Do you take pictures of the same dolls all the time? How often do you take the pictures? Do you have a favorite that you like to photograph more often than the other dolls? Geri
Well, at the moment I only have got one doll. And I don't make very often pictures of her, which bothers me, I want to make lots of more pics of her. Though, I've got to take the time for that. When my Narae arrives, I want to make more pictures when my Narae arrives. Then I'll probably make lots of shots with the two of them together.
I love taking pictures of my dolls, I prob take a bunch every week, when I have time, friend comes over with her dolls or when I go on a ride with my parents they take me to places that are great to take pics.I often take all my dolls and they get there turn. But I tend to take more pictures of Crescent then anyone since she's spoiled and is my only girl ^^
Jeez, ALL the time, they get pictures taken at least every other day, usually every day, although the pictures are not by any means all studio shots. The majority of it's snapshots of silliness or clothes fittings, things like that Of the two, Trys is undoubtedly the camera hog of the family, mainly because most of his clothes fittings take forever (he squirms appallingly whenever you try to fit him for anything) and I take pictures to show interested parties the progress
@_@ All the time. Every day. Like, seriously, I think it must be an obsession. XD I usually take at least 100 pics in any one session; usually around the 250 mark. Most of them just get saved to my HD and never go anywhere - I usually just pick out 10 - 20 good ones to post on my DA or something...... It doesn't even take that long (or at least I don't notice time flying away); usually about half an hour per session... I'm just snap-happy. XD! I'm turning into my mother. T_T;; I think she's slightly worse than I am though...... XD
Not even CLOSE to often enough. Most people here haven't even seen my dolls, except for the occasional shot. Part of that is my appallingly bad skills and part is that I have two soft-resins running around demanding my time And part is my plain old laziness. But hey. I'll get there. They deserve it.
My only model was my the only girl here which is my best model.I shoot her picture almost everyday except this day I'm kinda busy working so din get the chance.I love taking pictures so she's the first always get it.
I don't even have a camera. I have no plans of getting one in the near future. Friends I've met in this hobby maintains photoshoots and coming up with stories is one of the best things about the hobby. I guess so. *chuckles* Just having Wu is enough for me at the moment. The time for showing him off to the world can wait.
Only have one boy, so he's the lucky subject in every photoshoot that I do! I take dolly photos every day too; it's just a part of the hobby that I really really enjoy. Sometimes indoor shoots at home, but when the weather's good, or I'm up for an outing, I'll head outdoors to the Botanic gardens that's like 5 mins walk away, or to the city, which is 10 minutes away for some photos with Jun. So it can take me anywhere from 30 minutes (indoors, with just a couple of photos; posing him takes time too!), or a couple of hours (solid, dedicated photoshoot, most likely outdoors). They're not all studio quality, either, but they're half decent, and after culling the lot, I'll get a nice number of clear, in focus photos that I like (hopefully).
I've only just got my doll (she arrived yesterday), and i've already used up all the memory on my camera phone!!! i can't wait to actually get a decent camera!
Put me on the 'constantly' list XD We taker pictures every chance we get! Resizing them and putting them where people can see them, now THAT is where I'm lazy >.>;;
Not nearly as often as I'd like to. I tend to do photostories more than photo shoots, and my life situation at the moment means that I just don't have the time to spend setting things up, taking the photos, editing them and then scripting dialogue and writing the whole thing up nearly as often as I'd like to. When something major happens, like the arrival of a new doll or something, I'll make time, but on the whole I'm looking forward to having time again in the summer to photograph my boys properly again. As for the other question: Ilú, without a doubt. I'll always take pictures of all three of my boys in the same shoot (I feel bad leaving one of them out, hehe), but it's always Ilú who gets the lion's share of the attention.
ooh fun topic! How often do you take the pictures? I try to do at least one photo shoot a week, unless I am travelling or really busy It seems to turn out 2x/3x per month. Do you take pictures of the same dolls all the time? Do you have a favorite that you like to photograph more often than the other dolls? No, I try to rotate, although new dolls tend to get preference. I love shooting Hannya (Supia60) most of all and Nikopol (Hound), London is my new love (Migidoll Ryu).
