Shipping How bad I messed up? Granado

    1. Hi!

      Was ordering Granado body 70Adagio + ballet feet + jointed hands. Was late, I didn't feel tired but apparently was. I had very recently changed my phone (the device itself), and my address, moved to a different country. Everything kept struggling, couldn't access my bank account - safety block for 6 hours, etc, etc. I successfully created my account on Granado website. Filled the shopping basket. Paid by PayPal. That little rascal entered my old billing address as shipping address. Because I still use the old bank, bank is fine with that. PayPal doesn't allow address change to a different country. They say it's ok to have another PayPal profile in another country but I don't have a bank account in the new country. And anyway it's too late now for this specific order.

      Now the old address is on my order, not the new one that I entered in my Granado profile. I wrote an e-mail and a message on their Q&A Board. No answer yet. Did I just lose a big chunk of money? If the order gets shipped there, I'm not there, my name is not on the door any more, that apartment was sold, there are strangers living now, plus it's a multiapartment building, the courier will not know what door to ring at to ask (that's if they care at all)...

      I could provide proof of the new address if Granado answers at all.

      I feel like a total idiot.

      Anyone experienced something like this? Was it solved?

    2. Granado's customer service is usually pretty good, so for now, you should just wait for their reply.

      They usually reply pretty quickly, however, the Golden Week holidays have just started in China, so their replies might be delayed.

    3. Thank you! Relieved some of my anxiety. Holidays is ok, means even if they do not answer, they also don't ship to wrong addresses!

I have the same issue with my Paypal (shows wrong country because I've moved a lot) but it's always been easily solved by messaging the seller - most double check the address (especially if it has been a long pre-order) and get in touch if something is wrong, too. It's a few different holidays going on right now (1st of May delays, many asian holiday weeks at the same time) so they might take a bit to get back to you but I'm sure they are also interested in shipping going smoothly. In the absolute worst case scenario you can do a cashback through PP.

      tl;dr - don't worry! It's a common problem and will be easily solved :)
