I fell down and went boom!

She was standing perfectly fine on the desk next to my computer for a while. Then all of a sudden, it was apparently nap time:



The way all her pieces fell, it looks like they were deliberately placed. I assure you, they were not. XD

I was trying to take a picture when....

 

I was trying to take pics of her on the kitchen counter... Miku fell down and went BOOM XD
Somehow, like a ninja, I managed to catch her before her wig fell off and became a total mess. Thank goodness, that wig is the definition of difficult.

 

I was trying to get her to sit next to Rangi for a group shot.. But she just wouldn't have it


And Somei just did not want to stand in front of that big pumpkin, so he fell on it instead

Apparently she also thought is was extremely hilarious cause this happend:

 

I don't know HOW it happened xD. I had stood Paige up on the bench and Alice (the small doll) was sitting there by Silece and Paige suddenly fell over, her head in Silece's lap. Alice is under her like 'Ouch..' and Silece is like 'What the hell are you doing?'

 

This is perfect considering they're sisters.

 

This might not totally count, but...

Apparently, *someone* thought the little doll-sized trick-or-treat bin was a possible cat toy, and had to test that hypothesis. Oddly enough, though, I don't think it hit her, but she did make it fall over.

 

I have one from yesterday evening! I was trying to get my boy Shao to stand and then...

First snow fall! Tsubaki walked a few steps and..oops!


Her ears went flying lol. Luckily there was no damage to her face or faceup. Just some minor scuffing on her elbow. ^^;

 

I was trying to make clothes for my 15 cm elf Miram (RS Dian) and needed him for measurement when I lost my grip on him and he took a dive and ended up in a face plant on the dirty floor, (dirty from peanut husks from peanuts I had eaten an hour earlier) his naked butt mooning me.

I had my little shaman finally, wonderfully posed and boom! she fell just as the camera snapped! such timing... xD

the other day I was taking some Pictures of Airi in a new dress I had gotten her when she decided standing was overrated.



I tried to catch her and as a result she face-planted into my hand. I think the carpet would have been softer lol but it's my natural instinct to try and catch her

 

Oh man. I've never had a reason to post to this thread until this afternoon.

I was brushing off Kinjita, my Dream Realm Xiao Chi, and trying to fix his wig because I wanted to do a photo shoot with him. Now, I had him standing (I was supporting him), because usually, I'm good about making sure my dolls are supported while they're standing, and usually they're fairly sturdy. Everything was just fine.

And then this happened:


I'm...still not entirely sure how he did it, but not only did his head cap go flying off to the side (as well as his wig; where you see them sitting is where they landed - I didn't touch them until after I took these photos), but his ear came off as well. XD! Dream Realm dolls have magnetic ears, you see. Luckily it didn't go far, but it did land on the floor next to one of the chairs.


Poor Kinjita. He's such a serious guy, so seeing him like this just cracked me up. XD; After I propped him back up, he seemed angry with me for the rest of the afternoon. ^^;


And today must have been Two Dolls Falling for the Price of One! day or something, because Antonio, my Abio Angel Ling, was the next one to take a tumble not thirty minutes after Kinjita did.


But Antonio actually fell off of the table (standing again; yeah, I suppose my lesson here is to not trust the boys to stand on their own XD) and smacked his forehead on the chair on his way down. Thankfully, our dining room chairs are upholstered, so he wasn't hurt. Just dazed.


I love how he's holding his hand up, as if to say, "No photos!!" And that's just how he fell, too. XD;

 

I haven't had a reason to post before because I usually pick her up right away or catch her before she hits the ground, but this time her pose was just too funny! I had just finished fixing her wig and putting her horribly messy hair up into a ponytail when she decided to see if she was capable of flying or not. She jumped off my desk (as soon as I looked away, mind you) and...



A classic "OH MY GOD" pose. Her wig landed way over there, still attached to the wig cap.

My poor Jinlong looked super-freaked out! He got a little scratch on his left cheek, and an even smaller one on his nose, but I was killed by the shock... (I had JUST gotten him) x_x



He looks like he's gunna cry!!

(He was skittish the rest of the day, and I gained ninja skills. No doll has ever fallen in my presence since then.)

Life is hard when you're top heavy! She tipped her little wicker chair right over- then I recalled this thread and snapped a picture!

 

Ok so looking over these, I had the best laughs in my life. Then realized, my AOD loves to fall down, but never when there's a camera around. Well, just 5 minutes ago, I had Kumi sitting on my lap, watching TV. And he decided to do a flip off my lap and down my legs. Luckily, my mom's camera was on the desk next to me and I finally was able to get a shot.


please ignore my feet. I didn't want him to fall all the way because of my back.

