Theme Insect BJDs

Nympheas dolls has caterpillars and Quirky Qritters on Etsy has various insect bjds, but they are not basically human with bug features, they are anthropomorphized bugs. Here are some.

Charles creature Cabinet has an adorable bee - BeWithMe! I have one in yellow resin. Dream High Studio had a bee and a ladybug, too, released quite a long time ago. I have the SIO 2 caterpillar/ silk worm. Mouton de Sucre also has quite a few insects, including a bee. I think its Dream Valley that had a wasp and maybe also a praying Mantis if I remember correctly! I love both your dolls, especially the moth!

 

Dream Valley had 1/4 mantises (Rita & Freya)! And I also came across Coral Reef's little mantises when searching for them (who are extremely adorable - but I think off topic. Coral Reef has plenty of bigger bug girls, too, though).

 

I am loving this thread because I've been trying to build my own bug family after becoming obsessed with Bug Fables. I didn't even know that Soom moth existed! What a cutie, I'm in love.

Mishi's Doll Bee Happy is an adorable little sculpt, so cute I had to get three of them. She's...I think...7cm tall? Itty Bitty! You can order through her instagram.

Coral reef has a 1/4 doll called "Mantis". She is very cool looking

 

Doll Chateau made these really pretty, limited scorpions a couple years ago /threads/doll-chateau-scorpio-dolls-pluto-charon-limited-30-worldwide.792241/ I never ordered one, but always thought they were really neat looking.

 

In case anybody is currently looking, 5Star Doll has Jadeite in stock as of posting this. I FINALLY managed to snag one!

Ha ha ha I love my terrifying monster mantitaur Rita from Dream Valley. Denver Doll has Rita and Freyja blank and full sets in stock, too, and yes I will mosey over there to look and sigh wistfully. I would love a little army of them.

That's a standard Loong Soul MSD body in comparison. Rita stretches out to about four more like three feet tall.
