    1. Hello! Before I share my other dolls, I wanted to share my first ever BJD and was sad to learn she's now off-topic in DoA so I'm glad to discover Brigadoon!

      Back in 2011 when Lati Yellows became popular in my friend circle, I wanted one so bad but I couldn't afford them (I was a poor college student lol) so I got a Hujoo Baby Suve instead (to kinda test the waters and decide whether or not this hobby was something I want to invest time and money in).
      I ended up struggling with her faceup the most because I couldn't find an artist that would accept her size and she was ABS not resin. I was mostly focused on cosplay so I didn't spend time with my dolls much. It was only this year that I rekindled my interest in the hobby and so I made an actual effort of DIYing her faceup again.

      I thought at that time the faceup I did was pretty decent compared to previous attempts. But then I got a Lati Yellow and it bothered me. So I redid it again and this time I was finally satisfied (I actually avoided doing it again since acetone melts ABS but hopefully this will be the last time).

    2. She's adorable! I love that she has a matching outfit with your Lati, nothing tickles me more than seeing dolls in matching outfits.

      I don't have any Hujoo babies to show you, but I did entertain the idea of them for a long time before buying my first doll. I didn't end up doing so and I kind of regret it, but at the time I was a bit of a snob and never considered any doll that was off-topic for DOA. Now I'm more open to the idea, because there's some truly impressive dolls out there that don't make the cut for one reason or another, but now of course Hujoo is gone :(

    3. I'll always make them matching outfits
      I've only found one other Hujoo owner on Facebook and then she mentioned she's gonna send it to her sister as a birthday gift so I definitely had to make her matching outfits too!

    4. Aw, what a cutie! Her new faceup looks great, it really suits her.

      My very first BJD was a baby Hujoo too, for similar reasons. They really were great for collectors on a budget! I got my Nano Freya in 2019 and she definitely needs to be restrung at this point, but I'm still very fond of her.

    5. I'm actually bummed I didn't check back on Hujoo after Cleo because I definitely would have gotten a nano Freya too if I knew about them!

      I never got the baby but seeing yours I wish I did. I got a few Hujoo back when I got into the hobby specifically to customize. They are older but they have been this way since I bought and customized them. ;)
