      I think he has mellowed out and isn't as grumpy as before. He has friends now, I think it helps. He was 5 years old in November, my oldest. I have only had him 2 of those. He was in a box for a long time. Hmmm, maybe that was why he was grumpy.

    16. Lovely pic of Soyala out in the snow xatshe. I love snow photos. We don't get snow here in Melbourne the nearest would be a 3 hour drive inland to the mountains in winter.
      The fair hair does seem to suit them SteamWitch. Does Song have pink skin? Senri is meant to be pink but I have long had suspicions that he is more yellow skin tone. I like the way he is but he is definitely not at all pinky. I have had him for about 2 1/2 years and he is usually sheltered form the sun. He was a yellow tone when I got him and I thought that must be their idea of pink but the more I look at others pictures the more I think he is not. Never seen another hz boy irl so can't compare. Songs beauty spots remind me of the model Andreja Pejic. Have you seen her SteamWitch? You may just have to dress him up and do a catwalk shoot.

    17. Song is definitely yellow, a creamy old ivory yellow. I bought his head before I knew anything about BJDs except that I loved them. I bought a brand new AOD body in NY completely oblivious to resin match problems. Since God is good to children and fools, I was blessed that they matched perfectly. It wasn't until I was invited to DoA that I found out how extremely lucky I was.

      In the first photo, in natural light, it does seem that he is pinkish but he isn't. The second photo in the coffee shop is more his real color even though it is a bit more yellow because of the fluorescent lighting.

      As far as his beauty spots go, they match a friend of my granddaughter. I will look up the model you are referring to.:)

    18. i have a bad news. i talked to ok2la on flickr about Guhu and after that i also asked official russian dealer about it and here the answer: HZ said that Guhu will be discontinued soon. Now if you try to order WS Guhu you can't do it. now HZ sells last dolls in NS and after that Guhu can't be ordered. OTAKU Shop russian dealer also said that HZ told them this happen because of problems with joints and with removing seams from WS bodies. and maybe later they will show some pictures.
      what about others Otaku suppose that there also will be a big possibility that other molds will be discontinued too :...(

    19. That is a pity xatshe. I wonder are they not selling many. You don't see that many hz dolls around. I have never heard of problems with seam removal on white dolls only on the darker tan colors. I do hope they don't stop making dolls altogether.

      Edit: Mint on Card are stopping selling hz dolls and cloths except for in stock items so that doesn't look good.

    21. i see only HuiKa in stock. Jeereyama also marked Guhu as no longer available in white, so i don't know what to think T_T
      it's really not many HZ dolls around. and it's seems that HZ doesn't have any plans for releasing new molds(

    23. I don't know if it's just our (Aussie) dollar being low but the prices some of the hz stuff is on ebay (jeeryama) seems to have jumped up a lot too.

    27. I love the shape of hz eyes SteamWitch. They are different to any other companies and have a beautiful oriental look about them. If there are not going to be many more we will just have to keep spamming our gorgeous guys.
      Senri went to the opening night of a new club with fashion photographer/boyfriend Eric. Senri loves all the attention and getting his photo in all the magazines but Eric usually prefers to be behind the camera.

    33. You guys have such lovely dolls, I've been enjoying lurking in this thread and looking at them all <3 Kai is still around, even if I don't show him much. Still my feisty little guy.

      I am disappointed about HZ and their extreme price hike - their dolls were (sadly) never very popular, and I can't imagine this move will help much... but oh well, just means our boys will be more unique. I just did a little photographing of my oldest boys, which includes Kai <3

    34. I was thinking of selling my Ao Zhetian but decided to use him for another of my characters. He is getting a lolita girly boy makeover. His name will be Leander or Lea I'm going to try it out and see if he works for the character. Changed his faceup and painted his nails. Photos when the light is better.
      Edit: I remembered I got some extra hands in a split, one pair is very feminine and in NY though a bit lighter than his body. I don't know whether to sun yellow them or just use them as is. I will use them but should I blush them... hmmmm. Dilemma time.

    38. I made some jewelry for him this afternoon. The cuff does a good job of hiding the color difference. I had fun creating these from the gold braid and tiny nail gems.

    43. I actually have two RDG01s and they are very different. The older one, Ash, is 72cm and bigger all over than the one I got 14 months later. He, Evz, is 70cm and smaller all over. He can wear lots of SD clothing that Ash can't but pants are a bit short. If the 04 is like him but a 2cm shorter he is very slim muscular and hot :wiggle. I think it would be a good fit.

    44. Those white eyes really show the beautiful shape of Soyala's eyes xatshe. As for Ringdoll all three of mine are on RGM1 bodies. They are beautiful and slender but with amazingly well defined muscles. All I can say is Ringdoll bodies are very beautiful.

    46. The HZ eye shapes stand out as they are more oriental looking with the flick up at the sides. I find them very beautiful shape.

    51. Ringdoll heads are on the small side like HZ xatshe. I have noticed they fit similar wigs and the larger ones always slide off both. The proportions look pretty good. I have also seen that the new Ringdoll normal resin is paler than the old pure normal. It will be interesting to see Soyala on the taller more muscled body. Are you going to sell his old one or get another head for it?

    52. Kavarr i've never thought about buying new body for Soyala till i realized that his canonic 186 looks too small on his original body. i think about buying new body for Soyala and sell his old one. Soyala is WS so it's also may be a problem with resin difference

    54. That Ringdoll body is tan so it's not even close to the HZ normal. I don't have a normal skin Ringdoll but I want to get two for my SD Kanguk heads.

    58. I gave trying to sell my AoZ, I want to wipe his face and give him a new look. Dithering, pastel goth, full goth, shy boy, rock star, another alien for my crew. Any suggestions? The cross dressing thing didn't work out for either of us in the lolita look, perhaps another style for cross dressing?
