How to Make an Ankle Foot Orthotic

To make an ankle foot orthotic (AFO,) you will need:

A boot pattern (I adapted a pattern from here)
Two pieces of craft felt, any colors
Sewing equipment
Eyes from hooks and eyes
Marking items, like pencils
Scissors
Thin cardboard, like from a cereal box
Craft glue
Hot glue
Thin ribbon or string

1. Resize the boot pattern as needed. Print and cut out the sole and sides. The tongue isn't needed for the AFO....
