Maintenance How do I restring Fairyland Wings v2?

I got a pair of the Fairyline Pegasus Wings (Version 2) a few years ago. One of the wings wouldn't rotate so I unstrung them to fix the issue. However, I can't figure out how to finish disassembling the wing the restring it and the elastic is stuck!

With the older wings, the elastic threaded all the way through and wrapped around the upper portion of the wing. These (v2) have rubber stoppers to hold the upper wing in place with a short channel in the lower portion and a piece that rotates 180 degrees that I can't figure out how to remove. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
