Shopping In-Person BJD stores in China?

    1. I’ve been to some shops that sell BJDs and clothes in Japan and South Korea, but are there any BJD stores that are open to the public in China? I’ve heard there are 1-2 stores in Shanghai, but I don’t know if they are still open. I’d love to visit them the next time I’m in China. If anyone has stories or experiences I’d love to hear them.

    2. I don't have an answer to your question and everything I could find on the forum was 10 years old or older. Most of what was mentioned was specific to Hong Kong.

      I know both Dolk and SWDoll and Kaka Planet are all mentioned as having shops in Shanghai.
      Dollmaker muka_mura on instagram mentioned a place with an address here.

    5. FaithZ still has a physical location for their BJD division.

      Hoshitsukiya (an official Volks Friend Shop) also has a physical location.
      Address: Room 1013, 10/F, Block B, Alexandra Industrial Building, 27 Wing Hong St., Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong

      And I think that's about it for BJD shops that still have a physical location and are open to the public. Most others are online only now.

    7. I'm just back from Shanghai and visited the SWDoll store in the shopping mall 恒基名人购物中心 on the 4th floor.
      [300 Nanjing Rd (E), Huangpu, Shanghai, China, 200061]
      The shop is not very big but there are some BJDs ready to buy in a big showcase. You will find clothes, eyes, wigs and other accessories there.
      I just bought a beautiful wig from Awen and my friend an outfit.
