44mm'.

 

Faith and Friends sneakers fit well, here they are with a sock. Not as wide looking as the black sneakers (not sure of the maker of the black shoes).

I received some Boneka dresses today - Love them!

Size 10in/24cm.

The dress fits snug in the bodice. The pinafore is hand painted (or so the listing said) I think it is very lovely. More so than I expected.

The smocked dress bodice appears to have more 'give'.


The shoes are Monique 44mm. These fit without tights or socks. They would not fit with socks.

Thank you all for the TTYA suggestion. I went out and ordered a pair of jeans and some baggy shirts for my incoming light tan Efreet boy.

I freaked out a bit when a friend told me the BIDs were sized differently than most Yo-sized dolls. I have a little boy group and most of them can share clothes. My DZ BB Jing can't wear most official Yo clothes (specifically the pants and narrow-sleeved shirts) due to his chunky-monkey body/hands but he can get into everything else.

I have a lot of knit short sets for the boys I know will work for Kōhī when he arrives - nice and stretchy.

I don't know if anyone has put this out, but I have great luck with 10" Ann Estelle shoes, both the girl and boy shoes. I love the tennies for my boys and they come in lots of colours to match their outfits. Deb's Adorables on eBay is a great place to find them: http://stores.ebay.com/Debs-Adorables

The prices are less than $11, which is definitely less than 'official' bjd shoes. She also carries socks and tights and other items. I have to use socks or tights with the dress shoes when dressing my LTF and BC girls since their feet are smaller and the buckles help keep the shoes from falling off.
