Yeah, I've been waiting for that too!! ;__; I really want them to release some 70cm boys, I just hope they make the neck size the same as the SD so you can interchange heads or something...

I guess this is the excitement of a relatively newish store... >w<

 

Oh goodness. 70cm?! D: I won't have my money for my Ryushin until then, and they're going to tempt me with a bigger doll? I don't know whether to be happy or scream. XD

It is a beautifull body. Unfortunately the body is a bit to muscular to fit in to my crowd. Very curious about the heads though.

 

A 70cm??? From Iplehouse???? Part of the Noctarcana Circus???? My wallet is DOOMED. D: I better start saving then! The body looks very muscular so I guess it depend on what the head looks like. ^^

 

I think they are going to make a "Normal" Body too, it seems that that is the "superhero" body..

holy crap! that is one buff dude-im trying really hard not to get excited here since the past few times i do that its lead to disappointment. i can't wait for the headmold, i LOOOVE mature guys...and it's time i actually got one, lol

 

Whoa. Like, whoa o_O. Until I see the face sculpt, I'll stick with primed 24 year olds for the time being . Good thing about iple is they might sell bodies separately!

 

Now that is a manly man body! I wish he were 60cm. I reeeeeeally don't need a boy that tall. He wouldn't fit into my collection very well. But God, for a body like that, I might make an exception!

Though I still wish they would come out with an MSD boy.... T.T

 

I'd like to see that body in addition to or instead of the current 62cm muscle body. The torso and arm definition is lovely! Unfortunately, I've already tried mixing 70cm heights in pic-taking with minis, and it's just a bit too much to deal with, so my wallet is safe -- this time!

But since they claim they're coming out with a whole new line of sized wigs, clothing and shoes, with that musculature, maybe there'll be more options to use on the biggest guy I'll still go with, my UD Real.

Very curious about the heads, too. They say they're going to be bigger in proportion as well.

The physique pix state in the Q&A that they were still tweaking the body after the shots were taken. I wonder if the joint connectors are really as recessed as they seem, or if that was just something done for the pictures, like the way they shaded out the knee joints for the mini girls when in a kneeling position.

 

Damnit, those shoulders.

From what can be seen from the pics, assuming those lips are from the new head sculpt, this is going to be one good looking guy! Maybe it'll be a sexier, manlier, older version of Barron? *crosses fingers*

 

I hope he weight a lot! I like my Sard but he is soo light-weighted, I want someone sturdy

Gorgeous sculpt, but with 28.7cm waist and 21cm thighs (the size of most larger dolls waists) that guy is going to look like a giant next to other dolls and weigh a TON!

I love the detail on the body, I'm just unsure if he would fit in with the rest of my family. lol As you can see from my signature, Iplehouse kind of owns my bank account.

In reference to the Circus, I guess this guy will be the "Strong Man". The height and look are perfect for him. Now they just need to create a body a little slimmer at the same height.... ^^

 

Gah... this body is gorgeous... it's the type of body I would love to give Siegfried if I ever decided to buy him a larger body modelled after his appearance in the Soul Calibur games

I wonder how the body will look when clothed though... I do like all the muscle on the body, but I don't like it when the clothes cling to the muscles too much and end up looking too tight for the body

Any idea how soon this will be up for sale? I'm wondering if the large shoes Luts has been putting up with the SSD's will fit. They have the one's that fit their SSD and even bigger ones also. Wondered about that at the time.

How about resin colors? White and normal? Do they have both available when new comes out or do we have to wait?

My thoughts exactly. 70cm is a LOT of resin, but that's one gorgeous body!!!

If he had those proportions and was about 60cm I'd be soooooo happy!

Still, it probably won't stop me from getting one, and who knows? Maybe MEN will finally be "the thing" for BJD companies to release.

 

here I am trying to justify buying a minime body for a Kakashi head (Naruto) but this might just be better. IF the minime head fits!
I need to wait for the body anyway but this is just a lovely view, really, lovely!

Though I'm deterred by the size and the quite muscular definition, I'm really looking forward to how the heads will look..

