Well I'm at 700 now, I'm getting paid 300 tomorrow and if I get another 300 in two weeks I'll have him about paid off! ^_^

 

LOL! I realized later that I was thinking of another room that turned over entirely.

That's so cool, I'm about to do my second payment at the end of the week on Ciel, but I'm very envious of you, Peachy! It's just a liberating feeling to get a layaway completed! But on the other hand, I'm just thrilled layaway's an option for them--it really is a great way to open things up to the collectors who want a chance to get someone amazing from them.

How is a layaway possible? Is it with Dolk?

 

Yeppers, I'm doing my layaway through Dolk. They aren't offering more than a 2-month layaway however, so it's a little tight, but on the other hand, Ciel. So, yeah. They're really awesome about it however, I've had a great time buying from Dolk in the past, so I'm quite pleased with it this time as well.

I will wait for my Osiris to return and get him a body........however when IOS release Sebastian and depending on which mold they use for him.......I know I will have to beg borrow or....yea borrow to get him.......going to bed now......(doggone narcs)

 

I got a M head and really wasn't liking the idea that I have to put him on a SD13 body. So the other day, I got my SD17 body out (from another company) and plonked him on it. He actually turned out really well.

It's so weird how M isn't even a main character but in order to get this character done, I had to work so much extra hard to have him completed. I ordered him in NS last year and after realizing the color wasn't right I had to exchange his head with another buyer so I could get the white skin instead. And now that I've found a good body for him, I have to get that body in the right color. I haven't even painted him yet...don't want to do that until I'm sure of him.

 

I finally looked at the Ciel. The sculpt itself is nothing special really. Looks pretty identical to the Luts Bory which I know gets used all the time for Ciel. I'd say the price is from the outfit and being the official licensed version. Congrats to those who drop the money for him. He's cute but not my cup of tea. I don't care for child looking dolls myself.

 

Ugh..... yes. The never-ending hunt for bodies.....
I'm still totally failing to find a body the right size for my Osiris that will match. I've worked my way through a lot of companies in the last few months and still not getting there. It's very hard to find much resin matching info for most of the companies I've looked at. My latest possible is Doll Legend, but the body is really a bit shorter than I wanted and it looks as though the nearest is match is the yellow skin. Yellow kind of worries me a bit.... if it's going to yellow anyway I don't really want to start off with something that's already called yellow. Hmmm....... so difficult.
I actually have the perfect resin match with my Doll Leaves body, but they don't make a body big enough for the Osiris head.

I do like the IoS Ciel and it's the perfect height that I want, but I've already got the head I'm going to use for my Ciel. If I could get that onto the IoS 50cm body that would be perfect!

 

I think someone mentioned that they asked IOS about the C50 boys and were told they were to be rereleased this month or soon. So you can get one of the bodies then.

 

It would be nice, but he will have to wait. Sebastian is priority for now!
Plus I think the neck would probably need severe modding to fit.

They made a Ciel Doll here ... and that is Sebastian's hand... He's coming....

 

Anyways...here's M on a Soom (old) Supergem body... now I have to go hunt for one in WS.

 

OT at the moment has anyone seen Book of Circus from Black Butler? I wonder if IOS will do a classic Sebastian or Book of Circus version?

 

See, I'm wondering that too, I mean, it's Book of Circus Ciel, so it would be entirely logical that they'd want to match them, right?! Ah, I am sort of angsting over having to wait, but incredibly grateful at having to wait as well, my dolly dance card is quite full, and I'll be so happy to have a little breather before Anything Else Happens.

I do demand shots of the two dolls together however when Sebastian does appear!

I will utterly die if they make a Book of Circus Sebby, knowing I won't be able to get him.......so not fair.....if only I could win the lottery then I would get him and never go back to work....ever.

I asked IoS about the Kuroshitsuji dolls.
They told me they are making Sebastian later this year and then next they will be making Grell.
They don't have any definite plans for any more at the moment, but they may do some more in the future.

 

Grell is so hilarious in Black Butler, wonder if he will come with his chainsaw?

 

Hehe! I think he would have to! Unless they do butler Grell instead?
I still want them to do Joker. Maybe if the others are popular they will give in and do some more characters?

