anyone have their boys (s) on a different body? im debating whether to get the head and body for mezz on ios or just the head and find a body elsewhere. also how does their layaway work? i read it sort of but its still confusing to me

 

I found two treads with Mezzes on different bodies here and here. I think he looks great on a smaller body, since he is one of the interchangeable heads that were ment to fit different bodies. The head circumference of Mezz is smaller than the one of my S. Nix has her Mezz on a popodoll body, although I'm note sure about the resin match. I think her Mezz is old NS. There is also a picture of a Mezz from 2012 on a 65cm infinity body. He should be in new NS.

 

yea i looked at the inifinitidoll SID body and unfortunately it says its sold out on their site do they restock that stuff? i hope so the skin color and tone of the body looks really nice on a Mezz.

 

Yes, I like mezz on the infinity body too. I don't know when they will be on sale again. maybe we should ask the company.

 

OOOOH new thread yay! I have Nicky pictures... like I just finished a bunch. First though... holy great goodness your boy is gorgeous Batchculture! I'm so glad you got him back! Nicky still just has black eyes. I'm a cheater. When he is using himself, bewitching someone, his eyes flash red and as you come into his control and he becomes intoxicated, his eyes change from solid black to a glowing rich garnet red. I just can't find anything with that versatility.

I love that arrogant snark I always get from your guy LuckXIII. I haven't seen the anime the character is from... so it is just the impression I get.

OK... So I wanted to post how his back came out but... I mean... I guess I can but you will not be able to see a lot of the rest of him. I'll post a good pic of him from the front. I worked really hard on the veining.

Hi hi!! Im new to the thread and i was wondering if anyone has seen a class80 head on a class70 body ?

My new boy was suppose to be shipped out today but i have yet to get the tracking number so im guessing they delayed him again -faints- But if anyone has any pictures of a class80 head on a class70 body, do share or if you know anything about it, like... if it fits well or it will look like a bobble head etc etc... it would be helpful ^-^

 

Don't know when I will be able to get my Chaos a new body, but I do hope IOS will release the bodies separately for orders in the future.

I want to purchase my Mezz sculpt but I;m debating on waiting another week if its a good or bad choice @_@ does anyone know if he would be released also in september?

I just put as many heads in the shopping cart as possible. When I tried to put eight in, the system told me that there weren't enough left

I'm wondering about that too. I havent't seen any new teasers of the new class 50 though. I'm wondering if there will be another delay. I just found a picture of G here. Sigh!!! I love G but I am not quite sure what to think about his chiseled nose. Is it his best asset or is it a little too edged?

 

I think he's amazing as is...buuuuuuuuut I know what you mean about the nose. I think M's nose is pretty boxy too but G's is even more so. I have to admit it bothers me a little bit but not enough to not drool over him and not want him. I suppose if I was one of those amazing dolly people out there with the skills I might consider modding him to take some of the blockiness away but it would probably depend on how much it started to bug me.

I think I like this new system already...lol. It's something to look forward to.

 

I'm so happy! I was lucky enough yesterday to find a seller close to me on the MP selling the Infiniti SID body I was hoping to get for my Mezz head. Now all I have to do is hope his sculpt won't sell out before this Friday x.x

I'm curious odds anyone know if the sculpts and such they currently say they have restocked on are pretty much already made and ready to be shipped? Or is it just their order until they can't make anymore then will take another month to make?

 

I've been wondering the same thing too. Like will everyone get their dolls right away. I do hope that would be the case...that would be super exciting for the bjd world.

 

That would be cool in some ways because i have my future Mezz's body on layaway with someone from the MP so by the time that is finished if the head is already made they should arrive around the same time Though thats only going with IF the sculpts are already made. I want to think they are because of their dollism thing that just got over. perhaps these were sculpts that didn't sell out fully?

 

Yep...I was thinking the same thing about Dollism & having possible over stock. But I hope everything works out with body + head for you. It's always a big win when someones dolly dreams come true.

