Hi everyone, I recently put in a pre-order for a head with a 10cm neck opening hole, and am wondering if I will need to do any modifications to the head for it to fit on a body. Would a body with a 9.4cm neck circumference be able to fit without modifications? I've seen on other posts here that around half a centimeter should be ok to not require modification, but I'm wondering if anyone has any example pictures or experience with a 0.5 to 1cm difference. I'm not worried about the proportions so much as any visible gapping around the neck or floppiness of the head. Or, if anyone knows any good 60 to 65cm bodies (girl) with a 10cm neck circumference, feel free to recommend those too!
it should be fine, it's only 6mm difference overall so that's a very small amount distributed all the way around. Teddy
It should be fine. If the head is a little loose you can stick a silicone disc in there to fill in the gap.
Thank you both! It's hard for me to visualize, but it helps to hear from both of you that it should be ok
Draw a circle the size of the socket in the head and, inside it, draw one the size of the neck, it might help, and as @Astro said, if it is a little looser than you'd like, add a Kip (silicone disc) to take up the extra space a little (which might also help with the head holding a pose) Teddy
