Is that a female teno? Jeeeze.... I never thought to make teno a girl... this is adorable. Those glasses are just so perfect. Rarely see glasses looking so fitting on a doll. Let alone a tiny!

I want a teno, so he can be her twin. That will come eventually lol.

 

I'm procrastinating asking for a custom color teno... I kind of want something between their two tans and muted, like a dusty chocolate late color. I'm so picky... For how often I seem to think your gela is a teno, I'd definitely second that. They'd make good twins.

 

I am fairly sure they're the same head just o e is female, the other male.

 

Any chance of seeing a close up of her face??

Now while I am asking questions, has anyone put any of the Impl heads on another body??

I am still looking for inspiration, so further spam please girls.

I tried it my gela head on a 5star doll 30 cm body, and I didn't really feel it worked. It was wonky looking, fit nicely though. I'd be interested in seeing a gela head on a rosette body. Being as its very willowy it could be interesting, possibly a doll chateau body.

QUESTION: In regards to my Gela, I had someone ask "Does she come with the ImplDoll carry case?"

I ordered both my Gela and Tano direct from ImplDoll and they came in a brown ImplDoll box with brown patterned cushions.

Anyone know anything about this carry case mentioned?

 

the only carrying cases i have gotten from impldoll was with my msd sized dolls

 

That's interesting, maybe she got the sizes mixed up, or thought that all the sizes came with carry cases.

I finally got around of doing proper clothes to Kheteora - my Impldoll Gela. And of course I took some pictures of her now that she has something proper to wear. Sadly the dress itself isn't looking that good here, but Kheteora is so cute, I'll post this one anyway.

Thanks for that @Kelli & @ahalfling, I think their wigs make such a lot of difference to their looks. I need to experiment with a few different styles myself to see if I can find their characters.

 

Hey hey everyone! Okay, so I've adopted my first non-abs bjd! A Cyril!

I *love* him!! He's so gorgeous! I've been trying to think of a name and a style for him, but I've been dealing with some food poisoning and wrangling a toddler. ;__; I'll be redoing his faceup as soon as I have time too.

So excited....I received my Evan today. He's gorgeous! I'm so impressed with the body. I tried my Sprocket Glee's head on it and it's nearly a perfect colour match, so I went and ordered a girl body for her
I'll post a photo of my boy when I get his face-up done and make him some clothes

 

After all my obsessing over Teno, someone showed me the light. I wanted a dark tan Koko and didn't even know it. Someone messaged me out of the blue asking if I'd be interested in their Koko since they look similiar... I was dubious because of the company photos... But then I saw the faceup he'd be coming with. Oh my god, my world turned upside down. Here he is. Chojie is even more facially accurate than I could have hoped! I promise more photos in November, when my dolls come home to my new apartment with me. (They're at a friend's house temporarily)

 

I managed to get Evan's face done the other day and have made him some clothes and a wig today. I'm thrilled with my new boy! I'll probably wipe the face-up and re-do it at some stage as I wanted it a bit more brown toned and it's turned out a bit gingery instead. I'm looking forward to introducing him to the rest of the family now

he's very cute I don't have an impldoll tiny any more but the engineering on the body of my Harley really impressed me compared to other tinies! Yes, I'm really pleased with his body.....that pleased that I've ordered a girl body for my Sprocket Glee (the Sprocket bodies are frustrating to stand and pose!).
Thanks so much for the heads up with loading the photo. I tried everything but nothing worked. I was copying the BBCode but not by right clicking....not sure why that made a difference but it did. I'll remember that for next time!

The Impldoll body arrived for my Sprocket Glee head. LOVE this body on her! The resin is a fairly good match with the face-up colours I gave her. These bodies pose soooooo well. I have a couple more photos on my Flickr.

I'll have a photo post upcoming, but I wanted to post now so that it might help other folks.

I received my Teno this week. I had ordered him human parts only with a darker skintone: Impldoll shipped him as their normal grey with his fullset parts. They also did not meet their own promised shipment date 3 times before he was shipped, both of which were disappointing.

Most frustrating however were his fantasy parts. he shipped assembled with his faun legs. Googling I see that i should be able to 'remove the plugs' in his feet to access the S rings and change the legs from there.

Since the last time someone has posted about this, Impldoll changed how their dolls are restrung: The plugs are *attached* to the elastic. I went after the darned things with everything, broke nails, used a screwdriver and gouged the resin because reading online everything said they should just come out but they could get stuck (And I didn't care about the fantasy parts anyway).

Eventually I realized the plugs were part of the stringing system itself. >_<

I had to take him apart (His arms are thankfully strung on their own) and used a long ribbon attached to the elastic for his legs to give me enough leeway to take out the plugs. Hurrah!

But then I had to try to attach his actual feet.

Plus side: The calves were marked left and right.
Downside: The S hooks used in the hoof plugs which are how you are supposed to attach the feet? Did not FIT in the feet. I had to reshape them with pliers before they would hook through, and I was genuinely worried I would break the resin.

Overall it took more than an hour to switch out his legs, half of that was before I realized he would have to be restrung.

