(Mods, I hope this is allowed. If not, please let me know. Also, I'm not sure if she counts as a custom or not, so I put her here.) Story Time: With no plans of getting any more, I have one Dollfie, a (spoiled!) OG Hatsune Miku. When the Volks vote for what doll should be rebooted came up, I voted for Sakura Miku (and Luka!) every day. I seriously considered getting a Sakura Miku, but soon realized that my Miku is the only one I needed, and that I only wanted the outfit for her. I doubted that anyone would be willing to sell me just the outfit, so I came up with a plan. I would make my own Sakura Miku. I found someone that makes a version of the full outfit, some pink shoes, a pink wig and pink Follow Me eyes (because I prefer them for Miku.) I also managed to find knit cherry keychains at a craft store. With a little bit of crafting, I put everything together. So now I have my very own Sakura Miku! I even re-created some of the poses from the official Volks Sakura Miku page. I hope you like her! This might be cope, but I actually like your version better. I have this thing for custom dolls (it's how I got into this hobby, really!) so when I see someone making the doll they want when they can't afford the original? It just tickles me, because they'll put their own little spin on it somewhere. Besides - I like to think Miku being the little virtual diva she is will not be happy until she has terabytes of outfit changes available, so it just makes sense to have it be a costume change rather than a twin.
Thank you! It was fun, and at times frustrating, looking for everything to make my Miku into Sakura Miku, but once everything arrived, it was pretty fun painting and putting it all together. Also, I managed to get quite a few of Miku's official outfits, which were expensive, but to me, well worth the money effort. Ryu
I found the outfit from Alice's Collection. I'm not sure who the seamstress was, but I had to wait until they finished the outfit before it was shipped. I think it was well worth the wait. Thank you! I like the original, but I love mine! Ryu
Thank you! I've always loved her as well, so making my one and only Dollfie Dream into a Sakura Miku was a no-brainer. Ryu
