hi All, Been ages since I posted here. My computer hard drive fried months ago and I lost all my contacts so only just remembered/found this club again when I saw the link on the DOA artist section. Anyway!! I thought I would share my latest head sculpt. I didn't mean it to be a boy but I think it is!! My husband says it looks like our son. Thanks for looking Kaye
damn adorable! Yes i think you're right, at the very least a tomboy-ish girl, but that wig suits him...see already saying 'him'
He is gorgeous! A very tomboyish girl.or boy really. I'd love to get a long blonde wig and see how feminine I could make it *giggles*. But otherwise looks a lot like our next door neighbours child too. How spooky. I love those freckles!
Kaye, I think this head sculpt is wonderful. I love the expression he/she has...I agree with your hubby, I hope you will make this head a boy! ......looks so cheeky and up to some mischief....Wonderful O.T....Hey, I just had to have a new hard drive in my rotten Laptop!!!! I lost lots of pics and heaps of stuff too!!......I now have an external back-up...just in case!!!... xen
Thanks Magga, Aurora-borealis and Xen Glad you think he looks OK. I'm going to do another one to paint as a girl so hope it works. Xen .. I had an external hard drive too but it was attached to my computer when we had a lightening strike so it got fried too I was lucky and able to retrieve some pics from my photobucket album.
I think the new sculpt does look like a boy, although that could be changed with the makeup. He would make a good addition to your line and I'm sure there are a lot of people who would like to have a boy done by you.
He's adorable! And you could probably market it as a girl or a boy (like all those companies do...hehe). I love the expression; so serious. It's cute. Great job.
He's gorgeous! I agree with a lot of people on here though, I think with the proper wig and face-up, your sculpt can look like a boy or girl... it has a sweet androgynous look to it wow.. beautiful work!
It does strike me at first as a boy - though looking at it, I've known several girls who had those proportions. With or without a 'girlish' face-up, wig or clothes, it could be a tomboy-ish girl. He or she has a lot of character in that long, slightly wary face. :3
wow... that... i want one D: lol its so cute! i love the boots and the face is just awesome well done.
i really like your doll sculpt style. amazingly unique. i've been lurking around your works on DoA btw i'm a BJD artist too http://dreamhighstudio.deviantart.com/ check it out please drop a message so i can add you to my watch. i really loves your works
I love the face so much! It has so much expression, and it looks really unique. The shape of the head looks just like my neighbor's.
He looks like he just got in trouble with his mom, and he is sad =0( What a beautiful little fellow, Kaye. You always make the most adorable little people!
