IMPLDOLL Tiny Discussion.^^

My Impldoll Teno turned up today, the white boots I ordered with him weren't available, so they sent a replacement which I am happy with and another FREE pair of Goth boots in YOSD size which will come in handy. He's lovely and smooth, much better quality than I expected.

 

I have a Gela coming in very soon that I bought off the mp! So Excited! Does anyone know if sparkle girls clothes fit these cutie girls? It'd be something while I wait for her clothes to come in.

 

Have you seen the two new Babies? They are both adorable! I really like their outfits and that you can order both the fantasy head and the normal one. But I kind of wish that Impldoll would resculpt their hooves or sculpt different fantasy legs, something about the angle the legs bend is bothering me. Owners of the fantasy legged tinies, how do they stand/pose? They seem to not be very stable when the knee is bent.

 

The new babies are super cute and the legs kind of seem wonky to me as well.

 

They don't do it for me (which pleases my wallet no end). I think they have a long way to go to match Teno and Gela!

The two new boys are cute, I could see them making a sweet family with Karina and Chad. As lovely as their creature heads are, I'm more drawn to their normal heads as I haven't got a character in mind with hooves but one of them could definitely work for a young boy I haven't really planned to shell yet!

I ordered an IMPLdoll Simon a few months ago, does anyone know what size eye he takes? For some reason it's not listed. Or I'm just not finding it.

They do There's a seller named Wishfox on stay that has dresses for 9$ Her model is a impl yo so they fit wonderfully! The dress Fleur is wearing is by Wishfox. They wear 14mm eyes and 6-7 Monique wigs. I'll warn you Gelas have a lot of personality! I think it's the eyes lol.

 

I love all of Impldoll. They have some great scupts.

YAY! I just received my shipping notice for Gela! Let's hope the EMS doesn't take as long as last time, I'm anxious to see her.

 

So I came up with a name for my Gela
her name will be 'Keva' pronounced "key-va"
it's Irish! I'm getting so impatient lol I haven't had to wait longer than a month for any of my dolls to ship so the anticipation is realllllll.

 

My Gela arrived today, will share pics when she's assembled, I have to figure out how to change the feet yet. I am assuming I have to pull the plugs out of the bottom of the hooves, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

EDIT: Had a couple of fitting problems with one of the horns and the bow, no eyes were included either. I'm waiting for Impl to get back to me with a solution.

URGENT HELP NEEDED with changing the legs, the plugs won't come out.

I'm sorry that you've had some fitting problems. D; That doesn't seem normal. So far working with Impl they seem to be really nice so hopefully they'll straighten everything out.

As for the legs, I saw another unboxing that people had trouble changing them. I'm sorry I can't offer any guidance as my girls that I'm waiting for will be my first Impl's but I hope someone reaches out quickly. Maybe post it on Impl's Q+A page?

 

Thanks, I have asked Impl about how to change the legs as well. Hopefully I will receive answers tomorrow as I'm anxious to put her together the way I want her. My previous doll (Tano) was perfect.

EDIT 1: They are sending replacements!

But still non the wiser about the leg changing . . . unless I undo the elastic knot inside the body (which is a real pain in the butt to try and do on my own) and completely re-string the doll I can't see any other way to change them.

EDIT 2: Managed to change the legs by undoing the knot in the elastic (after a lot of cursing and trapped fingers) and re-stringing her . . . never again!

I would suggest to anyone ordering an Impl doll wanting human legs, to ask Impl to assemble her that way before shipping.

I was wondering, does anyone have any dolls that are in Impl's pink skin?
I ordered my Gela in pink skin because that's what the pictures of Gela on their website was and I loved that the most.

Was wondering if anyone had any owner pics of the pink skin.

 

I tried something new with my Gela(which is in normal pink miku). I don't know what I think yet. What do you guys think?

I had the wig I was just messing around with wigs last night and well this look came together.

 

So my Gela has been hard to pin down on a character. I think I found who she is though. I'm naming her Sofie and she will be my 5star Doll Tong Tong, Schrodingers sister. What do you think?

Yes! they do. On some you may have to snip the little ribbon in the crotch area, but they work!

 

I found a couple dresses that work. A couple are really cute! My Gela, named Sofie has had some clothes come in a one thing was a Marvel dress....Love it! I'll be taking some pictures soon.

Aw, Windwoman, your Gela looks fab! I've got one on order as part of their event. This thread made choosing incredibly difficult, lol! So many cuties!

 

I am finding that dolls with the elf ears are so much fun. I am working on a storyline (Yeah I do that lol) for her and my other dolls. Involving some Montana history.
It is just taking me a while to do it.

Does anyone know more about the Dream Art's dolls? (Or own one?) I'm looking into getting one at the beginning of next year but I'm really not sure how to judge their size (especially for clothes etc) I was wondering if anyone has one or knows anyone who has one?

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I normally don't like any resin color but white (yes, this is limited, I know) but that blue is STELLAR!

 

One quick question, I just received a lovely Impldoll Gela as an event gift and am planning to keep her, but the 6-7 inch wigs she's tried on have all been on the big side for her little head. Would you recommend 5-6 inch wigs for the Gela sculpt?

 

I would, I know some of the stretchier Monique 5-6 wigs fit rather nicely. Not all Monique 5-6 wigs, I would try Jojo for example.

 

5-6 Shaggies from Denver Doll Emporium are also a great fit.

I finally got my dollies in one piece.

My 2nd Austin in light blue skin, and she's a girl - Celeste

 

My girl has her wig! A 5-6 inch Fatiao wig ended up fitting her perfectly.

I had no idea I'd become so enamored with her. Since she was an event gift, I didn't give her that much thought, but now she has a name and a personality (Uxada, very shy, Ixyry's younger sister) and I love holding her and photographing her way more than I thought I would. She's slowly becoming one of my favorites, and I can't wait to give her a proper faceup.

Only problem is, her neck seems to be a failed casting, the top of it isn't horizontal (The right side is much higher up) so her head lolls to the side a lot and I'm in the process of sanding it down. She's also a different color from her sister, who's also Impldoll dark tan, and where her resin gets thin there is a distinct red cast, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way.

But nevertheless, I love her!

I still haven't done a thing with my Teno or Gela. I had intended for Teno to be Theron (my Ipotane King) and Gela to be Atargatis (my Mermaid) but they were replaced with a Luts Bory Centaur and a Fairyland RealFee Mari. So Teno and Gela remain housed in their respective boxes. Was thinking of selling them, but if someone can inspire me here, I won't.

So PLEASE will someone post some spam for inspiration.

 

I want to share my ImplDoll Dream's Art Nancy. Her name is Arla and I made her faceup to look like a fawn. I'm still not sure if I want to sculpt little antlers and tail.

As far as clothes go, I think Blythe tops/dresses might fit, but I haven't been able to purchase any for her yet. I might buy an outfit at the end of the week. But I did buy yosd stockings to test things out.They should arrive soon.
