    2. I like the last picture, very striking~

    3. These look pretty good. The only suggestion I have is that in general, when replacing a background, it can help a lot to make sure to blur all of your edges. For example, in the last image, his strap edge is still pretty jagged and I think if you ran the blur tool over it, it'd look better. ^^

    4. I've noticed that you only use the doll image and a background. This is fine but since you're still beginning with the tools the bright backgrounds only highlight your mistakes. I would suggest going with darker backgrounds or adding something in the middle ground to make the photoshopping less obvious.

    5. Hello there,

I have to agree with Buckybear, solid edges are the key if you are swapping the background out.
My only concern that I have is that the lighting of the doll isnt matching with the background.
You can tell that you took a photo with a flash and the backdrop is way to dark. Brighten it up might could help :)
The third pictures looks already very good but still lacks contrast.

    6. Very good pictures! Make sure to cut the edges of the doll pretty close to the clothes and doll itself, take your time (it pays off in the end!) then just take the blur tool and go over all the edges :) Other than that, your lighting is spot on and you have positioned the doll in a meaningful pose which puts emotion thought into the photo.

    7. If your using Photoshop, you don't have to blur the edges with the blur tool. Once you've 'selected' the doll's outline (using whatever manner you choose, magnetic lasso, or pen tool making a path). Go to Select > Modify >Feather and put in maybe 2pixels, that will give you a soft edge in one quick step.

I like the background of the first one the best! It's bright, just like the doll.

    8. It's pretty good, but I suggest if you decide to blur the edges you should decrease the brush size so that blur isn't as obvious.

    9. the first one looks over exposed...the rest are okay.

    10. As a photography major, I've always been told by professors to really watch your exposure. Try diffusing the light of the flash by holding a mirror in front of it, or covering it with white tissue paper. The last one is super cute, but make sure to see how much you've boosted the contrast. Really great for using PicMonkey, though!
