I think thinking she may be in high demand in the lotteries here, so I'd snag her if I were in your shoes. Yo-Megu is too precious to miss out on. Another bonus: she's not very large so she should be very light in carry on~

Is this the first time a yo-'four sisters' has been officially released for lottery over here?

 

I think the Four Sisters were available during Dolpa 4 and also during the New York Dolpa 3.

 

KL said that she wasn't completely sure, but it's possible that Yo Megu comes. :3

I have my eyes on the SD16 one, so... X3

 

But compared to the Four Sisters from the previous lotteries I think that this coming Dolpa's Yo-SD Megu's faceup tops them all.

 

That SDGrG Mark knocked me out. I've tried my boy's head on a SD13 body so I know he makes a lovely girl, but WOW . . .

The SD16 Megu made me go "ARGH THAT'S THE NOT-FOR-SALE MEGU I FELL IN LOVE WITH AT DOLPA!" She is truly, truly lovely. The problem is not purely financial (though mostly), but more that the character she'd fit needs sunlight skin. And I love the steampunk outfits but have no steampunk characters. I do, however, have a Japanese elementary student MSD, so I totally need the gym clothes set!

Also, the more I see F-49 and F-50, the more awesome I think both heads are.

 

The face up of the megu is always the most beautiful ! ! but so expansive in second market...

 

I am thinking of going for Lucy. I wonder what my chances of actually getting her are.

 

I have a question for you guys who might know! The gym outfits for MSD: I know the red randoseru is for girls, and black is for boys. But both of the gym outfits seem like the girl ones. (I've never seen boys wearing the bloomers.) Are they boy/girl outfits?

 

Yes, I've seen the Y!J prices. That alone scared me off from even wanting her for a while. T_T;;

The steampunk suits are cute, but I've gotten wary of Volks cutting corners with the cheap materials lately. I know they've always been overfond of snaps, when the price suggests they oughtta use buttons-- but y'know that Black Python set from the last offering? = the laceup rings on the back of the vest are jump-rings. Cheap jump-rings, too, bends like buttah. Gah. Too hit & miss lately.

Am also wondering about the shoes-- one of the steampunk-models is wearing those sexy slouchy pirate boots from Masamune Date's fullset. Does that mean they're going to be selling those boots regularly?

So many links and thumbnail photos are wrong on the Dolpa page. 0_o is somebody on vacation or something?!

 

I'm pretty sure the red shorts are for the girls, the indigo shorts for the boys.

Ironically I never did see those particular gym clothes when I lived there, as the elementaries I taught at had unisex gym clothes, but they still did have pretty darned short shorts . I wonder if the caps are reversible like the real ones are.

Really loving the steampunk collection but feel especially drawn to the SD17 F50. Didn't care for those first promo photos of him when he was released, but these clear shots of him totally have me in trouble...

 

Yeah, I didn't really think they were over their taunting habits yet-- they keep torturing us with models wearing limited/never-for-sale boots & wigs (that model Genji in the last Kobe Dolpa, I'm *still* gunning for his wig). I am lucky there is a Masamune in the house who doesn't care for his pirate-boots.

That blue kimono set is delicious, but last time I fought for & won the right to buy one o' those kimono sets, USPS screwed me by never delivering it... so I'm hesitant to jinx myself again. On the other hand, I'm not sure I'll be able to resist that MSD boys' steampunk suit. Dawwww, jeezis is that cute.

 

Volks really isn't helping me with my I think I kind of NEED an MDD with that Nomi in a red wig.

Haha, I'm with you. To bad it doesn't also come with the F-49 in it. Considering the pants are high water I might just be able to pull them off with the doll I want them for.

 

The blue kimono is incredible! I really want to try to snag it! Ahhh I love the kimonos.

I like the school uniforms the best. ^^ But will most likely be too lazy to figure out the AE... >.>;;

I don´t know if there is any official confirmation right now...I think Volks is only posting these infos on the AE sites wich are not up yet.
But through the last Dolpas all the official dolls have been available in the AE unless the were event exclusive which was known before. So it´s a good chance that Yo Megu and Sd16 Megu will be available.

 

I cannot wait to find out which ones are coming here. I love the Volks lotteries. It is always so exciting and wonderful to enter them. It's almost as good as getting the doll you want. Maybe I am strange but I think I am a lottery addict. I wouldn't change it for all the world. ^^

I just adore SD16 Megu! She's certainly not the type of doll I usually like but she's certainly tempting. I'm also really interested in the Yo Ken and Mika. I'd really love to bring one of them home some day! It's going to be awesome if Volks starts doing Yo MSDs! Just think about a YO Mihmi or Toppi. :3

 

Funny sometime I have the opposite wish I'd love an MSD 4 sisters or a msd Rinon.

I agree even though I don't have the space for large dolls but SD 16 Megu is stunning. An msd Megu I'd have space for though.

 

Yeh I am with you on that about time we had a MSD Megu that would be so wonderful and my F04 Volks MSD would have a friend.

 

I'm disappointed there aren't any boys this time around. : < None of these girls are to my taste despite how pretty they are.

Although I do like the school uniforms, I probably won't go through the trouble of buying them. Volks always comes out with such beautiful kimonos.

I would love a MSD Four Sisters! I considered getting a Yo Four Sisters head and trying it on an SDC body because the SDC girls have smaller heads than MSD girls, but when I did a headswap with my SDC Kurenai and YoSD Yuh, it really didn't work. The heads are the same circumference, but the features of the Yo head are much smaller. It wouldn't look right, sadly.

Hope Volks does bring out a mini-Four Sisters one day though!

Just filed my taxes and my refund was enough to get me SD16 Megu (and possibly Yo Megu...) Now to just wait for the lotteries to open up!

Well, I'll still try for the fullset, which I would LOVE, just couldn't afford double the price on secondary market.
Also, have Una from last time, but don't regret it one bit, she's been my little angel for months now and is just the sweetest thing imaginable!! Good luck to everyone trying for Una and Megu!! I sure hope I get the yo-Megu fullset!!! *fingers crossed*

Man, I've been so out of the loop dolls-wise for ages... I *need* a Yo Megu; it has long been my plan to own a four sisters in ever size they're available in (and now I'll have Megu AND Kira to lust after in the super-size)

I'm interested in seeing more pictures of SD16 Megu. I read that her hands and shoulders will be different but the photos leave a great deal to the imagination. Also, I'm loving Volk's new faceups. They've really improved from just a couple of years ago. They have quite a few gorgeous dolls but some of their faceup choices don't really show a sculpt's true potential.

 

Perhaps i will go to Fukuoka for the Yosd (in the same time for the sakura) at the after Event ! so happy ^^ !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I'm also entering for Yo-SD Megu and know of quite a few other people who are as well. She's so darling, how can she not be super popular?

 

Okay, good to know. Then my best bet will definitely be to try to get her in Japan instead of hoping for luck in the lottery.
