Introduction: Hello, Den of Angels!

I'm not completely new to this hobby, but still a newbie anyways haha.

I've been fascinated with BJDs since I was 10 years old (2016-2017) but my family couldn't affort me one so I just kinda forgot about their existence after 2-3 years to "grow up" and focus on studying. Up until now, I have my own job which can support my hobbies, daily life and stuffs, I finally have spare money to affort one (or more)! However, my favourite brand has been collapsed (Yeah, it's DoD...) and it's such a bummer, affording one is nearly impossible now(ಥ﹏ಥ).

Btw, MSD white skin is my favourite selection. My first doll is from Gem of Doll, and her head model is Coco. She's actually unplanned, but I still love her so much! I'm waiting for the second, which is a MSD Cornflower from Coral Reef, to arrive this Feb/March.

I intend to handmade all of their face-ups, clothes and wigs. It's kinda time-consuming but it makes me feel like love them more and more everyday.

it's true, back to 2016-2017, most of the BJD collectors I knew were Vkei or anime fans, but now as the community is more large and easy to reach, they are much more dynamic, even in my local area.

BTW, thank you for your recommendation of D.O.D's dealer! Their price is pretty out of my budget right now but I definitely will save up and buy one when time has come. D.O.D is literally my youth it would be such a waste if I couldn't have one in my life.

 

Hi! I'm so glad to see another Coco's owner here (*≧∀≦*) My first priority right now is to make a new wig for Coco first 'cause she has been bald for a while, and after that I'd try to sew some dresses for her. Cornflower hasn't arrived, yet I need his accurate body measurement before doing anything for him since his proportion is slightly different from regular MSD dolls (he's 5% bigger I suppose?). But maybe I'll try learning to face-up on my old dolls so when he's arrived I can draw his face myself!
