Production Outsourcing Hiring a Casting Company

Yeah, I would like to know if anybody on here has hired a casting company to cast their dolls and if they found it worth the extra cost, time and.. stuff? If you're planning to, say, offer your resin dolls to customers, would it be a better idea to learn about resin and cast all the dolls yourself?

I've looked through the forum in search of answers, but couldn't really find any, hence why I'm now starting this thread.
