Ordering How many feet did I order?

Aug 11, 2023

    1. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed. I ordered a Dreaming Doll Mercur Judy head on the Queen Elva body. I wanted the heel feet, flat feet, and the heel legs. Per their instructions, I ordered a Queen Elva doll and left a message asking for the Judy head instead. I also added the Elva16 heel legs and asked them to swap for Queen Elva heel legs (Queen Elva heel legs weren't listed as optional parts).

This is a screenshot of my order:

I'm checking my order status today (as I obsessively do), and I got to wondering - how many pairs of feet did I order? Here is a screenshot of me re-creating my doll order:

The text is fuzzy, but to the left of the blue bar, it says, "Heel Leg Parts(additional options)" [emphasis added]. It occurs to me that normally, you don't spend an extra $149.50 for feet, which is the amount that was added to the Elva Olivia order.

So, here's my guess: I think I'm getting three pairs of heel legs and two pairs of heel feet.

      Care to venture a guess?

    2. From what I understood when I was window shopping last time, "high-heel+flat" is the option to get regular legs with both high heel and flat feet options. Then "heel leg parts(additional options)" gives you the option to add whichever leg/foot option that you did not choose. so on your order. it looks like you have make up, your body will come with the regular legs with high heel and flat feet, you added another high heel and flat feet in the options, then you added high heel legs to your cart separately.

So from what I can tell you have two pairs of heel feet, two pairs of flat feet, two pairs of heel/flat legs, and one pair of heel legs :XD: How recently did you order? Maybe they could correct it for you :blush Also don't be hard on yourself because it's kind of confusing how they have it set up.

    3. @Novalyna - ah, thank you!
Actually - I'm happy to keep them. Always good to have extra feet.
I'm ... a little strange that way. :wiggle

    4. SO many feet!

Well, I have been known to order extra feet when possible with the intention of making shoes (it is easier than worrying about ruining their "good" feet). And they can be used to test dying, etc.

But still, that is a LOT of feet! Dreaming Doll might be a little puzzled haha - but I hope they get everything correct and that you receive your order in a timely fashion!

    5. The final tally is in!
Two pair of heel legs, one pair of flat feet, and one pair of heel feet.
Getting ready to post an unboxing. She is gorgeous. The Mercur Judy head fits perfectly, and I love the sculpting.
