Theme Interesting finds our dolls can use!

My Pukifee, Pip With A Twist, has a Pokemon, too. (Don't tell Piknik ;))

This is a 3.5 inch violin...It's too small for a Pukifee, but it works out alright.

I know how violins are supposed to be held, so it's just me nitpicking. My issue is that because my Pukifee can't hold it by the neck very well, she wouldn't be able to pizzacato.

That's a BRATZ doll guitar! It came as a double-toy, it can be flipped over to turn into a violin.

I've decided to take the violin-part off and I glued a little magnet into the neck and into the base of the guitar, and Pip looks REALLY good with it! She can hold it like you could actually hold a guitar!

I am going to glue a magnet into the middle of the guitar as well so she can string it. Right now, she is just grasping it by the side. ;)

The clothes Pip is wearing here are also BRATZ doll brand. Some of the shirts fit just fine, some are tight, and some won't fit at all. It depends. The pants fit her and look baggy, but it's a really cute look, especially here, where Pip is being a ROCKABILLY! :fangirl:

The bead in Pip With A Twist's hair is just a pony bead I put on a ribbon and clipped to her wig with a barrette.

The choker around Pip's neck is a part of a phone charm. I took the charm off and looped it around Pip's neck so that the metal clasp was showing, so it looked like a collar. It's soooo cute! Love my Rockabilly Pip!

That's a Nubanded YoSD skirt I got from Etsy. I took it on around the back of the skirt and sewed in a shoelace to make sleeves. Now it is a Pukifee dress ;)

Yeah...I still got more things to share.

    2. [IMG]

Those are chapsticks. They're HUGE as cupcake props, but what kid DOESN'T want a HUGE cupcake??

It worked out alright for a Lolita-style shoot, but it wouldn't look proportionate as a food in the background of a shot because it's really big....:sweat It'd be better for a YoSD!

I don't have these chapsticks anymore because my cat stole them and played with them. They're underneath my refrigerator now >____<+++

When people say Barbie & Ken stuff works for Littlefee, they mean it. Showing off the Littlefee-in-Ken-Clothes LOVE! They fit even better than Barbie stuff!!

That's it!!! Yup! Can't remember if I've shared this stuff before....hmm...

    3. [IMG]

The little tea set is from Uwajimaya. The teapot was on its own, the cups are actually sake cups, and I have no idea what the tray is actually for, but it's also from there.

They're kind of big, might work better with a taller SD (Tohru's only around 56cm). I don't mind though. I have no idea where the sushi tray set came from, although I'm guessing it's one of those "eraser" sets. Same with the little cookie/cake/ice cream sandwhich/whatever it is the little guy's got.

The soda can, however, I believe is actually a candy container.

    4. Anthropologie has tiny mitten ornaments right now that fit SD girls. They're amazingly in scale and look like nice high end mittens... I'll post a picture with my girl wearing them when I get the chance (I got the cream ones).

    5. I went to the craft store Michaels yesterday in search of beading supplies and came out with this adorable Christmas bag. It originally went with a personalised Christmas ornament bell. I think it looks absolutely perfect for an MSD sized doll. The best part about it is that the bag was only 99 cents!

    6. Two finds in one pic! A leather looking pet bed that is a wonderful couch shape, and two little stuffed animals I got at target.

And Riley wants to be an artist and I found this small easel on sale at the craft story ^_^

    7. I got a locker chandelier at Hallmark that works perfectly with BJDs. It comes in white and black. I only got a white one. Here's some pictures of it with a Volks MSD.

The lights really work but I don't have any batteries :sweat

    8. I found teeeeeny tiny dice today! Ophelia here (MSD - Leeke Mikhaila - forgive her lack of faceup. Still haven't gotten to it) is holding 5 of them. And they were only $0.20 each!

    9. I don't think these are posted on here. Two little chairs from Claire's. They were only $4.50 each.
Here's them with a Resinsoul Bei (left), and a Bisou ai UU (right).

    10. So, I know that the BFC Ink clothing has been mentioned before but since then I believe there have been some more clothing released and I bought 5 different outfits from them (through Amazon, most seem to be at least a little cheaper than what you could find in a store, you might even be able to find them for cheaper on eBay or something similar). All of the outfits are from the large 18in collection-- they fit MSDs quite well. Two of the outfits I bought the actual doll the outfit came on and the three others are from accessory packs. All of the outfits came with shoes but they are far too large to fit on an MSD, they might fit best on an SD. I also modeled the four female outfits on the two different female dolls I have because they are somewhat different in size (as you will see).