I take loads, nearly every day, some of posed shots in my light tent, others just snaps that I burn to disc. I dont have a particular fav, but do tend to take pics of Rory alot, as he is a mnf and easy to take out for shoots in parks etc, and if im going somehwere with my camera I do tend to bring him to, just incase a nice snap opportunity comes up. plus he is the only one with a LJ and tend to keep it updated pretty regular.
As often as we come up with something new, be it new place, new faceup, new body-blushing, new clothes, etc. Plus sometimes they get daily shots just doing things around the house ^^ I think that usually comes down to at least one shoot per week.
I love taking pictures of my dolls. That's part of fun of playing with them. Every time I get a new outfit, I take bunches of pictures of whoever lands up in new duds. I figure I take pictures atleast every other week. I try to rotate my dolls, but my best poser is Dorian (Dollmore Amos). He stands wherever I plop him, and he has such attitude.
As long as the light's good enough, I'll take one of my dolls aside and take pictures every single day - though I don't do elaborate photoshoots/photostories very often, it usually ends up being a few headshot-type pictures. I try to take equally many pictures of my boys and girls, but on the whole it's Arai, my Cyber Bohemian Shiwoo, that I have the most pictures of. He just loves the camera.
First and (partially) foremost I'm in love with my camera and have been since I got it. Now it seems I’m in love with my Klaudey too but as he's the only doll at the moment, he's centre stage ( About to get into some competition in about 4 weeks by my new boy >3; ). Perfect excuse to take photographs methinks. I tend to end up doing (rather rubbish) photostories rather than productive art for arts' sake shoots, which is sad because most of my pictures are amusing rather than 'pretty'. I take far too many pictures of him, usually daily, if not, at least 4 times a week ( .. Ok, lies, at the least 7 days a week ). I've come to the conclusion I have a very small social life. I fear he's made me want a new camera and a light tent as well. Well, I blame him anyway. <___<; He's just so damned photogenic.
I enjoy taking pictures, but unless I'm incredibly inspired it will often feel like a chore (which really isn't what I want) So only when I'm occasionally inspired
I usually take pics everyday, or at least 4-5 days out of the week. But I always do doll related things, or have then around me. ^_^ I probably upload a full memory card of pics every week, more or less. *nods* I'll admit I take more pictures of Yuki than Ichi, because he is simply more... "himself." Ichi dosn't have his tatoo or piercing yet, or really even the correct clothes. o.o He will soon though... >.> lol
I take pictures of them every couple of days. When I get inspired I would take them everyday. I don't take pics of the same ones all the time. Which one has his or her pics taken the most? Mmmm my Shiwoo, Cebee and Homme Ducan has the most pics so far I think. My poor Kirill doesn't get photographed much. =T
At the moment, Kiril's the only guy hanging at my house But I take pictures of him (even if they're not good) from the second I come home/have time to the time I absolutely HAVE to stop (sleep, food, or my camera dies -- unless I have spare batteries ) I don't even let weather stop me. He's not completely Kiril yet (missing his tattoo and piercing), but the amount of inspiration he gives me day in and day out is incredible I luffers my Kiril, and so he gets LOTS of camera time!
I take pictures all the time... Daily, almost... Though I don't always take more than a few shots at a time, and I don't post them that often. I try not to play favorites, but it's hard not to pick up Jen or Kess when I'm going out somewhere with my camera in-hand. Those two are very easy to work with and always do well on camera, so I'm a little biased towards them when it comes to photography. Teacup, Kosetsu, Amber and Will also lend themselves very well to that sort of thing... I really have to work at reminding myself to take pictures of some of the others, though. I'll just overlook taking along the less photogenic members of the crew unless I make myself remember them. My favorite two locations on the Eastside are Marymoor Park and the Bear Creek river-walk. The bulk of my outdoor pictures are taken in one of those two areas. In Seattle proper, there's a wonderful old Victorian cemetery across from Volunteer Park that provides some perfect settings and backdrops... I spend a fair bit of time there, too.
