Interesting BJD-making tutorials

Thanks for sharing... I would love the have one of the Yoshida books.

 

The Yoshida Books can be purchased for Hobby Link Japan (google it!) for less than $40. It's worth the weight in gold- AND ships in about a week!

yes, but the pictures are big and colourful and easy to understand

 

The photographs are practically explanatory in themselves, although you always get the feeling that there may be some pearls of wisdom hidden from you in the japanese text.
I think that with a little planning and a reasonable idea of what you want to produce already set in your mind this book would be a big help to you when planning to make your own BJD.
Personally, i have been planning for about 18 months but have'nt found the time to set aside for the project yet.....i am hoping that a long planning stage will mean i won't fall at the first hurdle!

Yoshida is an artist that has been around yearS ...I mean decades

I have had to order a second copy ....my Mum is driving me NUTs for a copy LOL

she was very helpful ..she even sugested the book may not be suitable for me as I sculpt tinys