      All five outfits:

Oliver in the only male outfit available (had to buy the boy doll for this)

The outfit on the left I had to buy the doll for as well
      [IMG]

As you can see, the clothes fit a bit better on Arabella (the IH Tatiana on the right) but a little pinning could easily fix that. Overall, the clothes are nicely made and each comes with a functional purse or backpack of some sort.:)

    11. Okay found some more things for my dolls recently :)
I was looking at the Pottery Barn website a few days ago and came upon these: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/sculptural-chair-objects/?pkey=chome-office-objects
They are metal with a black coating, decently well made but only $16 for a chair (and free shipping)
I bought two of the Windsor model, you can choose any sort of mix of them. They fit my MSDs pretty well, might work for a larger tiny even better but here are some comparison photos:

I also found this dollie-sized trunk at Walmart, it's quite nicely made, it even includes a set of keys to lock it. It could store quite a bit and also could be used as a seat. It was found in the office supplies aisle, they had a bigger size too but it was see-through and if I remember correctly it was glittery. The one I bought is meant to hold 3x5 cards. The company is Vaultz (if you can't read it on the first picture).

And last but not least, I found a car that would fit an MSD at Walmart, I didn't have enough money to buy it (it was $40 and in the clearance aisle so I don't know what the availability would be everywhere)

    12. For the record, Kielin, those wardrobes are $38. I used to work at Build A Bear. :) I think I have a picture somewhere of my MSD in front of one. I'll go looking.

      Edit: Found it!

    13. Was at Toys R Us yesterday, looking for the Blind Pack MLP. They are the perfect size for a Yo-SD sized doll. I also found tiny plush princess dolls!

Pardon Jade being bald and blank. She just arrived today.

    14. It's not perfectly SD sized, but it's close enough and it was free. I found this chair out by the dumpster at my old apartment.

    15. Holiday Haul! Whilst in Florida, I picked up a few things for my resin kids:

The Arondack chairs are perfect for PKF/Lati Yellow, so are the little Iwako Eraser animals and the flocked bears. Found them at AC Moore (wish we had one of those around here!) The Eraser food, (also found at Ac Moore) Rocker and tea set are perfect for MSD size- found them at a flea market in Fl. The Micro Lala I got at Walmart.

    16. ItsyBitsy makes sterling silver jewelry with small accents :) their size 6 rings are perfect for Delf girls.
The charms on the necklaces and earrings are all perfect sizes as well!
Just expect to pay a pretty penny (20-60$ a piece) unless you can find it on sale!

    17. Got another Hearts For Hearts pajama set and wanted to show how it fits an MSD and also found that a few of the Hearts For Hearts outfits can also fit a Petite Ai.

Bobobie Mini (left) wearing purple pajama set. The tops a bit tight and will not fit a MSD that's any bigger then her without having to move the Velcro. Customhouse Petite Ai (right) wearing Indian set. I honestly didn't think it would fit a Petite Ai since it fits an MSD but I was wrong. The shirt and ribbon belt are a bit big.

Petite Ai wearing just the shirt from the Indian set.

Petie Ai wearing purple pajama set.

    18. One of the HomeGoods near me had amazing jewelry boxes. You can see them in these pictures.
The black case in this picture with the purses etc, hanging from the hooks inside. It also came in a dark brown that might have looked better with the "dresser" which came from a wine bottle gift set.

And there was also this distressed blue dresser type box with great big drawers for clothes and such and a mirror under the lid of the top.

    19. Found a another cap gun at the grocery store, but this time for the bigger dolls. It's a bit big for my SD dolls, and would probably work best with a 70cm doll.
      Cap gun in package.