 

I think Joker would be great. It would also give them a challenge of doing a bone hand.

 

Hey guys, out of curiosity when do new blank head releases start shipping?

I ordered a Jade on the day of release but I've never bought from this company before, what wait time can I expect? Do they ship after the order period is over?

 

So I expect to be putting the rest of the 700 I owe to IOS for my doll next week! Lol I had my layaway planned out for the next 5 months and I'm just saving everything and paying it off in 2. XD

Not that I've seen... T_T I hope we didn't get delayed... but if we did, I hope next month at the latest.

On their notice boards, they usually give a date of when they start shipping and it's usually around 2 months after the order period ends. I ordered my head during their "discontinue head sculpt" event and got mine exactly 3 months after I ordered him. So I would say 2 or 3 months.

Hey guys! I bought a new-white Blood head from IOS when they discontinued the sculpt. I love that sculpt so much, but I'm having a devil of a time trying to find a body for him.

Has anyone had any luck hybriding with IOS' new white resin? That new-white is almost paper white with a pink cast.

 

Hahahaha yea.... I have a New WS Blood, Osiris, and now my Lacrimosa that's coming in... The WS has a pink under tone to it so it's been really hard but from what I've looked at Luts WS is pretty close.

 

wait up jacobean Are you gonna get Jade's head so you can make a Joel to go with your Ellie?!? That would be truly awesome!

 

I would try Ringdoll Grown the 70cm or 72cm body in WS. I have seen a Mezz on that body and it looks very good. I am getting a NS Ringdoll Grown for my Osiris head later this year. Since IOS has the new resin colors I was a bit concerned about going with a yellow tone body. Luts SSDF is still used for a hybrid for IOS also.

 

Oh I didn't notice the hand of Sebastian in Ciel's photos End of the year sounds great for me considering how much Ciel was. Guess I have Grell on my wish list too now.

 

Ah yes. The endless quest that is finding the right body.....

Gah! I wish IOS would schedule a body sale, so everyone with a loose IOS head could get a body. There seems to be plenty of us around looking.

 

I agree it would make sense, but I think they have their hands full doing other things........I wonder if they are still working on their female body? I saw a quick pic of it on their site. I can't wait to get my Osiris head back, then I will know for sure which body to get for him.

 

I have a very difficult time finding clothes for my new IOS 50 boy. I love that body soo so much, but MSD clothes are to small for him, SD...to big LOL

 

They can wear the same clothes as the Fairyland F60's and Luts Delfs (if yours is on the bigger C50 body). My boy is currently wearing a Luts outfit (at least the pants to it. he didn't want to wear the rest of it). I don't know about the smaller C50 body. The only thing that stopped me from getting that one was the fact that he had two fisted hands and you can't do much with that. I did ask IOS at the time if they were going to make more hands for it and they said yes. I'm guessing not anytime soon, though. I'd love to get a second Cho on the smaller body to go with my big one.

What do you mean normal hands? In his sale pics he only had fisted for both hands??? did you get the open hands the bigger one uses?

 

Well they had scheduled the new 70cm body for release this month, but I haven't heard any more about it recently. When I asked them a few weeks ago they said it was definitely going to be available to buy without a head. Sadly I think it's just going to be too far out of my price range.
At the moment I think my choice is coming down to either Dragon Doll 72cm or Doll Legend 70cm. Both of those also have the advantage of having jointed hands available. Still trying to find out more about the resin match though.

This 50 A type body is too beautiful, I guess is the same body for Ciel right?

 

I think it is, it's the only body they have available on their website in the 50cm range.

I would love to buy the 50cm body for one of my floating heads, but I can't afford it *sniffles* It's the perfect size and it looks so good, but getting a body for my Osiris must have priority!

 

Congrats SugarFirefly! Did you also get him on the smaller body or did you go for the bigger one?

 

LuckyXIII Smaller body is better for him (and I have one from IOS) because for me, he is too delicate for bigger muscular 50.
I want to buy him bigger body too, but slim "boyish" (and not from IOS)

 

We'll find out in three months.
