Has anyone gotten a shipping notice from Volks USA yet? I haven't.

 

For clothes? I got mine on Monday.

 

I got mine on Monday as well - though it does have 'through yahoo store order system' so you may want to check your spam folder/settings? (really don't see why they'd flag the message.

I'm so happy my stuff will be here Friday ^^ (kinda wish it was earlier but I guess going from coast to coast in 5 days is pretty good for UPS)

 

Oh Aree I thought you did learn the techniques in Volks' Class as I posted, but it would be cool if Volks had a tutorial on it. Then again, you've already written a great one here for us! Since his lips are glossed, I'm going to try painting over the black commas on my Smike (Yo-Isao) first. If that doesn't give me results I hoping for, I'll use try removing them and hope I don't have to redo his mouth completely.

Ah, never mind, package arrived today, lol. The frying pan is so cute~

 

Squeeeeeeee - my Kimono & Pink Heart outfits came. I'm overcome by the cuteness!!!

 

I think Yumeko's ready to kill me in my sleep for modeling the Yellow Apron Set on her, what do you think?

 

Yumeko-chan Eeeeee it looks so cute! Kinda wish I got that set too.... (and the elementary school outfit and and and.... lol)

Dang, the little white shoes I added to my Kyoto 9 order were messed up with a big crease down the whole side of one. (It was just the little MSD white 9$ shoes...) but thankfully Volks will replace it, even though they said it wasn't considered a defect. Maybe that's fate telling me I should have bought the 42$ white boots they had at the release?? lol

 

I just got a shipping notice for my Yo-SD extra hands!

 

Finally got a shipping notice for Yo-Megu! I ordered Sato-gaeri Services, so my little one took longer. But, she should be here on Thursday, according to UPS! Yo-Megu has been on my 'grail' list forever, so this is pretty exciting!

 

My little Megu is here! She's so much cuter than I had imagined! For those who have this little girl at home, could you tell me how you tied her kimono? In particular, how are the white straps tied? I'm having some difficulty with them. For now, she's wearing Komame's outfit (she looks adorable in it!):

Anna I've asked my friend who is familiar with kimino to help me too. You put one white strap into a little hole under her left kimono sleeve. Tie both ends in place at her back. Then, put the obi on top.

 

I got a shipping notice a few days ago and my Yo Megu is HOME and waiting to be released from her box - I am sooo excited I just had to post here first! I went and had the full satogayeri service done on her, and ordered all the hands, actually multiples of all the hands so her brother White Rabbit Fiver can share in the fun. I am too excited to open the box, but Fiver is Leaping to see his sister!

Oh Gosh Anna - yours is so very Beautiful! Pretty clever putting her in the koname outfit - I wonder if I will be able to figure out the kimono, will let you know if I do

Rudy, thank you very much for explaining! I actually was looking for a little hole, but didn't look under the sleeves (was looking around the waist area). It all makes perfect sense now! I'm going to have to put her in the kimono later today Though, I have to admit, the Komame outfit is pretty darn cute on her

DollZwize, congrats on getting your girl! I was beginning to regret getting the Sato-gaeri Services and the increasing waiting time it requires, but it's definitely worth the wait. She's so smooth and perfect. Next time, I'll opt for the extra servicing again for sure.

 

Got my new SD16 girl hands order this week -- and my Megu, Kira and Ami Ayase found uses for the "oh my!" hands...

Anna - I feel the same exact way, I love how amazing the full shebang makes her feel that I agree, it's worth the wait and I also Truly appreciate your asking about tying the kimono, I never would have guessed that myself - I was looking for a separate hole for the tie string too

Congrats on all the new dollies! I wanted to share my Megu (Fleur), now that she has her eyes and wig I really wanted her to look like a little flower
