Many things, lad. The beautiful crimson fountain of a freshly-slashed throat. The burn in the back o' ye eyes from the sweetness o' rum. The cold delicious flesh o' the grave. Even the thrush singin' as I make me way home gladdens me poor ol' heart.

I live me life as I please, and me life pleases me just as it is.

I've ha' many a job. The thievery for one, then the killin's. I also had ones the righ' side of the law- grave-diggin', mortuary work.