In short: If you are ordering an Impldoll Teno I strongly suggest you ask for him to be shipped with his human parts assembled if that's what you prefer, to make sure you have sturdy pliers around if you do need to change his parts, and to expect the restringing to potentially be a pain.

In the good news, his resin is beautifully smooth and he has no seams despite being a grey doll, and I was very happy with how he was shipped. So far he poses quite well. I just don't think I'd order another Impldoll after this frustration.

@Elemental Argh, that sounds extremely frustrating. I'd personally really be crabbing up their inbox by now. It sounds like you're making the best of it all and I can't wait to see the new Teno~

 

@KingOfChains super frustrating, especially as Impldoll has not yet replied to my email asking about *how* to restring him. If I hadn't figured it out and was waiting on them I'd be SUPER upset...

But my boy is back from his faceup so photos to share! His face is by Fansea who did a fantastic job. The girl with him is a 5Star Tong Tong.

I have an incoming teno in grey that is my gift doll with an SD body. I am really excited. Do the yosd bodies for little fee size clothing?

@Reslie, hope to see your Teno here soon! I don't know much about clothing - all I have is Dollmore 1\6 kimono (on picture above)and one dress from Alice's Collections that is a bit baggy but still ok.

She's in normal pink colour.

Oh no, I looked at Angelesque's Impldoll page and now I have visions of a circle of fauns dancing in my head... The thing I'd like to know is, how many heads *are* there? I can't quite tell if, say, Aiden and Giden are different... I think they are, but I couldn't swear to it. And I *really* want an Ives.

 

The YoSD bodies do, generally, fit in little fee sized clothing. The one thing you need to watch for is the wrists/armholes as Little Fees have removable hands to deal with non-elastic wrist cuffs, and Impldoll Babies do not.

It's been a while since I've played with my Teno, Arlo. I saw this on a doll at the store and just had to get it. XD

 

Hello, I was wondering if anyone who's bought the Saya doll could help? Did she automatically come with the animal body parts or the regular human body or did she come with both human legs and animal legs?

I ask as I bought one last year thinking it defaults with the animals parts (the reason I specially bought that doll as wanted the animals legs for a character i'm shelling). But i've now received the doll and it's just has the regular human legs and hands. When I ordered there was no option to select the regular body so i'm confused as to why that has happened.

It's urgent as i'm trying to find out if the dealer is at fault for ordering the wrong body or if I needed to have specified I wanted the animal body to get that or if Impledoll has forgotten to include the extra parts if it was supposed to come with both human and animal legs.
Tomorrow (28th) is the last day I can open a Paypal dispute which I think I may be forced to due to the dealer being very flaky and deliberately ignoring messages/problems. It would be super useful to know what the normal default parts for the doll are before I open the dispute!

I chose the Teno as my gift doll when I placed my order directly with Impl during the last event. He came to me with human and hooved legs/feet (he was strung with the human legs) as well as the horn, a gripping hand and the mace weapon. I didn't have to request the hooved legs separately. I was surprised that the horn was blushed as I hadn't requested that but I did pay extra for the default face-up so I assume the horn blushing was part of the face-up.

 

On the product description for Saya it shows:

So you should have gotten both. Your dealer shorted you (and if it's the one I suspect based on other threads I've read, I'm honestly not terribly surprised). Open your claim.

 

Thanks @Iron_Dog & @vicemage for the confirmation! I wanted to make sure I hadn't misunderstood something somewhere before I attempted to sort it out. Unfortunately despite paypal saying I could open a claim today, it's been denied as it's past the 180 day limit (uh, make up your mind paypal!). I just have to have my fingers crossed that Impledoll will be nice and send the missing parts even though the dealer isn't dealing for them anymore.

 

Good luck! I hope they can help you get what you paid for, and you should definitely report that the dealer shorted you in the relevant threads here too so others know about it.

 

Thank you! As the extra parts come in separate bags it is possible that Impledoll simply forgot to add them to the package. Ideally the dealer should have noticed there were parts missing but given that every single order I received though other dealers and doll companies last year all had parts missing then it seems to be a thing.

I've just got my first IMPLdoll, she's the Olina sculpt and I got her because I love her serious little face. She has a really nice weight to her and she's a solid little poser, I'm really pleased. She has her factory faceup which came with a couple of flaws, though I've been able to fix those to my (not all that strict) satisfaction.

Oh my goodness, deinosor. Your Olina photos just made me add one to my Impldoll wish list. She is adorable!

 

After a very, very long wait, my Impl tiny finally arrived! (Though his head's a little... non-standard )



His feet are so detailed! And big, so I don't have any pants at the moment that fit him, he has to wear a kilt instead. (Don't tell him it's a skirt...)

 

I've placed my layaway order for a model-size doll and now I'm already planning to buy from impldoll again at the end of the year around the holidays because I've also fallen in love with Koko, the darling little 26cm Baby! That face is just so cute, and the character I have in mind is a little sibling to my dark tan Model Iris. I'm a big fan of the dark skin tones offered by impldoll!