Also got a key chain Jack in the Box from a doll shop, made by the company "Basic Fun"
Jack in the Box in package.
Jack in the Box with a MSD (on left), and Yo-SD (on right)

Edit: totally for got I also got two cap gun key chains from Dollar General. they are made by the same company as the above cap gun.
Cap gun key chains with key chain part removed.
Cap guns with SD (left), MSD (rigth), and my cat's butt, and tail (back left). According to my brother the silver gun on the left is not really in scale, as a real gun of that type would be much smaller.
Note SD is also wearing a BFCink tank top

    20. For those thirsty In-N-Out Burger fans of the resin variety, check out the nifty antenna topper!

      Refreshing! ;)

    21. Bad cellphone picture but...

      Scale: SD
      Tray: Uwajimaya
      Teapot: Uwajimaya
"Tea" cups: Sake cup from Uwajimaya
Sushi tray: Picked up from a meet. Probably an eraser set
Pipe: ebay find. It's actually a ear pick/cleaner thing!
"Sake cup" that's being unceremoniously used as an ashtray: Not a clue. It was in with a bunch of stuff that I'm keeping for a friend.

    22. Went to Stein Mart today and saw some stuff that may work with BJDs. All the picture were taken with my phone so they are not the best.

First a beautiful dog bed that looked the right size for SD. It was $70.

Next a leopard print couch. It was about 3 feet long and 1 foot deep. Looked like could be used for 60cm or 70cm dolls. It was $60.

And lastly this pet bed. It looked much to deep for any of my dolls, but might work with a 70cm+ doll. I didn't look to see the price.

    23. Went to Friendly's for lunch today. Last place I'd expect to find something for the dolls, yet:

<3 It's a super cute plastic souvenir sandcastle sundae cup! The top lifts off, and it's hollow inside for the ice cream (or now trinkets, etc.). The little shovel is actually the spoon for it; there's an indentation in the "sand" on one side of the base for it to stand in, and the other three sides feature different colors/types of 3D seashells. It's much more detailed than my bad flash pic shows. My MSD and Yo-size dolls have claimed it as you can see, but I think it'd look cute with pretty much any size doll (I can imagine a bunch of playful Pukis climbing on it :3). They're just $3.99 ($1.99 with a kids' meal...that is if you can manage to persuade your kid to give it up XD)!

    24. I finally have an awesome find!
My mnf goes to an alchemy school, so this stove, found at the Vermont Country Store for about $25 was perfect for her: (pans were included with the stove, but the bottles I bought separate)

    25. The picture is pretty terrible, but I found a bicycle and carriage combo in MSD size!

I've also found some little oil lanterns, but I need to clean them up first. They seem like they'll be adorable in the end, though. I have miniature glass eggs somewhere, too, for Easter. I usually hit up antique stores and estate sales to find these kinds of things. c:

    26. So! I... don't know what these are called, actually. But I went to my local Asian market (Mitsuwa) and found these little caramels that come with a second box... that has a tiny wooden toy in it! They're about $3 for each set of caramels/toy(s) and they're PERFECTLY YoSD sized. So much love!

There's a bunch of them with my CD Chubby. They're AWESOME.

    27. Went to Walmart today and found two things!!!

Little Dolly with rocking horse, called "Teeny Babies". Was on sale for $1.50. They also had one with a little swing, and one with a little crib. Pictured with a Yo-SD.

Next is a candelabra for birthday cakes. It was $1.00. It has a stem on the bottom that needs to be cut off. Pictured with a SD.

    28. Got an SD sized witch hat at Walmart.

    29. Around this time you can find a lot of dolly sized hats. They're just 'mini' human hats that people wear for a cute effect on their costume. My advice ( and what I normally do ) is check ANY halloween supply store, and stores that sell Halloween things like Walmart, Party City, and even the Dollar Store. Here's a couple pics I have of some of the mini hats on my dolls. : ) ( I have way too many hats and these are only some of them.. haven't taken pictures of all of them. I love going to halloween stores when they put everything on sale afterwards, it's a better deal then when you find them for cheap. : D )

    30. Hello Everyone, I'm new to this thread and this is my favorite thread so far...you all have such great finds and I love seeing all your pictures. I got a cute chair for my Yosd, I got it from Value Village but you can buy them at boutique stores and I know Bittersweet Jewellery here in Toronto used to carry them because the chair is actually a jewellery box, you just lift up the seat part, but my Ella looks so cute in her chair, enjoy :)

    31. Haven't taken it off its card to photograph with my guys, but it looks like a good size for an MSD... found it at Hot Topic.

I think my aunt found Vince's sombrero at a Goodwill, I don't think I've had a good photo of it before.

The laundry hamper comes from Ichiban Kan in Japantown SF, the shirt was one of two XS dog shirts from PetSmart.

    32. Got a super cute sewing set made by "Our Generation" the sets called "dress making accessory set" Kid Delf for scale. I got mine from Tuesday Morning, but it should be at target as well. Here the link to the Target add for it.

