How much hair to make a 1/4 wig?

depends on what kind of fiber you’re using! only the length of the hair can really be measured in cm though... like how long you want the hairstyle to be lol that’s up to you.

what kind of material are you expecting to use? yarn, alpaca, synthetic, etc?

 

If you're using pre made wefts, about 1 weft and half, depending on how thick you want the wig (so 1mt and half, or a little less)

 

Dependents on the fiber and the style you're going for! For a basic middle part sewn wig I've used 1m~1.5m wefts (premade, synthetic fiber).

 

I used premade wefts of straight synthetic hair for my girl and I was making a very dense wig. I ran out of the first pack (1m weft) so I bought a second one and used half of that.
I suggest 2 meters of wefts to be on the safe side?
Edit: it also depends on how dense the actual weft is and how closely you are going to sow them

It depends on how long you want the hair. I suppose that you are not using the same amount of hair for an afro look and for a more less lean hair look.
