I love your HZ boys - you have three right? Do you have a pic of them all together? Would love to see it if you do.

 

Here are my HZ boys together - Feng in the middle is on the old larger body (and also wearing high heeled boots). Comparing the heads, Guhu (on the right) has the smallest head, Schuster Fei the largest. The FengWuYa sculpt is the same as Tian (he also came with Tian's paper)

Sadomina: Thank you for posting this pic. I second Mochi6 - that's a gorgeous shot. They are so regal looking and their faceups are wonderful. Makes me want one of each! (checks wallet and sighs sadly) All three are handsome fellows but I must admit that I think I have a huge crush on your Feng! He's such a babe!lol Regarding the head sizes - do they all still wear the same size wigs? I've seen most people suggest 8-9 for HZ boys but could Guhu do a 7-8 or Fei a 9-10? Just curious.

Mochi6: I meant to mention to you that it was actually a pic of your Sen that made me decide to finally buy Wang. I believe it was a flickr photo of him and two other dolls for resin color comparison. I wanted to see actual owner pics of this guy so I googled him and that was the one that made me say "OK - Gotta have him"! Can I ask what kind of eyes he has? I mean, obviously they are red, but are they HZ or another brand and what size mm are they? I know HZ currently doesn't have red so I may be needing a pair - depending on what color they send with mine. Not knowing, it's hard to determine if you'll keep the color they choose or not until you see them.

About the wig size: my Feng is wearing a 7-8 For my Doll wig. The wigs from this company are very stretchy. I also tried a 8-9 from For my Doll first, but it was quite large on him. Guhu is wearing a wig which came as gift from DollsSinging/Jeeryama ebay - in the description it says 9-10, but no way, this cannot be this size. I think it's a slim 8-9 wig, since Guhu's head is the smallest. Fei is wearing a 8.5-9.5 Dollheart wig.

 

Oh goodness, glad my photos helped out! He has glass glitter eyes I ordered at the same time from MoC. It's their own brand Scarlet Glitter - 16mm. Personally, I think the iris is a tad bit too big, maybe the 14mm or even 12mm might look better though they might be a bit gappy. Here is the link to the eyes. I originally wanted the red wing from the Wang Ye product photos but they didn't sell that style so went with the white and it softened his expression up a bit but I rather like it. Maybe down the line, I might switch his wig. His wig is an HZ wig that they don't sell anymore. It's too bad as it fits so nicely, even on my other SG size dolls.

 

Sadomina your boys look gorgeous as always About the wig size I found a 9 -10 is too loose and slides everywhere on my fei even with a wig cap. I think an 8 -9 would be best.

 

Thank you again! It's nice to have options and to know that a 7-8 For my Doll wig is an option. I'm usually afraid to buy smaller sizes because a lot of them just do not stretch at all.

Thanks for the link on the eyes. Does it matter which backing they have? As I'm sure you know, they have one flat and three different round ones. Does one work better than another? On wigs, I ordered the one on eBay that looks like the one in the product photos - the red with apricot stripes. I'm not sure if it's the exact same manufacturer or not but was a bit worried about the quality, if it was, since HZ had trouble with it. I got it today and it is beautiful. I think it will be just fine as long as it fits him when he gets here!

Thanks for the advice. I got a mental image of your poor little Senri with a wig flopping all over his little head and had to smile. Bless his heart - it's actually really frustrating when you plan a certain look, buy the perfect wig, wait for it to come in, and then it doesn't work. It's like grr!

Any advice on pants? I see a lot for 62cm and 70cm but not for 65cm. I bought a pair that is for 62cm but were long enough to cover the doll's shoes in the photo so I'm hoping they'll work. If not, I may have to get a pair of really high boots or pray for a flood to justify them! Thanks!

 

The ones I got had the thick blunt stem (Round back eye). I found having the stem makes them a bit easier to position. It always takes me forever to get them seated just right. There's enough room in the head to have the eyes with the stems but I've used flat ones as well and work just as fine. Glad you found a nice wig for him!

I finally found a wig that fits without the need for 3 wig caps to pad out Senri's head! I got an 8-9 from Monique and it fits his little head perfectly
It's really fluffy and platinum blonde, so he's playing the glam rockstar now.

 

Senri is such a bad boy.. with bad habbits =D New wig is really suits him well.

Soyala looks great in his new cloths. Lucky boy got someone who can sew for him. I can't sew to save myself. That hair of his really is long. Bet it's crazy to try and style when it's loose. The eye thing is a pain. I hope they somehow get to you. BTW your pics are fine, most of mine are just taken in my room with a scarfe or whatever is near at hand for a backdrop

 

thanks! Nah. He came with his gorgeous outfit, but he has no pants. so i just tried to sew something cause of lack of clothes. Cardigan and pants it's first things that i sew since primary school. i decided that it's better for him if i'll buy clothes instead of sewing it by myself. My photos also taken in my room. i just cropped it and hide cable under his feet using Photoshop. my camera is too old for good shots.
what about his hair - i have to re plait it every 2 or 3 days. (I did French braid for him yesterday. ^^)

wanna show you something. We will go to a doll-party this Saturday. The theme of the party is carnival. Since my sewing skill really poor, i sewn this post-apocalyptic/barbarian outfit(i don't know how to name the upper part)


and the whole look



he wears the pants that i already sewn for him, HZ boots and the new part is leather pauldron with cloth sleeve. I decorated pauldron with 3 spikes. I'm going to create a necklace for him too and add some more details on the pauldron

(and you know, i have very bad feelings that i'll buy one more Guhu.. head actually, from the marketplace from the russian bjd-forum)

 

He looks wonderful in his new outfit. The top you made looks perfect. I bet he turns a few heads at the party. I have never seen owner pics of the hz boots before but they look great too

My poor WangYe is still waiting for a real HZ body. Now he's on a FDoll boy body. And he's likely to stay there for a while to come because the budget this year doesn't include any HZ purchase

 

I'm here too. Just that time of year has kept me busy with other stuff. Think my boys are feeling neglected as I haven't taken a photo of them for around 2 weeks! Soyala is looking thoughtful (and of course beautiful!) sitting with the xmas decorations

For those who may not know - Cazzian is an HZ AoZhetian (who currently doesn't own a shirt) and LiJin is obviously an HZ WangYe sculpt. Both have original faceups.

well, first of all i bought this head for trainings. i do not want to remove Soyala's face-up, but i would like to try to make some face-up by myself. that's the main reason) maybe later this head become Soyala's alter-ego (without a body =D)

 

Xatshe the two resin colours are very close. I have never seen another HZ doll in person so i've never been able to compare. It could be fun having an alternative face for Soyala. One of my dolls is going to have two different heads.

 

waaayyyy back in august last year I began a layaway for a LE Wang Ye and a few outfits.
I'm currently still waiting, and MoC has no clue when they will send the order, and I'm not perturbed by having to wait longer.

I am happy because I finished paying him off now I am just waiting for him to come home.
I can't wait to join the board and show off my Anubis!
I'm planning on keeping his face up for awhile before figuring a way to accent it with golds for a more egyptian look, and maybe talk to some artists about tatoos that would look good. A friend is planning on making an anubis mask for him too.
This boy is going to be spoiled when he comes.

I think the HZ company has wonderful work and I can't wait to join you guys!