I'm still curious as to when they might bring up some more news on the 50cm guys. I am really interested in one of the sculpts def. i actually might get two if i can find someone talented enough to do a lot of work on him.

Adalwolf, thank you for photo! I liked Anarmonia on photoes from master table, but when it released i was dissapointed. Now I see it's really beautiful mold.

 

I'd like to buy Konstantine a few clothes (as soon as I'll have pocket money) and I'd be curious to know which shirts and pants may suit his body. I know he has impossibly long legs and most of the trousers are too short (and I hope to make him some as he arrives) but I would like to search for some shirts for the future :3

 

Nope.. the order on IOS still says "confirm receipt", but I don't count since I ordered my Lacrimosa with default make up and it takes a little bit longer for them to ship

 

Hmm... It took them a month for them to ship my lacrimosa out when i ordered him at DP8 this year. I just got him last week ~ They already had the stock for him when i ordered but because i wanted him with faceup, they had to ship it to me a month later.

I'm not gonna lie. I'm have to admit that I'm kinda glad too, especially if G were up or even that little class50. But I just love the class60 body. He is my easiest and best poser and I need a body. Ugh I hate it when I feel like a big old whine baby.

 

I'm pretty sure I saw the class60 body up for sale again today. Have a look!

Wow - that's a bit of a surprise! I hope the current class60 body will still be available. I am very happy with my boy. I love the idea of a slim version though ( ... and look at the cute butt .... ).
A lot of companies seem to do the opposite and opt for overly muscular now.... it's getting difficult to find mature bodies that I like.
I tought that the class50 would take a little longer, since there weren't any teasers. I'm very curious about those boys

 

@batchculture...I know what you mean about finding a mature body that isn't overly power packed with muscle. I like them but would mature without being buffy buff master would be awesome. I hope they keep both bodies too or it's at least as good a poser. And I agree that little butt is adorable. Now I can't wait for October.

It's funny, I like to look at some of the buffy buff boys like the new Dollshe body. Beautifull! But not for me. Almost like a pretty outfit that I'd like on others but wouldn't wear myself...

hello everyone!! *jumps into thread* I'm new here! Erm basically I'm even new in BJD. Quick question! I'm wondering why most people that bought IOS sculpts have their boys on a different companies' bodies? This is like the majority of the cases (as far as I know). Is the body not good enough? Or were they not producing bodies before? Or is it just because of everyone's diverse preference? Sorry I found IOS like two months ago. So I don't know a lot about them and everything seems off to me. I really want a Sezz!! I wonder if I should get him in different body though.

 

Well I have my IOS boy on an IOS body. He is IOS M and on the class60 body. I don't know about he other bodies but the class60 is the best/easiest poser I have (if posing is important to you). Basically the class60 has done just about everything I want him to do without much fiddling including full standing back bends or "bridge pose" in yoga terms. He stands like a rock. I don't know about the larger ones though. If you are looking for aesthetically lovely....I have others that I prefer to the class60 for visual aesthetics. But even in that sense...the class60 holds it's own. Would love to hear other feedback as well on the other bodies too....

 

I have my IOS Lacrimosa on an ios Class70Body mainly because i feel that a class80 would be too big for me to handle and they arent many clothes out there that fits class80 bodies. Most of the ppl i know with class80 heads would get a 70cm body from another company because 80cm is just too big for them.

 

Ohh thanks everyone for the responds. I conclude that everyone has their own personal reason for hybridizing. So now that it has been made clear, I really hope that IOS will restock SEZZ asap! I wonder how long do I have to wait for that.

LuckyXIII that was one really random dream! So much like an anime. LOL.. Human Grimm must have been a hot dude! *swoons* That guy need not to be so psychotic though. He was really overreacting. Who in world would go as far as tearing down a house to get rid of something? Poor dolls losing their life over a stupid reason. It must have been sorrowful to watch that dramatic scene. Dolls with spirits are cool as heck (not the evil ones). What was he thinking? I'm more than GLADDDDD to keep them... So in the end how many of them made it to survive?
