Thanks for the link! I think she's adorable. I like the size and the clothing is gorgeous. I've always liked the Soom imda dolls and the 43 cm is especially nice. I wonder how she'd look in proportion to a 60-65 cm doll. I'll have to wait for a basic doll too. She'd be fun to design for.

I hope so too. I'd like to have a family of dolls but most of mine from the same companies do not have the proper proportions. I'd especially like to see the Soom girls,work together because of their distinctive, soft style. They'd be adorable as sisters!

 

The new basic version is finally out, she's really cute! I'm really thinking about getting her. Does anyone have any opinions?

 

I'm seriously considering getting Manon too, everything but the wig...I'm seeing something asymmetrical vs. the wig they have for her. She's sooo cute. I only have one other Imda--the 5.2--but this might really be my second!

 

After talking with my fiancé and getting his opinion (he loves the way she looks) I'm going to get her this Friday. Now I just have to find her some clothing and a nice wig. I'm contemplating getting her the eyes as well. I want really realistic eyes. Any opinions?

 

Yeah, just not sure about that wig...but it might be awesome if I style it differently...and I got one of the three 5.2 Steampunk Monikas--with the wing .

 

I just saw Manon basic already released. She is so adorable, I'm serious consider if I should bring her home.....I'm so struggle right now...><

Thank you! I'm very excited to receive her. I love the pouty expression and super cute face-up. I'm looking for a very cute/ casual style for her. She's pretty thin so I don't know how lolita will look on her. I need to look on easy for some cute things like shirts, sweaters, leggings, shorts, and socks. I'm super excited!

Kind of wish I hadn't seen this - I was just congratulating myself for being happy with what I have and not wanting to add anyone, but that changed when I saw her.

This is so exciting! I'm glad some people are excited to get her! I'm hoping to make her really beautiful with lots of dolly things and props if I have money left over. I kinda made it hard for myself cause I'm adding another pet to my family this month to.

 

Yay, I've done it. I've ordered my second iMda . She'll be in normal skin, small bust, face up, outfit, wig, and eyes. I think I can do a different hair style with that wig or use it on another doll.

 

Ooh...yes, those pics are new . I noticed they had some new ones forthe back of her outfit, but I love these new pics of Manon .

 

Oh, and BJD Collectasy and the iMDA website originally had the end sale date for Manon on the 20th, but it's been pushed backto the 22nd if anyone still plans on ordering .

 

Me too! I wanted to order but not enough dolly funds at the time. She will probably show up again but would still like to see her now!

 

I'm waiting too, I checked with Soom and mine will be shipping in July. I bought on layaway with the last payment on May 6th, so I'm sure your girl will be getting home earlier. Looking forward to pictures!

You're welcome! And ditto! I love the pink eye color on her . I may play around with some pink eyes I already have with her...They're for the 5.2 iMda I have. And off the top of my head, I'm not really sure they'll fit the 4.3...not sure the eye sizes actually, but something to play with :3.
