40–49cm Dolls Huajing Doll 1/4 Uncle Body

After 12 days of eagerly watching my tracker, my headless naked little man arrived and I have to say for the price, I am very impressed.

Someone had great fun with a tape gun because the box was covered in tape but when I finally managed to get into it the box itself is a beautiful shade of blue and the logo is cute. It's magnetised for easy open/close and the magnet's surprisingly strong.





Inside you can see that there's no padded cloth thing but there is a lot of bubblewrap and other padding. When I opened that up I could see the other bits I ordered which was the rest of the stand, a $1 pair of boots and the extra hands on top of the body



I'll spare you all the amount of unwrapping I had to do. Hands, feet, elbows, knees and head were all very well wrapped. I also got a lovely little peach drawstring bag full of penises which had me laughing. After all of that I finally managed to unearth him. I got the three-part torso version to facilitate better movement and I'm very impressed with the sculpting. I'm also amused at the penis magnet. All my other boys have sculpted on ones but this is brilliant.



After far too long putting the stand together, I decided to use it to take the standing photos but he's actually really good at standing even without that, the bottom of his feet are completely flat and that really helps.



He's a little paler than I would have liked, but the resin is beautifully smooth. He is very tightly strung at the moment and there was a moment of worry when I couldn't pull the hands out anywhere near far enough to change them. Turns out, the s-hooks are the really long kind and you have to make sure they're right orientation to pull them through the slot at the wrist. I'm not usually fearful of changing heads or hands but with how tight the elastic is, I didn't want to try. I'm also not sure whether the little thing on his neck is meant to be there all the time or if I'm supposed to remove that to put a head on. I've only got a too-small wrong-skin-tone temporary head for him and getting that on was too much of a faff for right now.










He poses really well and the only issues I've had thus far could probably all be solved with a re-string and maybe some sueding. His torso movement is more than acceptable and his arms and legs are brilliant although his elbows have a sculpted-on bit at the back which means some of their movement has to happen in a specific way. His hips aren't the best but they're not the worst either.

The penises are a consistent amusement to me. I got three but two of them seem to be the same.


The magnets on them are acceptable but not brilliant and they kind of hang there when they're attached, so they will sway (which I suppose is realistic) you've also got to be careful when moving legs and such around or you can knock the penis off. I wanted to show a picture of them attached but somebody developed a sense of modesty.





All in all, for $170 I am deeply, deeply impressed. Now onward to getting this man some clothes and a head.

 

It does seem like it's got the special hand system, there's a little notch to rest the S-hook in to change hands. It's not the worst system but since it wasn't really announced (at least on the English-speaking side of things) I was momentarily freaked out by it. I'm sorry your body arrived in less pretty packaging

I hope your boy gets to you quickly and you like him as much as I do. For the price the quality is amazing.

I suspect he'll be an even better poser once either the elastic has relaxed a little bit or I get fed up and just restring him entirely. The musculature was something of a draw, as was the height and the sculpting is very impressive.
