Sculpting I'm currently making a set of dolls in zbrush for the first time

Aside from how am I doing as far as their faces go, and how the flip flap tick tack do you manage to do fingers, how do you separate the pieces out again once you're done sculpting everything? Because I'm going to be done with the first doll soonish, as far as sculpting the general body goes, and then I'm going to need to make her joints and for that I'm going to need to cut her up! I promise it's not as violent as it sounds! But how do I do that?
