Chevy and Tintin are twin brothers, and while they have a lot in common - they don't share the same interests. While Chevy likes to be active, to learn and invent things, Tintin indulges in being stupid, lazy and useless … doesn't. Chevy Solo by Evie ex Machina, on Flickr Tintiiiin! Tintin Solo by Evie ex Machina, on Flickr Absolutely not! As the director of the club I have to lead by example! Somehow these two always inspire silly dialogues, and I love playing with them. Flickr gave me some trouble today … I hope all the photos are showing and are in the right order.
Yup, Tintin has sold me. Where do I sign up? For as low-energy as he is, he makes a pretty dynamic other half in this duo. Their opposition is great. Warm, cool, bright, dark... but meet in the middle at the freckles. They are brothers after all. I like the closeup shots of them together. 'Shall we put it up outside now?' is particularly emotive. Also, the old Delf curl over the sign is one of the funniest, deliberate uses of that posture I've ever seen. Bravo.
Thank you! These two are my playful cuddly dolls. My sister made the sweaters. She loves textile work and is a lot better at it than I am, so sometimes I commission her. Thank you! I'm glad these oldschool boys can still win your heart. Haha, Tintin will probably do a triumphant dance … or not. Maybe some thinking of triumphant dancing … It's fun to play with those contrasts - there's always something going on between the two. There's also a third - not their twin, but their cousin. Hehe, the posture. Not sure if he's hugging the sign or falling asleep on it. (I guess I could have done better tbh, but I was just going for some quick, random silliness)
