So, these two have a super long and involved backstory, but basically, Theo (right) just came back from a year away with a completely new body. Mi'kael is getting used to it.



(Just found these pics on my camera!) This is a more recent timestamp, when Theo had been missing for 80ish years (he was having trouble with his memory) and Mi'kael finally found him again. (They're old. Theo's, like... 200,000 years old, and he snagged Mi'kael along for the immortal ride about 2,000 years ago. It's complicated.) Suffice it to say, there was a death grip involved for a few weeks after this

 

Not romantic, but a nice, cuddly moment all the same.

A different kind of intimate moment. What is more intimate than memories of a lost loved one?
Background: I took a short series of pictures and it was only after I had started I realized what I had subconsciously done. I'd started the scenario with a 'lonely child' in a chair, no longer draped with the lovingly made cushions and throws. They had been taken by the greedy selfish sister-in-law of the woman who had made them. The woman was dead and she wanted them disregarding the young daughter who had loved to sit with her mother in the chair and cuddle. ... This was part of a back story to go with 2 of my dolls. The next set of shots was of the girl setting up in a corner a table with her mother favorite 'purple' lamp a picture of her mother and a bud vase she place 2 roses in... one for her and one for her mother. This is the intimate moment "Jessica" spent with her memories of her mother. In a special place someone encouraged her to make. Here she pauses to gaze at a face she will never see again.



I had set out doing these pictures just days after the one year anniversary of the passing of my own mother and had not quite realized it until I was half way into the set up. The lamp and mini vase are both from my mom ^^. One day (when I have better props I will re-do this set up. ^^

 

This intimate moment is the twins, reunited after a long time apart. They had to rediscover each other and get back their twin-ness. The one in the shirt is the older twin.

In fact, he slipped a hand down her skirt when we first put them together. x.x Thankfully he cleaned things up a bit and resulted in some great snuggle moments.
