International BJD Artist Assn Workshop-Retreat 2008 / Scholarships Info

We're doing it again! Last year was so much fun.

We asked everyone what they'd love to see and it was molding/ casting, headsculpting and airbrushing with LilyKoi. So we have them all coming.. thanks so much for your interest.

They will give a discount to everyone attending. The great thing is you can get a room with a sofa bed sleeper and two can stay for one price. We had lots of room sharing last year and it was very comfortable. Each room also has a full kitchen. You just don't get daily maid service-- easy trade off, because you won't be there much at all.

There are no individual criteria for each scholarship. However we feel the judges will most likely select winners who they feel are excellent in their own ways. So the more things you can show the judges, the better! (I won't be a judge this time around...). I think most judges will be looking for really original and well-executed art. So don't play it safe-- have fun and show us what you got!

You don't have to have experience to attend, just the desire to learn and create. It's a long weekend and you have to be able to sit and work for three days.. and we are also asking everyone to be at least 21 because we have a party on Saturday and you never know what might be in the bubbling cauldrons.. LOL.^^
