I've had this account for a little bit and lurked every once in a while but recently I've started to interact and navigate DoA on my own so I decided it's probably a good idea to at least introduce myself. I bought my first doll when I was a young teen, a Mystic Kids Lillian through Alice's Collections. Unfortunately, she is long gone due to reasons I'd rather not get into which led me to step away from the hobby for a long time. I have since rejoined as of the beginning of this year and now currently own 3 dolls (another on the way as of writing this). I heavily favor dolls with realistic proportions/art styles and for the most part plan to collect mostly male dolls. I'm also interested in learning new skills in the hobby such as sewing, wig-styling, eye-making, and photography as well as improve on face-up techniques. I get a lot of my inspirations from video games mostly and some anime. I really enjoy medieval and ancient fantasy as well as horror and cyberpunk. Thank you for reading!
Hi Welcome!! Sewing for dolls can be great fun. I try to make each of my dolls at least one outfit before they arrive home so they have something to wear.
That's so cute! They have an outfit waiting for them! If I knew what I was doing I would totally do something like this! Aw yeah! Glad to find other enthusiasts!
Welcome! I'm so happy to see so many folks returning to this hobby recently, the more the merrier Hope to see you around the forum!
A cool goal for me would be to at least have one cyberpunk outfit for my dolls. We’ll have to see how that works out!
