How Old Are You (continued)

I'm 27 and just now waiting on my first BJD. 27 doesn't seem old, in theory, but I'm already starting to forget my age. For a few months, I was 80% sure I was 28 already. Literally had to pull out my license and do the math. To make matters worse, my SO and my own mother really couldn't tell me one way or the other until I did aforementioned math.

So, apparently, I'm ancient.

 

I'm 20, and have been in the hobby for a little over a year. I started with Blythes, and then kinda got sucked into BJDs by that way. :P I feel like Blythe is a gateway drug to BJDs....

 

I am 33. I started collecting dolls about two years ago. Just getting into bjd now

 

I'm 22 and waiting for my first doll now!

 

25. Been collecting dolls since I was 17. But it sure is easier now than being a broke teen!

I'm turning 21 this summer, it doesn't sound much, but it feels like more because I teach kids aged from 12 up in a drawing workshop.

 

I love seeing that I'm not the only young (13-17) year old teenager in the hobby.

 

I'm 36, started collecting dolls in general at age 5. I started collecting bjd's at age 26

 

I`m 47, getting 48 next Thursday.Collecting Dolls nearly 10 years now.My first BJD about 3 years ago.

I think age don't matter for BJDs as long as you like

 

I'm 33 and started collecting BJDs when I was 30. I have never collected any dolls before then!

I'm 29 turning 30 in August. Got interested in the hobby around nine or ten years ago... Waited six years before ordering my first doll. Nope, I'm not to old for this. Just need to get it across to people that these dolls are not life size, nor for anything sexual in nature. Oh the things people think when they hear 'doll'

 

I was 17 when I started and in less than a week I'll be 21.

 

I am 28 and I have been in this hobby for 10 years! I think I'll stick around for another 10 years :p

I'm 21 and i have loves these dolls for years now! But i finally gathered enough courage to buy one.

 

I have been admiring the hobby from afar for years, but finally took the plunge this year. I am 31 years old.

 

I'm 18 years old, but I think, that person is never too old for this hobby. Everybody can enjoy dolls and living with them.

 

I'm 21 now, I joined this hobby and got my first doll in 2008 when I was 14. My collection today is so much bigger than I could've imagined 7 years ago, and I still loves this hobby just as much as I did back then.

 

Been interested for a few years and got my first doll at 17, I'm still 17. Takes a while to save up but it's really totally worth it!

 

I'm 22 and a total newbie, not surprised at seeing so many different ages! A lot of the customization projects I've seen obviously require years and years of expertise OAO;; I would probably not have gotten interested when I was younger!

 

I've been interested in the hobby since I was 15, got my first doll at 17 and I'm turning 19 on the 20th of this month.

I personally feel like there is no age limit for dolls.

I'm 23 and like a lot of other people I have also been interested in BJDs for a long time.. since I was about 15, I think. However, the fear of growing out of it or losing interest has kept me from getting one, but I'm still here and still want one

 

I am currently 27 years old and new to the bjd hobby. I do not think anyone is too old for these dolls!

 

Going on 30 here. You're never too old for dolls. NEVER.

I'll be 43 in June. I've been following, lurking, and talking about the doll hobby for years. I got my first one from my wife as a Christmas present last year, when she realized I wasn't joking all this time.

Now that I am "out of the closet" regarding my love of dolls I have three already plus a headless Dollfie Dream waiting for inspiration and and Iplehouse SID on my wish list, hah!

Hi i have just turned 30 and am waiting on my first girl coming in. I've paid for her and she should arrive this week. i've just got to find her a body now. hopefully that wont take long.

Hi! I'm 27, and accomplish 28 on April 27. My boyfriend gave me my first BJD for my birthday and I'm waiting for it! It is a Iplehouse Amy!

 

OMG, everybody so young, I am 44, have 2 daughters 13 and 10, they got me into this :-). we have 10 BJDs and 2 dragons on their way .

 

I'm 22, always been interested in dolls since I was a kid! Found out about BJDs a few years ago and today I have three girls at home, one on preorder and one on layaway. I also collect several off topic brands

 

I'm 38 and just got my first 2 BJDs! I have been collecting Blythes for a while, as the world of BJDs was so overwhelming I did not know where to begin. I then also added some Pullips. I disliked Pullips standard bodies so much I rebodied them to Pure Neemo ones, so when I saw a DIM Aria Pure Neemo hybrid I though she would be the perfect introduction to BJD. Not long after that I was hooked on BJDs, and started looking for the right BJD for me.

Can I just say... it doesn't feel like 3 years. xDD And I still love my first, my Doll love Arefa, just as much

 

I'm 20, 21 at the end of this month! I've always wanted a BJD since I was about...12-13? I finally have my first! She was an early birthday gift from a friend. She's had two owners before me, but I'm overly proud to make her at home with me!
