{Immortality of Soul} Sebastian Michaelis! <3

I can’t believe he’s finally here! Kuroshitsuji has always been my favorite anime, and now I have my favorite character! I almost purchased the IoS Osiris sculpt on more than one occasion so I could have my own Sebastian BJD. While that version was beautiful, it just didn't match the anime version as well as I would have liked. So when the teaser of this Sebastian doll was put up I started saving immediately. This was exactly what I had been waiting for!

After 8 long months of waiting after my order was placed through Dolk, I am so happy to finally have him home! I'm so impressed with the quality of Immortality of Soul; this doll was worth every single penny. On to pictures from the box opening~

Huge box of course for this 70 cm beast. I'm used to large boxes, but I think this might be the biggest one I've received. About the size of the black Soom Mega Gem/Idealian boxes, but this one is a little wider.

The front and back of the instruction sheet. I couldn’t read any of it, but it looked like just basic instructions for putting in the eyes and removing the head.







Sebby’s clothes were on top.







And the full doll! I was really concerned when I saw that the faceup protector was totally off the head and it was turned around like that, so I got him out in a hurry.




Thank goodness his faceup was fine. Here's a first look at his handsome face!

 

Here is a close-up of his eyes. They are Oscar Doll eyes that came with his fullset, and they are stunning.




The nails, contract symbol, and eye line. I still don’t know for sure if I want to put on the nails and contract symbol, so for now I just left them off.




Just the eyes in, they fit perfectly. I just love his sculpt



Here he is with his fullset wig and eyes!




Here I have him in the fur wig I modified to imitate the one used in the original teaser image they posted of him. I don’t know if I prefer this or the fullset wig, but I am drawn to this look.

I’m so so so happy with this doll; the quality is incredible, from the resin to the outfit. I was amazed at the detail and care put into each and every piece that came with this doll. This is a dream come true. That smirk, those eyes; this is Bassy I can't stop staring at him! Thank you so much for viewing my box opening, I hope you enjoyed it

I know, he's so gorgeous. IoS did a great job capturing his alluring gaze and charming smile. I've decided I like him better with the fur wig too; it's less poofy and I do think the bangs are too long/thick on the default wig. I'll just use the fur wigs I have because they look more like what I had envisioned for him. Thank you so much for your lovely comment!
