If I'm working with white resin, does anyone know how to tint it in the pot like the casting companies and doll companies do to get for instance a flesh toned color? Or what materials they're using? I might start adding drops of watercolor or acrylic. Thanks in advance.
They use special resin dyes, like this one: http://www.smooth-on.com/Urethane-Rubber-an/c6_1118_1202/index.html I find that that sampler is more than sufficient, you only need to add a tiny bit of dye to each batch to get enough color. The sampler also has a fleshtone color dye which makes it easy to create fleshtones, and if you want to mix your own fleshtone there are the primary colors as well.
