How many BJDs do you have? (2017-2018)

I have only one doll. In May, it will be seven years already. I'm too selective.) But soon, if everything goes well, I will have a second doll. And maybe, in another 7-10 years - the third, but I'm not sure. I definitely do not want 199 dolls in my house.

 

I have 12 bjds, and about 4 floating heads. My SD floating head is sharing a smartdoll body with my smartdoll.
I have been trying to resist myself from getting another bjd. but maybe perhaps just another head or two XD

 

I have 5 MiniFees, 1 PukiPuki, 1 Feeple60 and 2 floating heads.... Fairyland powa

I have 14. all is yosd size

 

7 full dolls (including 2 tinies) and 3 floating heads. Those heads need bodies, but I'm super picky when it comes to those, so... it may take a while.

 

I have two full dolls, one on the way, and one headless modding project! Lol

 

I haver 3 complete Dolls, 2 of which i only use for display and the occasional pose change and photography, and another i use for play and photography! i also have 1 floating head and one doll that needs a LOT of work.

 

That's very impressive to have 100 or more dolls (or even between 50 and 100). How do they all fit in a room ?
Personally I got 5, and would like in the future 3 others. I also have 9 Pullip and a Blythe, so that's already a nice dolls family

 

*LOLOL* That is a very good question and the answer is: they don't. I finally managed to split mine almost 50-50 between a spare room we have and that I set up for doll pictures. They're starting to encroach on my walk space again though, so more need to go to the doll room. It'd be easier of they were smaller dolls, but my scale is between 65-73cm for the most part. Shelves are a good answer too!

I have...
- 2 SDs (+2 incoming SDs)
- 3 MSDs (+1 incoming MSD)
- 2 YoSDs (+2 incoming YoSDs)
- 7 floating heads (+1 incoming head)

So, I will have 12 full dolls and 8 floating heads in total once the incoming dolls/heads arrive. Unfortunately I also have some floating heads. Some of them need a body urgently... that’s the worst.

 

I currently only have 1 full doll, 2 more on the way and 2 floating heads. Definitely need to get my floating heads their body soon..

 

Oh lord. You should give them a body soon! I gathered too many floating heads, and those poor creatures now live in my drawer kept in the dark. That’s so sad.

I’ll be hunting for bodies next year, I suppose. Finding matching bodies is hell for me... it’s just that I’m too picky, and especially looking at the male bodies it’s hard to find a body that’s more slender and less shredded.

Yeah i do understand what you mean, i'm not that picky about resin matches but they still have to match the skin tone at least 90% for me. And yes, i totally agree, it's so hard to find the perfect body, some are just too muscular for my liking.. Good luck on hunting for your perfect body, i hope you'll find one soon!

 

I have 4 BJDs, all SD sized and 1 floating head which I would like to get a body for but probably won't be able to any time soon!

 

The first BJD appeared six months ago... Now I have 2 BJD (MSD format), 1 face without a body, 2 girls (Tiny format) I'm waiting for)) and a wish list - afraid to look

 

2 months ago I had none, and now I have 4 complete dolls purchased second hand, another one on the way, 1 fullset ordered, and one body ordered to go with a floating head I also recently purchased. They are all different sizes. I guess I'm trying to figure out what really works for me. I should probably slow down for a bit, and focus on the ones I have. Maybe...

 

Floor to ceiling shelving and using every inch you can. In my case, 80% of my BJDs are Yo-SD and smaller. So you can display a lot in compartmental shelving units.

Wow, I answered this in March 2017 and my answer was ‘five soon to be six’. My current answer is 12, soon to be 16. I am stopping a while when the new four come in, because I’ll have all the dolls on my original list from 2015 when I started the hobby (plus some extras).

I really need to stop as I’m running out of space in my bedroom too. Dollies everywhere!

 

Currently I have nine. Five Dollfie Dreams, three Fairylands, and one Volks SD13 boy.

 

God I didn't know people have 100+, but of course if I could, I would own as many as I could. At the moment, I have two SD boys: a Dikadoll Qisu and Doll Chateau Mephisto

 

I now have 4, 3 of which are set up in my room. I live with my parents, but they don’t enter my room very often. I have a bet going with myself on how long it will take either of them to notice the extra two.

So far I’ve hit a month and a half...

Right now I own two dolls, one dollfie dream girl and one volks SDgr boy. But I've ordered two more dolls and I'm currently waiting for them to be shipped. One spiritdoll smart girl body with a SQ lab head and one iplehouse fid boy

 

6 right now. I try to have 10 maximum, when it happened to me to have more, I didn't take care of them enough !

 

I only have two at the moment. I'm planing on getting my third one soon though. It seems my pattern is getting a new doll once a year. I just don't have the funds yet to buy a lot and I prefer getting my dolls new clothes, wigs etc. instead of getting more dolls.

 

I was kinda worried how my bjd collection seems to be getting bigger and bigger over time.
Seeing this thread relieves me, it's really hard to resist when you fell in love with the sculpt x )

 

I have 11 dolls before but I rehome some of them these day, now I only have 6 dolls, they all yosd size

 

I only have one right now, but I'm working/saving to get another soon hopefully!!

 

Enough to wonder when they're going to pay their share of the rent. I mean, they are quiet roommates, but still...

 

I have 28 full dolls， includes 12 larger dolls and 10 msd dolls and 6 dd dolls. Love them all! I also have lots of heads, I like collect different version of one head.

 

Just 2, and I'm happy with both (though the second won't show up until 5 months later). It took me a long time to decide on the perfect faces, so I'm content despite all the $$$ involved. @u@

 

I never counted them before, I have 27 BJDs and 1 order I'm waiting for.

I have an Aileendoll dragon, but sadly no humans. I would love to get one soon and have been shopping around for some time. Sadly I haven't found the right one yet.

 

Currently only 1, plan to get tons of tinies though and only one more big doll for my boy companion.

 

Well, I had to change my vote... I now have over 50. Or I will have when my order from Angelesque gets here. I'll have 52 dolls and one floating head. Two of them are OT Dollzone babies - they're the smallest I have currently - and the largest is Resinsoul Yi.

 

I currently have 5 total, and even that is a little impressive to me Cx

I only have two three with me right now, two full SD dolls, and a yoSD. One is off getting a faceup and body blushing, and the other should be coming home soon ish. : D

I have 8 full dolls one of witch shares a body with the 9th head. ......I started the hobby in feb. ....my wallet is ripe to shreds peeps!

 

It's sad to realize that 3/4 of your crew are floating heads and that in reality, you have less full dolls than you thought.

 

I just have the three. I do plan on adding more though... (my wishlist is a mile long).

I just recently received my first doll but I
Know I already want 1-2 more minifee and a luts girl. So I will definitely end up with more just not sure how many more.

I have five but very soon it’s going to be six... I already felt like it was far too many at four! But I have a feeling I’ll eventually reach up to twelve. I bought a lot of nice doll outfits I want to display

2 and 2/2 because I've got two floating heads. In my lifetime I've owned 4 full dolls and 3 floating heads.
