Thumbs! Lol! Same thought when I saw the racket. Maybe a tezuka or fujima cosplay.

I'm pretty safe except for the outfits!

 

I really like YoSD Megu. I have wanted one for awhile now, but have been waiting for an Online US release. I may have to try for her

 

I love YoSD Megu's kimono and Komame! Any idea how similar in size this Komame is to the original Komame released by special order with SD13 Jun Tachibana?

 

Ack! Volks is so evil. xD All those adorable school uniforms are so tempting.

 

Does that little red jacket set fit SD16 or is it too skinny? I'd love that for my Jo. He only has his default set so far and gets so little love. Poor Jo needs more clothes.

 

I think I am safe dollwise.. I still don't know what to think of DD Lucy. I keep staring at her photo but can't make up my mind.

The outfits however...

 

I don't see a difference in the Elbow joint either, more of the Shoulder joint... It has that added "Shell" to it like the SDGr Girls.

I am pretty sure that shell is actually just a kips disc. They make them resin flesh coloured now.

Although I don't have a DD yet, I am already thinking to get the kitchen set for the future DD...

Do you have better pictures of Megu? It really looks like how my kips look in my girl at home. There are no extra jointing cups visible from the outside of the joint that I can make out in the pics shared, just the one shot where you can see inside the shoulder joint, and it looks like a kips disc. In the shot of her from behind where her shoulder is completely exposed, there's no visible shoulder cup like there would be for dolls who have that.

 

This is what I mean... I own 4 SD16 girls ATM and have had way more in the past and NONE of them past or present have had that "shell" in their rotator cuff like Yukinojo:

Yeah, that is what I am talking about. Unless you can only see the cuff from the front, there's no visible extra joint in the shot of where you can see her exposed shoulder from behind. I am not familiar with the SDGr girl and the only naked shot should I could find was from the front and the cuff is REALLY obvious. Which is why I think that little extra bit is a kips disc. It looks thin enough, the colour is right, and would explain why you couldn't see it from behind.

We definitely need better pics.

 

Yo Megu - Yo Mika - Yo Una ... I'm in Yo Heaven!!!!! I can't wait! I want all three so very much!

 

In my opinion that what looks like an extra joint cup (for a lack of a better word for it) is just the reflection of that strange transparent shoulder strap you can see in the top right picture.

 

STILL waiting for Luna rerelease. Nothing interesting here for me.

 

I think the SD16 body on Megu is different. I personally see a difference in the elbow joint. It looks more like the peanut shape from the SDgrG elbows. The usual Sd16 double joint is basically a ball joint with "teeth" on the ends, and it looks very different from Megu's promo pics. She gorgeous though! I like the full lips and the worried expression :3 I wish they would've gave her a different outfit though >< Too similar to Kira's

 

It does seem like the arm has been updated, and Volks does make a point of showing the arm engineering on the page entitled SD16 Girl Body as though it requires reintroduction. Seems logical that they would do a few updates based on the feedback on the Gr girl body.

I like Megu, but both her outfit and Kira's gave me that boudoir fantasy/Britney Spears' 18th birthday kind of vibe. >.>

 

SD16 Megu is so lovely.......must stay focused and not fall for her.

 

Disappointed that there are no SD girls this time but I am done for if they release this version of yo megu internationally as it has got to be my fave version so far out of all the 4 sisters and previous yo megu versions ^^ I definitely will try for her if she is released internationally.

 

I love SD16 Megu and little tenshi Mika!
I know I won't be getting either of them this time around, but they are very sweet.

not all 16G body have double jointed (or the joint cup) elbow, at least not 1st Pearl body...
I would like to get the optional hands for 16G though.....

Looks like I'm totally safe this dolpa for dolls and clothes! On the plus side, I'll get to enjoy my first dolpa without stressing over being in the right place at the right time. I still plan to enter the one-off lottery though! Come on, one-off Luna!

I'm rather positive SD16 Megu has updated arm joints. Yes, it's logical Volks should improve the joints after the release of SDGrG. That's what I've been waiting for. And the option hands are adorable.

Ohhh Bonmwe thanks a lot. They are really clear now. I absolutely need to have both Ken and Mika! they are soooo adorable! I wonder how many Una will be released. If I think how much I spent to get her the first time I faint! And now they release her once again...I don't understand this policy!!! If it's limited to 150 pcs and you pay for being so limited, I can't understand why they then re-release her identically! At least they should change something on the new release.

 

I know... It's the same with Yo Megu and Komame. T.T I'm a little disappointed. They don't even try to change the fullset this time! They're exactly the same... both Yo Megu and Una... T.T

ohhh more than the first time then. That is not very fear. If a doll is limited to 150 it's limited to 150 pieces!!!! otherwise they should say it's not from the very beginning! I would have waited!!!

Honestly I feel a bit disappointed too and I agree.
Especially when it is special edition and limited, I think it should stay limited. It is not fair for people who bought her first.
It seems to be new Volks policy. Similar story has happened with Saber Alter DD.

BTW I really love the new tenshi too! ^_^

 

I agree, it´s unfair to the people who paid so much for getting Una.
The same with Megu she´s about 90.000 yen on Yjp.
Does anyone know if the Una lottery is for volks VIP-members only?

 

If I'm not wrong, Una is only-sato. So I think you have to attend the event yourself to get her ^_^

 

I always found that the key to this hobby is patience, patience, patience and don't overspend. So many times I have ended up spending way too much in the past and Volks always ends up rereleasing anyway. Even if the doll doesn't get rereleased there will definitely be another nice doll that will end up in your collection later on. >.<

Just my 2 cents of course.. haha >-< Not everyone may agree to what I said.

 

Looking at my Volks News, it seems quite complicated to go for Una. You have to be VS or VIP member, but also you have to apply to get in by the 15th. I think it might be a lottery system. If your number is picked they let you know by the 17th of this month. Then you have to pay a reservation fee to attend--I think that's what the pair of special event yo-tenshi wings cost. It says 200 people will be chosen, though I'm not sure all 200 get dolls? It might be a lottery system again even if you get in.

Una's grown on me seeing her on and off, and these pics make her look gorgeous. It's odd because I don't really care for Megu and it's the same head O_o. I'm gonna do some picture research before I make a decision. I also really like Mika, and stand a much greater chance of pulling her off. Either way I'm only allowing myself to get one doll this month, and another company's doll has also caught my eye...will really have to think about it over the next few days!

 

I know she´s Sato only, but I remember when Una was first released last year
she was only available on a special party right after the event - also just for VIP-members.
So I would like to know if anyone in Sato (not just volks VIP-members) can try getting her this time.^^

From what I know, Una is only for VIP members ^_^ First, you have to enter a lottery to get a 'seat' for this special event. Next, pay to attend the event if you won an invite. 200 people will get chosen but only 120 can get dolls. But everyone can buy the optional special wings. Hope that helps ^_^

 

It is not unlike Volks to release a doll at an event for specific members and then re-release them at a later date to more people (White Rabbit is a good example of this) or at another similar event (Yo Tenshi Yuki for example). They have always had a habit of re-releasing dolls and I have always kept this in mind when making a Volks limited purchase (especially on the second hand market). It has never bothered me much In fact, I am glad they do, it gives more people and opportunity to get a doll they missed out without having to pay high aftermarket prices. Hence one of the reasons I am so excited for Yo Megu!!
