Large Introducing Aurora (Resinsoul Mi)

Getting Aurora has lit up my creativity! After getting her I modded her bust slightly, restrung and hot glue sueded her, gave her a face-up, and made eyes from scratch.

After all that, I'm so in love.

 

Thank you! Yes it is. I love the look of it because it's very ethereal and perfect for her. The joints themselves fit perfectly together and the resin quality is great. Her thinness does make her difficult to stand, she definitely needs sueding. Her arms don't hold poses all that great, so I'm probably going to wire them on top of the sueding at some point. Overall I'm very happy though, she's what I was expecting with such a thin profile.

Thank you! I knew I wanted it to be super blue. She's got some pearly shimmer too but it doesn't show up in photos very well, lol.

Yup! Definitely agree, hot glue is such a low stress fix lol. When I used it to suede Aurora she went from very difficult to stand to fiddly but not nearly as frustrating. Still haven't gotten around to the wire though, lol. Maybe some day.