 

After slaving all afternoon to make Alice the perfect sailor fuku top and skirt, I was going to take a quick shot of the finished uniform for a friend when all of a sudden...


She swoons! Her knees buckle! But that's not all...

So a couple of my dolls suffered an earthquake fall, and thanks to that I have things to contribute.

I actually had just plopped her down and was going to get a drink when I just happened too look down and was like "Oh! Thats cute! *snap snap snap*!" hehe! ^_^

 

My doll was handcuffed to a DD Ryomou at a fountain in downtown Raleigh. There was no wind at all that night, until a freak gush of wind knocked over Ryomou, and she took Kouichi down with her! Thankfully the fountain had a somewhat optical illusion where it was less than an inch deep and had a plastic like lining on the bottom. Ryomou was fine, but sadly, Kouichi suffered a 1mm chip to his head cap... which thankfully is covered by his wig.

Here's a fun one. I was taking pictures of Jaida on a particularly windy day and she fell backwards. Her wig fell off and she naturally face-palmed.

This thread needs a good bump. And I happen to have photographed a doll mid-fall today.



No shots of him fallen, as he hit the window and spun to land on his face. Had to instantly check for damage. He is perfectly fine. Thank goodness!

 

LOl I love all of these pictures. Needless to say, but I hope I will NEVER have to post a picture to this page u know? I've yet to be brave enough to stand Alec anywhere D: I'd just die if he got hurt!

 

Oh gosh, I'm laughing way too hard at this thread. xD No falling pictured of Abel...yet.

 

Went to pick up my doll and ended up just sort of punching her.

Was taking introduction shots of my IMPL Gela and well...it didn't go so well.








Poor thing gave up on me helping her up and decided just to lay there instead.

 

I'd just taken my Atsushi (Bluefairy Tiny Fairy Xiao boy WS) out to get a picture of him on the porch. The ledge there is wide (big enough for me to sit on, and I'm not a small woman), and I'd gotten him posed. Went to take the picture and...



Had to run, throw on my boots and dash out to rescue him. He'd just come back from getting a new face-up! Fortunately, no harm done:



(Man, I thought I would have a heart-attack!)

She was supposed to be a puppet so her strings caught her from tipping all the way over.

 

He litterly fell down and went boom, I was twisting his head cap off, which is old style so it connects directly to his head, and instead of the hook coming off his headcap, it slipped out of his strings, there was a huge exploding noise, his headcap flew across the room and he fell like this. Scared the crap out of me.

 

LOL. I don't have a photo to contribute but just have to say this. I've never seen as many dolls looking like chalk lines at a murder scene in my life. Glad nobody was seriously damaged in the making of these pictures.

 

I sadly, or in Faolin's case thankfully didn't take the picture of him when he fell off the playground equipment at one of the many meet ups we've been to. However next time I will take one for you all

 

Haha! I think by far the funniest pictures are the ones where dolls fall over with something on top of them, like the teddy bear! XD

I was taking a picture of her like "Waiting for my prince" for another game on here and right after I got that perfect shot, this happens.

trying to stand her on grass and when i thought she was steady.....well she was only messin with me.

 

I now have some falls to contribute, haha. They're from a few months ago. Abel was standing really well, considering it was an uneven, slippery rock. But...

And then one day, my cat decided that he looked comfortable. Personally, I don't think a hunk of resin is a nice pillow, but she did.

 

Atla was helping me unpack hades who'd just arrived and he fell into the box.

 

This was just the other day. A breeze just strong enough knocked Elly off the deck railing to about 20 feet below. Elly and the wig were easy to spot; can you find the hand?

 

The bottom of the laundry basket was more slippery than I thought. Rommie was standing perfectly, but then this happened:

 

Just happened. He's totally fine...and it was strange...his wig..like, was still perfectly stuck on his head. (no velcro or anything, just elastic) He just threw his face off. o.O

 

I was trying to get Michael to do a handstand, and this happened. It kind of looks like he tripped over something lol. It looks painful, but he was perfectly fine. This photo is actually what I wanted him to do.

 

Poor little Michael has been doing a lot of falling lately. When I commented that he and Rommie fell for each other, this isn't exactly what I had in mind:

 

Flea caught a flower, and was sitting on it thinking, when the flower got back at her.

 

When my dolls fall over, I usually rush to check them over and make sure they're fine. But of course, this time, I was taking a picture for a photostory. I had already hit the camera button when she fell!

 

Michael hasn't been having a good month. He was just standing there holding his lion and minding his own business when a gust of wind knocked him over backwards. Poor little guy...
