    1. I'm new to owning BJDs but I've known about them a few years. Only recently started getting into doll collecting at all. I'm mostly interested in 1/4 scale fashion BJDs like PashaPasha, Popovy, and Sugarbone, but I also like the art styles of Doll Chateau and Coral Reef.

      The only BJD I own at the moment is Violet from Metis Doll. I'm waiting for my preferred faceup artist to open commissions so she's blank for now, but I'm excited to get that done and put together a full look so I can share her on here. I'm also planning on ordering either a Simply Beautiful or G4 Mini from PashaPasha soon.

    2. Welcome to DoA!

      I hope a slot comes up with your preferred artist soon for that faceup - it makes such a difference ot a doll once they're painted up.

      We go for very different styles of doll - I admire the fashion-type dolls in other peoples' collections but they're not really for me (most of my BJDs are children or younger teens) but that's one of the great things about this hobby - lots of variety and customising means all tastes can be catered for.
