I need doll friends!

Hi all! After several years of putting my dolls on the hobby back burner, I'm finally actively getting back into things, and I desperately need some local (or at least semi-local) doll friends! I moved to a much less populated area a few years ago so I don't know how many fellow BJD enthusiasts I'm likely to find near me, but I gotta at least try!

So, anybody on Whidbey Island, Washington? Or even just in Everett or Edmonds, anywhere in like a 20 mile radius lol, I just need doll friends I can actually hang out with and enjoy dolls with in person! It makes it so much more worthwhile for me to be able to genuinely SHARE my love for dolls with others, not just via text and pictures...

Obviously if you're not comfortable sharing your specific location publicly, (which... you're right, frankly. I'm the one taking unnecessary risks here lol), feel free to just send me a private message if you're interested in connecting.

I hope this hasn't come off as creepy or pushy, I just... really want to be able to share my hobby with cool, likeminded people that I'd actually get to see more than maybe once every couple of years, y'know? It's hard to make friends, much less friends with the same extremely niche hobby! I look forward to excitedly showing you all my doll projects and getting excited about all of YOUR doll projects!

 

Unfortunately, I used to live in Seattle but am now JUST far out enough from the greater Seattle area that it's a bit far to commute all the way into the city on a regular basis, but I'll check the discord, I honestly get kinda overwhelmed by most social media so I'm not super active on it, but it is still the best way to find niche communities so I'll just have to brave it!
