SO. I had a mod a long long time ago that became a cluster of mixed media from la-doll and epoxy and everything.... Here's his head. His name is Resner. (he's on a dollzone gene body) I'd been in a tough but loving relationship with him because it was a large learning curve of "best practice" for complicated mods and work (just use epoxy don't mix medias please learn from me and tamiya primer reacts WEIRDLY on la-doll do NOT use it lol). So here's the OG Resner in his unfinished but still lovely glory next to his son's innards. I will tell you right now that I'm using Scupley Grey and it's like the godliest clay I've ever used. I got a recommendation to use it from a garage kit artist on Japanese twitter. Please if you sculpt with Scupley try this stuff you will never go back to skintone or white. Here I am deciding on Jaw and mouth shapes I realize I chose a really weird method of building but this was so I could compare sizes of everything as I go because it'a easier to see the shapes on a smaller scale. This was my first bake so it's kind of at a weird half "faceplate" stage right now and I can gently modify the features as needed and bake for small portions of time before I put large chunks of clay in the back etc. Stay tuned for like....well until next month.... when I get back to it after finals!