W00t w00t! Holy filet-mignons, isn't he a beautiful bit of work!! Wowza! I was kinda hoping they'd do a mini boy first, but waaa, I sure wouldn't kick this outta bed if he was to arrive in, say, tan resin. With a tanned Barron head on top.... But let's not get ahead of ourselves here. First we have to see who Mr. Noctarcana is, and what his head looks like! Do you all think Strongman, or Lead Acrobat? With those excellent hip-rotator cuffs, I bet he can do the splits like Tatiana & Tania can.

Mainly, I'm really eager to see what kind of engineering advances they've worked into this body! I notice they've raised the chest-joint & made it fit flush, and removed the waist joint altogether (following the lead of the JID girls). The hip-rotator cuffs can only mean amazing leg mobility, so he wouldn't need rotating thighs to cross his legs. But I am wondering if he'll be able to even sit with his legs together, they're so meaty! Also, since I notice there's no shoulder-rotator cuffs, so I wonder if his arms will have limited mobility, like the current Muscle body does. But the knees & elbows look smoother and more flush than ever before, too; wonder what they've done inside there, if there's more or less mobility.

...! OK! Whoa! If anybody has been struggling to put Mr. EID's staggering new measurements into perspective, there you are.

And forget about the 60cm comparisons for a moment, even. Regarding other muscleman bodies currently on the market, I will see Iplehouse's assessment, and raise them another mindblower: EID's thighs (21 cm) are bigger around than the 65cm Volks SD16 Yukinojo's waist (20.5 cm).

How about the love they put into sculpting EID's back muscles, too? The slope of his neck into his shoulders, it's much more relaxed & lifelike than ever before. And the curve of the small of his back, just above his bum, it's nearly heartbreaking.... I can't wait to see the whole man!

Awww shucks. I love this body, but there's no way he'll ever fit into my planned dollie family with the role I could use him for. (He'd tower over his sister by 14 cm. )

Those of you planning on putting different heads on him though.... He looks like he's got a rather thick neck, which might mean that most heads won't fit without some modding.

And also, it has to be a fairly big head to avoid a pin-headed look. (wearing 9-10 inch wigs, most likely) As Iplehouse stated, the new head they're working on is about an inch more in circumference than their regular heads, and it looks just in proportion as it is...

But daymn. I like what I see. Maybe I can work around this.... height issue.

 

Bear in mind that the current YID heads run REALLY small, though! Narrow, and also small-featured. So if EID's head will be bigger by comparison, that probably means he can just wear more standard-sized 9-10 heads. Maybe this just means that it'll finally be easier to swap other companies' heads onto an Iplebody. (Until now, its skinny neck & small frame have made it a difficult match with many other heads.)

EID would sadly look kinda silly with one of the old narrow, small-featured sculpts, like Soo Ri or Lion. But I'm wondering if he could still get away with a Barron or Aaron head, since those 2 are almost broad-featured enough to look too big for the Model body. You wouldn't want too much of a big pumpkinhead, though... Slender male dolls look better with larger heads, but superhero-shaped men have little pinheads with big features. For this new sculpt, I'm really eager to see if they'll make him into a delicate-faced muscleman, or give him heavier features.

PS. If not Circus Strongman or Lead Acrobat... then how about a Lion Tamer?

 

Bless you. You said it exactly as I was thinking it. He is absolutely perfect. The veins on his arm and hand are KILLING me. I'm just floored. What about the hipbones and the six pack?

And have any of you paid attention to the head on the body?? His lips and nose are beautiful. I cannot wait to see all of him. Cannot WAIT. I haven't been this excited about a new boy coming out in a loooong loooong loooong while.

I got an heavy resin man (unidoll Ark) here already at home, but looking at the measurement of this new guy. Wow he will be huge and heavy o_0

Oh my, 21 cm thigh? Ark's thigh is 17cm which is already thicker then my wrists. Good luck finding clothes for him, I think even the dollshe and modeldoll clothes will be very thight.

"The circumference of waist is 28.7cm." Auch, I really hope Iplehouse meant chest else the waist will be bigger then my Ark's chest XD.

 

the 12th-13th?! That's so soon! I hope they release the standard version before Christmas, cause I think I'm out of the running for the Noctarcana Circus version. I can't wait to see his face either, he looks like he's going to be a handsome sculpt from the neck up as well