    33. [IMG]
I took a picture of the things I've found recently for my dollies :D

-Purple Sleeping bag from a local toy store. It's Only Hearts Club.
-Pumba warthog from McDonalds. I just found it in my room...
-Endtable from Michael's Crafts, hiding in the wood section.
-A Christmas Story "Leg Lamp" and guitar are ornaments from Kmart.
      -Chair from Michaels- on sale!
-Shelves I picked up at a Goodwill
-Ponies are from the little MLP Mystery Bags- I got two ponies not even in the show -_- but they're still cute!
-Kitty Lounging Chair- Claire's store. They're for cell phones? I think Mira makes better use of it ;)
-Dolly's Dolly carriage- A pack of three in the baby shower gifts aisle in Dollar Tree!
      -Doll Carriage doll- 2 for a dollar a Michael's. They're erasers.
-Tinies dresses- the pink and green ones are both Barbie Kelly doll- the green from the old dolls the pink from the new.
-Tiny on the warthogs shirt is a Barbie Tommy doll baseball shirt, and he's got an American Girl Bitty Baby/Bitty Bear hat on.

    34. I finally have a good find to add here!
House Warmings here in the Toronto 'burbs sells these little tea lights that come in ceramic bowls- that are a good size for SDs. They're about 6cm in diameter, and 3.5cm tall. They were a very reasonable $3 each. :)

And empty after setting them in a bowl of near boiling water. The candles just pop right out after they've sat for maybe 20 seconds.

    35. These are real pumpkins!!
They're called "Mini Jacks" or "Mini Pumpkins" :) Super cute, not super flat like the typical ones look. No idea if these are carvable though.
They're 2 for 1$ at Meijer right now. I imagine other super stores have them too, though :P
      [IMG]

    36. Got a tiny Rubik's Cube from Party City for 59 cents.
Little Rubik's Cube with Yo-SD, SD, and MSD.

I also got a little blowup "Rody" at a toy store called "Toy Joy" in Austin TX. Price: $19.95
      [IMG]
      Yo-SD on Rody.

      MSD on Rody.

    37. In Walgreens I saw some 10" plush cheerleader dolls where the outfits seemed to be removable (yes, I darn near undressed the doll right there in the store to see, LOL). **These outfits look like they would fit a slim MSD type doll.** The price runs about $10 for the doll w/outfit. These can also be found at Amazon. Type in small plush cheerleader doll. Beware though... there were some larger ones also in the store and these can also be found at Amazon... so you want to avoid ones where the description says large and not small, or look for the size to say 10". Here's a sampling of the outfits... so your favorite team should be somewhere just look for 'em!!
(P.S. the small 10" one don't have shoe lace holes or shoelaces, but the larger ones do, which is a good way to tell 'em apart in pics).

    38. I found a chair that could work for tinies, you could add a cushion or just snip the front shorter with scissors it costs £1 at poundworld and is called an egg chair. [IMG]

    39. Warning really horrible cellphone photos!!

Hobby Lobby has some really cool Christmas ornaments out right now.

First a bunch of food that looks like they could work with SD or MSD:
Bowl of red stuff (soup maybe.
      Plate of Sandwiches
      [IMG]
      Sushi.
      Hamburger and fries basket.
      Pancake and french toast.

Dart Board might work in a BJD room.
Tool kit looks about MSD sized to me.
Tiny clarinet (hanging off bottom of ornament) might work with really tiny BJDs.
Boots (a pair) might fit SD.
More boots (also a pair) look like they would fit SD.

      Edit:
Totally forgot, they also had MSD sized shoes. They are just like the normal key-chain shoes, so they are all left feet, but still super cute.

There was also a few other colors.

    40. Found some cool stuff during DOA's down time.

Circo outfit for 8 inch baby dolls on Yo-sd. I think Circo is a Target only brand but could be wrong.

Another Hearts for Hearts outfit on resinsoul double jointed body, just to show how this particular outfit fits.

Green fuzzy legwarmer as an SD dress (note: i added the belt)

      Halloween butterfly wings from Walmart.

    41. [IMG]
wine bottle clothing, the sweater fits a MSD!

got the tip from someone locally

    42. Got a "yarn Beverage Coozie" from Target for $3.00 that can be used as a MSD dress or skirt. The puff ball ranging off can also be made into a headband with a little bit of 20 gauge wire.

    43. [IMG]
keychain slippers for my yosd, came with a pink and blue one. so i got 2 packs and have 2 pairs of slippers now.

ringwatch for my MSD, not sure about getting it over hands since he is a withdoll and his hands are on with magnets. works but i don't have it on.

    44. I had found this awesome steam trunk (fitted with leather straps and copper braces) that I was going to use for Airi's carrying case.. alas, me being new and without a ruler.. she is too tall.

However! She did get a closet, a new hat (was in the drawer) and a teddy! $5 :fangirl:

    45. To all the food eraser lovers out there: Target has really cheap food erasers in the party section. A bag of 12 erasers for only $2.00.

    46. Super cute Target Christmas ornaments. They make great little stuffed friends for BJDs, and only $2.00 each.
Pictured with Yo-SD. Both Yo are wearing "Circo" outfits that are also from Target.

    47. Hasbro has One Direction dolls that come with a microphone that can be used for MSD. Their clothes also can fit some Yo.

      My Kid Delf using microphone.

    48. I am amazed at some of the things you guys are finding. I can't wait to venture out and find similar goodies for my small group : D

I haven't seen too much Lalaloopsy stuff here, but the Fashion Pack clothes for them fit my Luts honey delf Lolly sooooo well (excluding the shoes of course)!

As said before, the arms are a liiittle snug, so they can't go flat to her sides, but it's a small price to pay for an $8 outfit in my opinion : D

    49. "Elf Magic Elves" clothes fit Yo-sd quite well (pants are a bit long).
I got the "everything posh" set (left) and the "funky chic" set (right).

Other stuff they came with: shoes that are massively to big, the outfit on the left came with a head band that's too small, and the outfit on the right came with a zebra stripe scarf, and a little bag.

    50. I found this cute chair for my Ella as well, $3.00 at Value Village - yeah :)

    51. I got some little bracelets from Jo-ann Fabrics that work as belts for MSDs. They cost $1.00 each. They had black, white, purple, pink, red, and blue bracelets.

    52. This is not my idea nor is it a new idea, but in case someone hasn't heard or or hasn't thought of it, this is a great idea for storing your wigs!! Smoothfoam balls!! Now these aren't the Styrofoam balls that are scratchy and stick to your dolls wigs like velcro (trust me I know, this is what I bought when I first heard of the idea years ago), but a smooth styrofoam. They come in several different sizes. Hobby Lobby (both online & in store) has more of a selection than Michael's, and I couldn't find them with Michaels online. I didn't check locally, but JoAnne's online carries them also. I use the 2" ones in my 6/7 wigs, and the 2.5" ones work well in my 8/9 wigs (the 3" were too big in my 8/9 wigs). If you get them, just be sure to not inadvertently pick up the scratchy Styrofoam ones. You want the smooth Smoothfoam ones. The link provided includes both Styrofoam and Smoothfoam as I couldn't sort, so double check. I remember once someone saying they made some kind of "wig tree" using these. If I ever find the right kind of "tree" to stick the balls on for this sort of created storage project I'll be sure to post.

    53. Yay to Hobby Lobby! I found three little doll props!

First off a little chalk/dry erase board. (kitty drawing not included ;))
It comes in three sizes, small (that looked like it would work perfect for teeny tiny dolls), medium (as pictured, which is perfect for Yo and MSD), and large (that looked like it would work for SDs). The medium sized board cost $3.99.

Next up is a little trunk, that costs $5.99. (Which I think may have already been posted in this thread by another user, but I'm no sure.)

Little trunk with MSD and Yo. (trunk also in picture above)

And last but not least a small basket that cost $3.99.

    54. I found all this at my local Party City! Fairies, Minnie, and Mickey coloring books, Rubik Cubes in Cars, Fairies, and normal, and little school books and notepads!

    55. Tuesday Morning has Little Miss Matched Gloves, some of which can be used for BJD dresses.

I got one of every color of this style. They are $3.99, and come in sets of three.

They fit SD really well. (fits MSD as well but doesn't look that great)

Next are these two styles. I think they were about $5.00, and came in packs of two.

Glove on MSD. (I was also able to get the stretchier of the two gloves on a SD)

I also got some adorable pastel striped gloves, but they look rather potato sack like on an MSD, and are to tight to get on an SD.

    56. I found this garden bench
